14/07/2024: Appena arrivati siamo rimasti piacevolmente stupiti per il luogo suggestivo:vicolini in pietra circondati dalla viva campagna umbra. Abbiamo cenato a un tavolo da cui si godeva di una splendida vista e un'arietta molto gradita(soprattutto in questi giorni di afa). Abbiamo avuto modo di visitare anche l'interno del locale, molto particolare, con tavoli incastonati in una grotta. Ma parliamo di ciò che ci rimane nel cuore:la carne. Il cuoco/proprietario ti porta personalmente a scegliere il tuo pezzo di carne, lo taglia e lo pesa davanti ai tuoi occhi. Ti viene poi servito il tutto su pietra. La carne è veramente speciale, all'esterno croccante e all'interno morbida e succosa, un'esplosione di sapori. Del prezzo non ne parliamo, ne vale sicuramente la pena! 14/08/2024: It is a place that I frequent occasionally, more than ever in the summer as a refuge from the city heat. Compared to last year it seems to me that the pizza dough has gotten worse. Courteous staff who work hard but every now and then you notice that they are beginners. The prices have remained the same but the portions have become a little smaller. However, it remains an excellent alternative to the summer heat

10/05/2024: È stato un ottima esperienza per me e la mia famiglia. lo e i miei familiari eravamo in cerca di un ristorante e la mappa ci ha portati qui. Entrando nel ristorante il servizio è stato molto buono, i camerieri sono molto gentili, con il sorriso sempre in faccia. Il cibo era ottimo, sono stati molto veloci a portarci il cibo, dopo due minuti che avevamo ordinato, stavano già portando il cibo. Poi una cosa spettacolare è il robot! Fighissimo! Assolutamente da vedere! vi consiglio di andarci che la mia esperienza non è stata male e penso sarà pure per voi cosi!!!

The spacious and beautifully decorated rooms offered stunning views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Brando, our host, was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with local tips and recommendations. His attention to detail truly made our stay special. The location is ideal, with easy access to the town’s attractions and lovely restaurants. I can't recommend Palazzo Barbini and Brando enough for a relaxing and authentic Italian getaway!

21/07/2024: Great experience!!! Top marks for this ancient residence, visible efforts to keep the furnishings as original as possible. Congratulations for the welcome, the boy of particular education and courtesy. We were welcomed with all the attention, fresh water upon arrival and a delicious coffee upon check out. Top marks to the cook, and all the staff (of the pasta elementary school). I would return to Castiglione just to taste its dishes again (all superb). The spacious rooms, excellent cleanliness, hydromassage tub. Plus coffee, tea, air conditioning. Our little girl slept great on a top-brand sofa bed. The double room of the imperial suite sent us back in time. It gave me the thrill, especially when waking up with the sound of bells. Very original!!!
