16/11/2024: We were taken here by friends for dinner. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior this place is outstanding. A really well procured menu with local ingredients, an extensive wine list and solid cocktail list make for a great night out. I started with the carpaccio which was not only delicious, but a large portion. That followed with the beef cheeks which melted in my mouth. Every mouthful of food was delicious. I can also recommend the Negronis as an aperitivo. Add to that friendly attentive service. If your in the area pay this place a visit as you won't be disappointed.

16/12/2024: High-class tavern, with slowfood dishes, we took a platter of cured meats and cheeses and really good mister bruschetta, then baked lamb with summer truffle, good flavor but I would have liked it crunchier, it almost seemed boiled. We also had stew with wine which was good but not excellent. The owner let us taste some truly superlative new oil. As a dessert, fresh ricotta served with chocolate, caramel and honey, top marks, all washed down with a truly delicious Sagrantino wine. The two owners are really friendly, I recommend it if you pass through Todi.

23/12/2024: INCREDIBLE! My family and I (celiac) stopped here for lunch after trying to find a gluten free restaurant between Perugia and Viterbo and wow am I glad this is what we picked. Everything that we ordered was great. They informed me that almost the entire menu could be made gluten free. We ordered a mixed fried appetizer that included things like sage, apples, zucchini flowers, and rice balls. For our meals we got their carbonara with artichokes gluten free and two orders of the pork with salted caramel sauce. For dessert my dad had the pan seared panettone with homemade cream and limoncello and I had the gluten free no bake cheesecake with wild berry topping. Everything was amazing but the caramel pork really stole the show in all of our opinions and is possibly one of the best dishes we've ever had. I was so lucky to find somewhere so ready to accommodate my gluten free diet and would love to pass back by here in warmer months to enjoy their beautiful terrace!

12/11/2024: I recently visited this charming restaurant for lunch with my mother and brother. I had been here before, and I’m happy to say that the quality and level of service remain just as good, even with new management in place. The young team is kind, friendly, and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The food truly captures the authentic flavors of Umbrian cuisine. Each dish was delicious, reflecting the region's rich culinary traditions. I highly recommend stopping by for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Umbria in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

02/12/2024: We ate truly surprising freshly cooked dishes in this place. The simple things are those that require the most mastery and attention: from the care of the raw materials, from respect for seasonality and authentic flavours. A menu capable of arousing curiosity which was not denied upon tasting. A place with an identity, a beautiful wooden arch in the tree-shaped room, interesting paintings, a gnosce te ipsum warning on the wall. The oracle of Delphi has taken root in a place that knows well who it is, and transmits it through the flavors it offers. Advised. We are foreigners but nevertheless they knew how to make us feel comfortable enough. A gem that we will keep in mind if we find ourselves in the area again.

30/11/2024: Excellent strangozzi with cheese, pepper and truffle, few places... for excellent food connoisseurs. The starter and main course options are also very good. I would highly recommend, friendly service.

18/11/2024: Good restaurant with typical Umbrian dishes. For fairly simple appetizers. I enjoyed typical Umbrian first courses, also with truffles, and the gluten-free pasta option. For the second course I ordered lamb with porcini mushrooms, but I didn't like the quality of the meat and the stew cut, the sauce covered the flavor of the meat. For wine I ordered some very good Umbrian red wines, in particular the Sagrantino. For digestives, little choice. The location is quite isolated and far from the historic center, the room is very simple in style, perhaps a little dated in need of refurnishing. Friendly staff. Average prices. Overall I didn't prefer it, but it was still frequented by families, the room was full.

05/12/2024: Buon locale, quello che abbiamo ordinato tutto buono, servizio veloce e personale cortese, prezzi un po' sopra la media se si ordina a la carte, altrimenti c'è anche il menù turistico

28/11/2024: Ci siamo fermati a Todi di rientro da una visita al nord. Pranzo molto veloce x questioni di tempo ma personale molto gentile e disponibile e sala molto accogliente. Abbiamo assaggiato solo un primo del giorno, davvero molto buono. Spero di tornarci con più calma ed assaggiare altri piatti tipici.

05/10/2024: Great wine, great food, great service. We enjoyed it a lot. The pork and the truffle noodles were amazing and the desserts also special and different from what you normally get even if you order standard dishes. Service was quick and friendly. It's also possible to do a wine tasting from their own vineyard.
