16/11/2024: We were taken here by friends for dinner. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior this place is outstanding. A really well procured menu with local ingredients, an extensive wine list and solid cocktail list make for a great night out. I started with the carpaccio which was not only delicious, but a large portion. That followed with the beef cheeks which melted in my mouth. Every mouthful of food was delicious. I can also recommend the Negronis as an aperitivo. Add to that friendly attentive service. If your in the area pay this place a visit as you won't be disappointed.

10/11/2024: La comida era excelente y los servicios eran excepcionales. Bianca y Gabriel cuidaron de nuestra fiesta con calidez, paciencia y humor. Fue una experiencia excelente y la comida estaba muy bien preparada y las porciones eran muy generosas! ¡El tiramisú fue el mejor!

14/01/2025: An unforgettable culinary experience! Il Grottino in Todi is a true jewel for lovers of Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and perfect for a relaxing dinner or a special occasion. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and always ready to recommend the best local dishes and wines. The menu offers a variety of proposals that enhance the authentic flavors of Umbria. From the rich and tasty appetizers to the first courses prepared with the freshest ingredients, each course tells the story of the culinary tradition of the area. The meat, tender and succulent, is simply spectacular. And we can't forget the desserts: a real delight to end the meal in style. The quality-price ratio is excellent, especially considering the high quality of the raw materials and the care in presentation. Highly recommended for those who want to live an authentic experience in the heart of Todi. We will definitely be back!

23/12/2024: INCREDIBLE! My family and I (celiac) stopped here for lunch after trying to find a gluten free restaurant between Perugia and Viterbo and wow am I glad this is what we picked. Everything that we ordered was great. They informed me that almost the entire menu could be made gluten free. We ordered a mixed fried appetizer that included things like sage, apples, zucchini flowers, and rice balls. For our meals we got their carbonara with artichokes gluten free and two orders of the pork with salted caramel sauce. For dessert my dad had the pan seared panettone with homemade cream and limoncello and I had the gluten free no bake cheesecake with wild berry topping. Everything was amazing but the caramel pork really stole the show in all of our opinions and is possibly one of the best dishes we've ever had. I was so lucky to find somewhere so ready to accommodate my gluten free diet and would love to pass back by here in warmer months to enjoy their beautiful terrace!

Located next to the splendid Church of San Fortunato, this winery is the perfect place for those looking for an authentic and relaxing experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with a perfect mix of rustic and elegant. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the best wines based on customers' tastes. The selection of wines is exceptional, with local labels that tell the history and tradition of the Umbrian territory. In addition to the wine, the cold cuts and cheese platters deserve a special mention: high quality, fresh and delicious products, ideal for accompanying a good glass. The view of the square and the peaceful environment make everything even more pleasant. Highly recommended for both a quick tasting and a longer evening with friends. 29/12/2024: Delicious lunch in a fantastic location, right in the center of Todi. The dishes are simple but with the highest quality ingredients and made with care. The wines are excellent and recommended by the owner who is a competent and passionate sommelier. Excellent value for money. Super recommended!

02/01/2025: Let's start by saying that I recommend the restaurant and for a very good reason: you eat well and you spend the right amount. And when a restaurant offers good products on the plate, then everything else goes by the wayside. I also add that I hadn't booked and I was alone and I know that economically, for a restaurateur I'm a bad customer who occupies a table for 2. Despite this, they were able to find me a place in the outdoor area, without too many problems. Medal. Since it was the middle of winter it was a bit chilly, the table was set a la "va la Peppone", but the service was fast. The waitress, very unprepared, denied me a sachet of sweetener just because of the hassle of going to get it. Sin. The food was excellent, 4 cheese and mushroom crostini that moved me and the pork stew in Sagrantino that really satisfied me, both in taste and portion size. Baked potatoes, excellent. A glass of Sagrantino, very good. A coffee (with half a bag of sugar, meh). All in all, in a jungle of catering, between fusion, brunch and aperitif, long live trattorias like this, with their strengths and weaknesses, but which fulfill their purpose: they send you away with a full belly and a good taste in your mouth. I conclude by reiterating my positive impression and my advice to go and try the local specialties. They know how to do them.

29/12/2024: In this restaurant in Todi not only do you eat very well, but all those who work there are true professionals who know how to do their job with great passion. 05/01/2025: Unfortunately we didn't have a good time. The staff was very kind and polite but the dishes and some details need to be reviewed in my opinion. We ordered two rare cuts and they were served cold. We pointed this out but they brought them back to us only reheating the dishes. They were inedible and we left them.

29/12/2024: In a family environment you can taste typical Tuderte cuisine. Everything was delicious and the service from Anna, the hostess, was infinitely sweet. It deserves five stars on everything. I will definitely go back.

27/12/2024: Without words!!! Very kind and friendly owners. The cuisine is EXCELLENT to say the least!!! Exceptional flavors of the past! Instead of bread they served us: white pizza, white pizza with onion and testo cake (as I write this I'm salivating again!)... Sweets from the family pastry shop near the Duomo, where we had two excellent artisanal panettone which we had had a taste of at the restaurant! If you go there on Sunday, remember to ask for something off the menu! That's definitely special too! I ate the Gobbi parmigiana (artichoke cardoons) SIMPLY PERFECT! We also ate the roasted potatoes, among the best EVER!!! We would have eaten them forever!!!

13/01/2025: La Mulinella es uno de los mejores restaurantes que he encontrado en Italia. Pasta y pan caseros. Este restaurante de propiedad familiar todavía tiene el corazón de la auténtica cocina italiana en el corazón de un hermoso ambiente. No olvides la Panna Cotta y otros postres caseros. Bien vale la pena el viaje de 3 minutos en coche en las afueras de Todi. Me detengo cada vez que visito Italia. Muy recomendable.

05/10/2024: Great wine, great food, great service. We enjoyed it a lot. The pork and the truffle noodles were amazing and the desserts also special and different from what you normally get even if you order standard dishes. Service was quick and friendly. It's also possible to do a wine tasting from their own vineyard.

31/12/2024: I had dinner at this restaurant with my wife on the evening of December 30th. Delightful location and impeccable service. As an appetizer we ate a slice of brioche bread with an egg and some crispy bacon on top, very good but certainly not abundant. Then we had the tortellini in broth which I must say were disappointing, the broth not very tasty and the quantity of tortellini was really small. my wife had an amaretto semifreddo with orange flakes, very good but I didn't dare try it as the slice was really thin, A bottle of wine which cost around €25 euros and a coffee. Bill 110 euros. We left hungry and went to the pastry shop to eat something. Conclusion If you want to have a small snack in a nice but certainly not cheap place, this is the right place.

23/12/2024: Unfortunately, my expectations were ruined. The place is very nice as is the impeccable service. However, I expected better regarding the food. The first (persimmon tagliatelle) was quite tasteless and the cut was completely negligible, both as a piece and as cooked. It's a shame because many people I know well have always behaved very very well. Positive note: beautiful and very good tartare
