01/09/2025: I'll start by saying that I'm from Romagna, the land of hospitality par excellence. I have relatives in Manfredonia and I was born there. We arrive at this place, where two long faces welcome us, we ask to be able to sit down and they start by saying "look at the menu first and then you can sit down". I've never experienced anything like this before and I go around restaurants a lot. So we sit down because I was terribly hungry. On the menu I read ANGUS HAMBURGER. Well, I expect a sandwich since in the sandwich section the hamburger name is the same. I get a Swiss steak with a little rocket and some chopped tomatoes without seasoning, two of a kind of potato boats. I try the Swiss, dry as few things in this world, I ask for two sauces to wash it down, and the waitress, very annoyed, brings me two tiny bowls with mayonnaise and ketchup. So, first of all, if it was truly Black Angus, you let me choose how to cook the meat, not decide it voluntarily, and above all, don't look annoyed if the two people with me only wanted two beers and fries. In conclusion, my expectations were high since I had looked for it days before and was excited to try it, but as they teach us in Romagna, 1. a smile is fundamental 2. the customer is sacred 3. stay home if you don't want to work 4. don't open a restaurant if you don't know how to manage it. AN EXPERIENCE I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, EVER AGAIN.

My friend Mirko and I sometimes go back to Pizza Bomba to get the pizzoni with multiple toppings on top (never more than 3). I have both positive and negative comments. Until this month, October 2025, the pizzone with speck and scamorza + tuna and onion + boscaiola cheese cost €19. Now, the same pizzone costs €21... Not to be stingy, because the pizza is definitely worth the money, but it loses some credibility/trust if they change prices so randomly. It was always sliced ​​and always had the same flavors.

05/11/2025: We had lunch here as a couple on a weekday. While the food was well-prepared and well-prepared, it's a shame the service didn't meet expectations. We had a long wait, about 45 minutes for appetizers and 20 minutes for the water we'd ordered. The waitresses were a bit distracted by the workers having lunch there, who were given absolute priority over customers/tourists. I wouldn't return for lunch for this reason. They apologized for their patience, but for a hiker, the wait is definitely too long, even for just a bottle of water.

01/11/2025: Really good pizza, it's a shame they offer gluten-free pizza but there's a sign on the counter indicating the possibility of contamination.... And for those with allergies I don't think it's a good thing.... Anyway, the pizza is delicious 😋

08/07/2025: Great experience! We stumbled upon this cozy little shop when we were looking for a restaurant nearby. Although there was only one person serving, the owner was very attentive. The main customers were local residents, some of whom seemed to be regulars, and one table even ate by themselves. We ordered beef tartare, pasta, risotto and steak, which were delicious! Eating with a friend whom I hadn't seen for a long time, we chatted for a long time beyond the business hours, and the owner didn't chase us away~ I will come again next time😊

04/11/2025: I could have bought frozen lamb from a random supermarket and it would have tasted better than what they served. For the price they charge, it’s frankly a ripoff. What made the experience even worse was the staff’s attitude: the waiter insisted, in a rather bossy tone, that we pay one single bill, even though each of us was charged a service fee. You either apply a service fee per table or allow separate bills. You can’t have it both ways. Having lived in Italy for years, I can say I’ve rarely had such an unpleasant dining experience.

31/10/2025: We loved this little restaurant where we had dinner. The welcome was very friendly. The appetizers and assortment of breads and breadsticks were a nice touch. The dishes were very good. I would have liked a bit more fish with the orecchiette, though. Remember to book ahead, as the restaurant is quite small when the weather isn't suitable for dining on the terrace.

14/10/2025: Stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring Salo and glad we changed our plans to dine here. Welcoming environment and attentive service accompanied great seafood dishes. Great recommendations for food and wine that lead to an great last meal visiting Lake Garda.

19/10/2025: Great food, excellent variety and great service, really fast and courteous given that the restaurant was full and they were overwhelmed! The atmosphere is nice as well but the 2-star ranking is linked to the following matter. Unfortunately, I am giving only 1 star because of the fact that they allow dogs in a restaurant! I believe it is common sense that where there is food involved, animals are forbidden and it would be a good idea to check law and regulations in Italy...needless to explain why in a restaurant this is inappropriate...dog hair flows on food, they scratch and shake their hair, bark etc Judge for yourself.

16/10/2025: Amazing. How else can I describe sushi as reasonably priced for what it offers? I went for lunch for €18.50 per person for three, and I'll never forget those fish rolls. Nice place.

14/11/2025: Excellent experience at Yumi Sushi in Montecchio Emilia! I was truly impressed. The fish is incredibly fresh, the portions generous, and the presentation impeccable. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling, and the atmosphere is refined and welcoming. I tried several uramaki and sashimi: everything was top-notch, you could taste the quality. Even the tempura was incredibly light and crispy, a rarity. Excellent value for money. I'll definitely be back; it's become my go-to sushi spot in the area. Highly recommended!

12/08/2025: This establishment was recommended to us by local friends: what a great discovery!! We had a great time in a place full of charm and conviviality. The owner welcomed us by serving us an aperitif in the garden, perfect to start, we felt at home. What followed was a taste festival! A succession of dishes cooked with love and respect for local seasonal products. Even the digestifs are a homemade creation. In summary: an impeccable welcome with respect for its guests, delicious dishes in large quantities, a place full of charm and calm, and unbeatable prices. Stop by without hesitation!!!
