16/09/2025: A small, but well-kept and charming place, with a touch of blue that creates a lovely atmosphere. In Piedilugo, I wanted to try lake dishes, and that's exactly what I was looking for! I'm not a fan of freshwater fish, but I found the dishes to be well-crafted, well-presented, and full of character. The wine cellar offers only a few local wines; I'd recommend expanding the selection. The bar offers a nice selection of products and a quality ice cream parlor. There's a small flaw I'd like to point out to the owners so they can improve their establishment: the wine is pressed at the table and left there by the waitress; have it poured, tasted, and then wait for the okay to serve it. Furthermore, the delicious seafood and lake appetizer offers many varieties of fish prepared in various ways, but if the waiter doesn't explain what's on my plate, I don't know what I'm eating, especially since it's not even written on the menu. But as I said, these are small flaws that, if improved, will allow the customer to better enjoy the service and the meal. Regardless, I appreciate it!

31/10/2025: Last night, my wife and I made a last-minute decision to go out for pizza. After visiting several pizzerias—all fully booked—I remembered a place I'd known for years: the pizzeria "Le Vigne" in Piano di Tremestieri Etneo, right next to the little field where my children used to gather to play soccer years ago. When we arrived, we were immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere. The place is very well-kept, with the option of eating inside or outside. They welcomed us with great kindness, making us feel immediately at ease, almost as if we were at home. The staff—two women and a man—were always friendly, helpful, and smiling. We even had a personal chat with one of the waitresses about her family and children, which made the experience even more pleasant and personal. The service was quick, attentive, and meticulously executed. But the real star was the pizza: countless variations on the menu, each more inviting than the last. We chose two—one with sausage and broccoli rabe, the other with confit tomatoes—and, as is our custom, we split them in half to enjoy both. The pizzas were large enough to pop off the plate, thin and incredibly light: beautiful to look at and even better to eat. They didn't leave us thirsty or feeling bloated or heavy. Curious to learn more, I went to check out the oven. There I met Roman, the pizza chef: a friendly, polite, and enthusiastic Bangladeshi. While he worked, he explained to me—in a perfect mix of Italian and Sicilian!—that the pizza dough is "completely yeast-free." The dough is prepared with at least 72 hours of maturation, and once it's finished, they don't make any more: they prefer to close rather than lower the quality, unlike other pizzerias that replace the dough with "quicker" and heavier versions. I also appreciated the dedication of the owner, who personally works in the kitchen. Exchanging a few words with her, I sensed the genuine love she puts into her work: an invisible yet essential ingredient. In conclusion, I highly recommend Pizzeria "Le Vigne": if you're looking for a place to eat excellent pizza in a family-friendly, relaxed, and attentive atmosphere, all you need to do is make a reservation. I'm sure that, like us, you'll happily return... and recommend it to friends and family.

This hotel has been a favorite with me since I was a child, and now, as parents, we feel the same enthusiasm in our children: They want to return immediately! You can tell you're welcome here, even as a child. The location is top-notch and a great starting point for many things to do in the region or in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The staff is extremely well-trained and a motivated part of this successful concept. A place that creates memories and connects generations. 💫

08/11/2025: Avoid. We ordered pasta with porcini mushrooms and received a dish topped with a mix of mushrooms preserved in oil from a jar, which tasted sour and unappealing. To our surprise, the owner confirmed that it's normal for them to use these mushrooms in both pasta dishes and on pizza. Honestly, from a restaurant in Spoleto, I expected fresh or at least frozen mushrooms, certainly not preserved in oil. A real shame, because in an area so rich in good products, one expects much more care and respect for the local cuisine. I don't recommend it and I won't return. One star because you can't get less.

28/09/2025: I often go for lunch. The place is clean and welcoming. The staff is kind and friendly. The food is excellent, well-prepared, and beautifully served. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

12/08/2025: I went for breakfast: a cappuccino, a juice, two croissants, a half bottle of water, total 11 euros. I thought it was over-informed; three cappuccinos had been issued instead of one. I went back, pointed out the mistake, they apologized, and told me the total was actually 8 euros and 20 cents. They gave me change for 2 euros and 20 cents. Later, I checked the receipt and realized a cappuccino cost 1.40, so I should have received 2 euros and 80 cents. But given my carelessness, I thought: "Well, that's how it went!" I went home, emptied my wallet of coins, and noticed that in the change I received—I should point out that I only made that one purchase that day—there was a coin that looked like a two-euro coin. In reality, it's the famous Thai Baht (see photo), which are mistaken for two Italian euros because they're very similar, but are only worth 0.27 cents! My experience at this place was negative. I believe that good customer service should include, in addition to good product quality, reliability and customer service, which unfortunately I didn't find here. Never again!!

16/11/2025: It's hard to define this place! I recommend coming even just to tour the various rooms, meticulously decorated by the owner in antique, baroque, gothic, Victorian styles, and more. The Arabian-inspired room is fantastic, with Kasbah-style mirrors, carpets, and oriental decorations! The host Cesare is a great character, and his hospitality makes you feel at home. He's always available for a chat! Quality food, delicious porcini strangozzi, and delicious pizza! Tiramisu deconstructed with a Nutella surprise inside! Nice selection of wines. In Spello, you'll love it here!
