I'm disappointed because I would have liked to give it 5 stars. The food was excellent, featuring typical Brescian dishes, well-presented and tasty. The atmosphere was well-maintained, and the tables were comfortable and well-spaced. It's a shame there was a small inconvenience, perhaps due to the greenhouse. We ordered an appetizer with cold cuts and other items, and they brought us two side dishes, which we began to enjoy. Unfortunately, shortly afterward, one of the staff came over, very bravely, and took one of the two dishes, which we had already started, and as she took it, she said, "Sorry, there was a mistake." It's nothing special, of course, but if you make a mistake, I would have expected to hear, "Sorry, we made a mistake and we're offering you this dish." Okay, it's a small inconvenience, I hope these situations can be handled better in the future. Otherwise, I'd say everything is fine.

A small restaurant nestled in the Ome vineyards, there are two entrances: one via a dirt road through the vineyards, and the other via a traditional entrance, similar to the nearby parking lot. A charming place, enlivened by amusing signs and a magnificent, greedy parrot. The dishes are generous and truly delicious. I always choose it for business lunches because it has an excellent vegetable buffet, with a wide variety. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and familiar.

Having moved to the new location in Ome, the look has definitely changed, but not the overall feel. The atmosphere is family-friendly, very clean, with a large open grill and both indoor and outdoor tables. The menu and the quality of the dishes remain the same as always: tasty and well-prepared. The cod, pinsa, and ravioli with Lambrusco were particularly popular, dishes we'd enjoyed before and never disappointed. In addition to the traditional menu, there are often other dishes to enjoy with friends, and given their success, they seem to be excellent. Prices are average, and I recommend it for a dinner with friends or family.

Excellent experience, warm and welcoming place. The staff was cheerful and knowledgeable. The menu offered the simplicity of popular cuisine, but with the excellence of local products. A must-try. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

In a well-hidden corner of Franciacorta lies a simple osteria, offering Brescian dishes and some great classics. The restaurant is housed in a local house, with a veranda made cozy by the warmth of the fire and the friendly staff. A true osteria menu, no frills, appetizers, first courses, and second courses, choices consistent with our tradition. We choose the top dish off the menu: the grilled Florentine steak with sautéed mushrooms, potatoes, and polenta on the side. In the background, the Brescian spit turns silently. We'll try it next time, we tell ourselves. Excellent quality meat, perhaps the best Florentine steak of the many we've tried here in the area. Excellent mushrooms. Delicious bread and breadsticks. Decent house wine. Desserts are few: we choose the sbrisolona and the pistachio brick. Good. Soft, romantic atmosphere. Quiet place. Top service. Reasonable prices. Well done guys. Kudos to the master stoker: the Florentine steak was perfectly cooked. And there's also the tablecloth, which I always appreciate. Will you become our favorite osteria? I have to try the spit-roasted meat... I'll let you know later.

02/02/2026: Good food, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. The bill was quite high, perhaps a little too high, but it was still a very positive experience.
31/01/2026: Excellent experience. Refined and successful cuisine, we discovered interesting new flavors. The sturgeon tartare and pasta with sardines were fantastic. The owner welcomed us and catered to our needs impeccably. Highly recommended!

02/04/2026: It's an old bakery converted into a bar/pizzeria, meaning they serve excellent slices of their homemade pizza, which is both delicious and thick. They also make colomba cakes, which I'm told are spectacular, but you have to book them in advance. Prices are normal for Brescia. The spritz is made with Surlo.
09/02/2026: I'd been hearing good things about it for a few years. I took the opportunity to wander around Brescia city center for an aperitivo. I booked a couple of days in advance because I'd read that the place was quite small and often packed. I confirmed my spot via WhatsApp for an hour and a half (there were probably other reservations later). We arrived easily and were pleasantly surprised by the view of the alley where the place is located. Roman ruins and a castle in the background, truly spectacular. The place consists of a long, narrow room with a couple of counters: a larger one on the left with pizzas/focaccias and a smaller one near the entrance with a cash register and gelato station. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant, thanks in part to the vaulted brick ceiling, which is truly a feast for the eyes. The young lady who welcomed us was truly kind and smiling. She led us to a small room in the back, with three tables set up in the restaurant's storage room, featuring classic aluminum shelving and very dim lighting. The main room is decidedly more welcoming and well-kept; the second (ours) room is smaller, a bit dark, and understandably adapted to accommodate more seating. When we asked for a menu, they explained that there wasn't one, and they explained some of the options verbally (personally, I'd prefer something written in front of me, even just a sheet of paper with a few cocktails or drinks). We were persuaded by the SURLO, their aperitif/bitter, which is the equivalent of Brescia's Pirlo. We paired it with two slices of pizza we'd spotted on the counter as we passed: one a sort of marinara, with anchovies, olives, and garlic, and the other with Pak-choi cabbage and pestom (fresh salami dough). We loved the Surlo! The flavors were excellent, a little too much ice, but really enjoyable. The pizzas are the highlight! The slice isn't too big, divided into 6 squares, but it's really good! Light dough, excellent ingredients, and balanced flavors. Price for the Surlo: €5 Price for a slice of pizza: €5 All in all, a nice aperitif, in a beautiful location but with room for improvement in some areas, and at a decidedly good price. We'll be back.
