22/08/2025: A restaurant right on the street overlooking the lake. The food was okay, though nothing special. A bit of a style-over-substance affair. On the day we visited, it was impossible to order gluten-free pasta or risotto because they were out of stock. They spent quite a while searching the menu to see what they could prepare, and they settled on steak. Prices were higher than in other restaurants. Service was okay, though not everyone spoke English.

19/08/2025: We visited the restaurant twice during our vacation. The restaurant is located next to many other restaurants on a street directly by the lake. In addition to the original restaurant, there is a kind of extension, slightly elevated, resembling a semi-open outdoor terrace. From there, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and the sunset, whether inside or outside. The service is very good, multilingual, and attentive. However, delays can occur during peak times. The menu is ambitious and combines Italian cuisine with some exotic elements. The quality and presentation of the dishes are very good, but the prices are sometimes excessive. (A starter consisting of three garnished shrimp costs 18 euros.) Update 2025. We had the opportunity to eat in this beautiful restaurant twice again this year. Fortunately, little has changed: the cuisine has maintained its very high standard, and the service is consistently excellent. Due to the location (view of the lake and sunset), the beautiful, slightly elevated terrace, the good service, and the excellent cuisine, I'm happy to upgrade my rating from four stars to five. This restaurant remains my top recommendation for this region.

15/08/2025: I had a wonderful evening at the pizzoteca. The music was perfect for conversation and background music, and the waiters were super helpful. Highly recommended.

02/07/2025: Bad experience, run by incompetent girls, ordered a simple ice cream at the table, a waitress left after I asked for it twice. Asked another one who ended up eating it herself. Finally a third girl arrived who managed to do it (hazelnut and chocolate flavored cone). When I went to pay the cashier was on the phone and seemed annoyed too ... highly discouraged

16/08/2025: Excellent experience, friendly and helpful staff, very fast service, and the food arrived promptly. Highly recommended.

12/08/2025: We're regulars and always come back: the sushi was good and the value was truly excellent. The quality of the fish has changed in the last two months, unfortunately, it's worse. Furthermore, the place could use a refresh; some sections of the walls are damaged and peeling off. We're hoping for some minor repairs, because it won't last long like this!

14/07/2025: Due to the weather, we had to eat inside. The hygienic conditions were appalling. I'm surprised there were never any checks. Cobwebs everywhere, power outlets and loose wires, a dog stranded at the entrance, wet and dirty, a dirty refrigerator door, and the wait staff in sandals and with their hair down! The food quality is comparable to a cafeteria, but that's still overlooked because the atmosphere is so appetizing. Unfortunately, I was a guest, so I couldn't leave... The perfect place for those who only care about spending little and filling their stomachs regardless of what they eat. I think it's a no-go!

08/07/2025: The manager is unhelpful and arrogant. The food is adequate. I don't recommend it.

21/08/2025: A few days' trip to Umbria, we visited Spello one afternoon and decided to stay for dinner that evening. I browsed around and chose Frantoio to try the pizza. We were warmly welcomed (perhaps the initial welcome was a bit overwhelming), we sat down and ordered. The wait was relatively short, and the pizza was excellent, both in presentation and flavor. We finished with dessert, coffee, and a nice truffle liqueur. The bill was also reasonable, despite there being four of us. A must try!

18/08/2025: The food was good. The staff was friendly, but one thing I didn't like was that they brought all the dishes at once. People go to restaurants to talk and eat slowly; if I were in a hurry, I would have stopped at a fast food restaurant.

21/03/2025: Bar al centro del paese, con parcheggio vicino e spazio esterno, personale cordiale con servizio semplice ma accogliente; pizza prodotta nel proprio piccolo laboratorio come alcuni prodotti, dolci o salati, tipici che è possibile trovare nei periodi di festività (sia locali che nazionali) importanti.

28/05/2025: Had breakfast. The environment has no personality. That something to say wow. The lady at the counter is very kind. The offer of products is poor.

09/04/2025: Well. I leave this review to touch on essential points. First: I am presented with the paperless menu, orally. Second: I have a chicken breast, some canned beans and some very poor wine. On the profile the range is 10-20 euros, which presupposes a menu including a second course at 20. Bulgarian location, two pieces of chicken and a small plate of beans taken out of a Lidl box, total cost 23 euros. Thought: 23 is nothing but catching the chicken on duty in a place where 6 people for lunch is a luxury, for some people it is a must. I can send a complete list where with 20 euros, itinerant workers eat great. Rating 2. And I will review on the restaurant publication in which I write, negative mention for this place

22/08/2025: The owner????? very nice......clearly my comment is ironic!!!!! He attacked me because I was taking a photo!!!! Learn some manners because tourists are not infinite!!!! They say...as long as the boat goes......then who knows......

30/06/2025: We went for an aperitif, the very knowledgeable waiter explained the wines of the area to us and recommended them based on our tastes. We had a good time, and the prices are absolutely in line with the area. 2 glasses, one for 5 euros, the other for 6.

08/06/2025: I ordered the pizza and I think it will be the last time it happens...the pizza is really bad the edges are harder than a crekars and thin as a leaf and the price is really exaggerated for what it is....everything is really really bad

31/08/2025: In the historic center of Città della Pieve, you can't beat the RISTORANTE SILVANA Fabulous traditional Umbrian-Tuscan cuisine. I ate there with friends, and besides the fantastic food and wine, it was a lifetime experience. Highly recommended.

02/08/2025: Excellent food with wonderfully rich flavors, friendly staff who explain the dishes well, and a charming interior. Authentic cuisine with real "nonnas" who prepare the food. Only the chairs inside weren't 100% comfortable, so 9.9/10

19/08/2025: Good burgers and a bath towel with a Happy Meal. Super funny.

18/08/2025: Unfortunately, on several occasions I've found myself with the wrong food, cold food, and long waits. Highly discouraged.
