20/06/2025: Wonderful manga setting. It feels like being catapulted into Japan. The place, in the university area of ​​Verona, is spread over 2 levels. On the first floor you can sit on very comfortable bottle crates and “improvised” tables in a great Street atmosphere, in the basement you will find walls painted with famous manga. The bathroom was a surprise. The tiles are Lupin themed! I love it! The food is delicious and the placemats are collectible. I leave you all the photos for description!

28/05/2025: I came from Vicenza on purpose because it had the best reviews, but in the ramen the eggs were still cold and the noodles were all stuck together like mush and in general the ramen was quite disappointing compared to other ichiban I've been to, but at least the service was excellent and the macha tiramisu was truly perfect and these 2 things raised the score!

05/07/2025: I have been to almost all the ice cream shops in Grosseto, Marina di Grosseto and for the experience I had it was almost passable. They gave me a small plastic cup with granita for €4.50. It was not very tasty, the portion was small and the quality was also lacking. Compared to the granita offered by Gelateria Papeete di Severi Antonella there is no comparison. The portion is almost double, the flavors are quality and the price is also lower. I tried Da Carla ice cream 1 year ago and it was decent but in Grosseto there are several ice cream shops that offer much higher quality ice cream at a lower price 😋🍧 The "Le Bontà" ice cream shop near Grosseto station offers a cone with 4 flavors for €4, plus if you want they give you free cream and many times in the ice cream there is a stick that you can eat together with the ice cream 😌 and as if that wasn't enough the portions are abundant 👍🏾

29/06/2025: Last night I decided to try Assaje, a Neapolitan pizzeria in the Buonarroti area, attracted by the fact that they also offer gluten-free options. The environment is well-kept, the area is quiet and pleasant, and the service was fast and friendly from the first moment. Before going there I had called to ask for information. When asked if I was celiac or just intolerant, I explained that although I do not have an acute allergic reaction, I have a diagnosis of celiac disease and that, in the event of significant contamination, I feel sick. They responded transparently, explaining that they are not an AIC certified restaurant and do not have separate kitchens. However, they reassured me that they use separate worktops and cook gluten-free pizzas in dedicated pans, even if inside the same oven. I would like to emphasize that, if I had felt sick, it would not have been their fault, because they had clearly informed me and I chose to go there with full awareness. The most limiting part was the choice: no gluten-free appetizers, except for the cold cuts platters that I preferred to avoid, because that wasn't what I was looking for in a pizzeria. It was explained to me that fried foods are not available in a gluten-free version, which is why most of the appetizers are not accessible to celiacs. This made me think that even some pizzas, such as those that include croquettes or other breaded and fried ingredients, are not adaptable, for exactly the same reason. I didn't ask for direct confirmation, but it is a limitation to keep in mind. My pizza was well topped, with fresh ingredients and a gluten-free dough that, although different from the classic one (thicker, without a crust), was pleasant and not at all rubbery. Visually it was different from the pizzas of the rest of the people at the table, which is understandable given the difficulty of the product. The taste was good and I felt light after eating it, without any discomfort. Even the price, considering Milan and the specificity of the offer, seemed fair to me. The dessert moment was the most disappointing. There were no options dedicated to celiacs, not even packaged ones. The only proposal was a pizza with Nutella, which after a whole pizza I didn't think was worth taking. Even with the final liqueurs there was a forced selection: they brought three flavors, pistachio, melon and limoncello, but I was told that the only safe one for me was limoncello. In short, I appreciate the effort of the place in wanting to accommodate those with specific dietary needs. In my case I had no problems with contamination, something I don't take for granted. However, the proposal remains incomplete. If you are looking for an experience that goes from appetizer to dessert without worries, this place is not ideal. If instead you just want a good pizza, cooked with attention and by trained staff, then it is worth considering. Having said that, a message for Assaje: A couple of gluten-free appetizers and desserts, well thought out, would not only make the experience more complete for those with celiac disease, but could also earn you many more customers. The quality is there: all that is missing is that step forward to make you truly inclusive of everyone.

27/06/2025: It's now a sure thing when you want pizza. After each meal they leave you 3 mini alcoholic drinks and sometimes sweets. A special thanks to Jasim who is always available and friendly towards us.

22/06/2025: Tasty and heartwarming food topped up with amazing views. Lots of dishes are prepared with local products and they are marked on the menu. Portions are generous and powered us through the hike after. We had carbonara, polenta with cheese and sausage, homemade ginger schnapps and cappuccino👍🏻

11/06/2025: Very nice place, red brick, wood and metals. Welcoming and kind staff, really top. Excellent Neapolitan style pizzas, top quality materials and great price. Definitely coming back.

08/06/2025: Casa Cantoniera is a beautiful high-end restaurant: very well-kept environment both inside and out. The service is excellent: all the waiters who served at the table were friendly, kind, professional and nice. The pizza is good (but the edge is too full, it should just be "puffy" ...), better than the average of other pizzerias also thanks to the excellent quality raw materials, but in my personal opinion you can find better at even more affordable prices. Exceptional desserts! Recommended for those who want to spend a good evening in a nice place eating well without worrying about their wallet. Last note: few spaces in the parking lot.

15/06/2025: Bad experience ruined at the cash register: I order a brisket from the menu they tell me not available, I order a flank they tell me for the second time not available. The dinner proceeds with excellent dishes and a kind service; however at the time of payment I maintain that the unavailable dishes should be reported immediately to the customer or at least removed from the menu naively discovering that the brisket is virtually available but it was not served to me. Final mockery after no discount applied not even a bitter offered they ask me if I was serious in the complaints.

06/07/2025: We had lunch at this agriturismo and, even though we hadn't booked and the place was full, we were welcomed with great kindness and served quickly. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, the staff is very friendly and the menu is really rich. They serve Trentino specialties, many products are 0 km. We ate very well (large portions) and a special mention goes to the desserts, with a truly delicious flavor (ice cream and yogurt with milk of their production). A wonderful discovery, we will definitely return!

22/05/2025: In the last year the cuisine and dishes have improved a lot. Rustic and welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the Ascolana olives and fried cheese is high. Good and well-filled pizzas. Prices are normal but could be improved

15/05/2025: Quiet, intimate, well-run place. I really liked this tavern in the village of Casalvieri in many ways. I give 10 cum laude to the appetizer I had called Vignarola: a mix of artichoke wedges, asparagus and courgettes, I think browned in a pan, with the addition of mint leaves for a taste and aroma that is now unusual to find, unless the meal is prepared in our homes. Followed by roast chicken with potatoes made as at home and a side of cooked wild vegetables. All very good and well cooked.
