Simple but great tasting food - seasoned well and cooked well, especially the chicken. Looks like it’s where the local chefs hang out to eat. Would bring a family here.

Interesting concept. Kind of a tapas bar, kind of a buffet, kind of an a la carte restaurant. Food is typical of the region. It can't be considered haute cuisine, but it's different and well made. Service is friendly and willing. Staff speak English, so if you're a tourist it's user friendly. Local Canapa beer is excellent. If you know, you know.

Ristorante in stile moderno situato fuori il centro con comodo parcheggio. Menù abbastanza vario e ricercato. Bene anche la presentazione dei piatti. Validi gli accostamenti di sapori. Servizio abbastanza buono. Buona la cantina. Prezzo medio alto ma rapporto qualità prezzo valido.

I stopped for a coffee and took an empty puff pastry croissant to take away, I didn't eat it straight away.... Despite this, several hours later it was still as good and fragrant as it had just been taken, certainly not hot but spectacular. I'll be back

Entrata con banco a vista, con prodotti locali. Menù giornaliero, scelta più tradizionale e meno. Tra i secondi del giorno piccione (non è in foto) e tataki. Dolci un po’ sopra la media con il prezzo, ma giustificato dal sapore e dall’impiattamento. Consigliato il tiramisù e la cheesecake rivisitata ai fichi (entrambi i piatti in foto). Servizio nella media, nota positiva per la simpatia di un cameriere.

The interior of the place is very nice, has good choices of wine and beer and the food is very good. The place is not panoramic but it is convenient being close to the highway. Recommended for aperitifs or quick meals. On Thursdays they have a DJ for a more "lively" aperitif.

06/04/2024: We chose a table near the open fireplace to enjoy the warm environment and the aromas of meat grilled on the embers. Exquisite staff and attentive to our questions. For lunch we had: artichoke gnocchi, grilled chicken and two spectacular lasagna made by Mrs. Silvana...spectacular!! If you are visiting Città della Pieve you must not fail to stop by!!
02/04/2024: Really good and quality food, generous portions, but exaggerated prices! They don't have gluten-free bread and allergens are not indicated on the menu. The bathroom is tiny and has no lighting: you have to leave the door open and use the light in the dressing room. It was also quite cold, and not pleasant while eating.
