09/11/2025: Everything was good, warm and welcoming environment.

06/11/2025: I've been frequenting this refuge since I was a child, and under the old management, the experience was always excellent. I returned last Sunday, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered the refuge's appetizer, a mixed platter: the quality of the cured meats left me dissatisfied, far from the Umbrian standards I was accustomed to. On the other hand, the bean soup that accompanied the dish was good and well-prepared. After the appetizer, however, the wait for the main course—a mixed grill—was interminable: I sat down at 2:00 PM and left at 4:15 PM. I'll leave you to judge the quality of the service.

04/12/2025: A small restaurant just steps from the Università per Stranieri and therefore the historic city center. It doesn't look like much! A cozy atmosphere and lovely owners, authentic cuisine and generous portions—enough to satisfy all the senses at a very affordable price.

20/11/2025: A restaurant with a typical rustic atmosphere, offering traditional cuisine at reasonable prices. A wonderful experience.

15/09/2025: A magnificent, peaceful location in the open countryside, somewhat isolated in the Umbrian countryside near Gualdo Tadino, Nocera Umbra, and Assisi. It offers a splendid view of the Umbrian-Marche Apennines. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is top-notch, and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Compliments to the management and all the staff.

26/05/2025: Excellent welcome, Marcus instructed us on all the activities of the monastery and fully satisfied all our needs giving us courtesy and sympathy, you can breathe peace and serenity in this Monastery the view it offers on the hill is beautiful. Equipped with a swimming pool and a wellness center with calidarium and tiepidarium excellent massages and treatments with products of their own production. The rooms are unique with antique furnishings that recall the atmosphere of the monastery, comfortable beds. The food is excellent the vegetables are grown on site, excellent service offered. You can taste an excellent beer of their own production the master brewer is available until late afternoon. The monastery is located 30 minutes by car from the beautiful Assisi.

10/10/2025: I went there for dinner. The truffle strangozzi was mediocre and the portion ridiculous. Eggplant parmigiana was both shameful and ridiculous. The house wine was good. The service was neither good nor bad. By far the worst place I ate in Umbria.

21/09/2025: Stunning location surrounded by greenery. Quality food and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended for anyone passing through the area.

27/11/2025: This was the most delicious restaurant I ate at during my trip to Italy. The risotto was simple yet delicious, and the scaloppine al pepe verde was impressive.

23/11/2025: Located in the center of Assisi, a few steps from the Matteotti parking lot, this restaurant is quite large with plenty of seating. Extensive and tasty menu, from appetizers to dessert, including pizza and pinsa with a variety of flavors. Very good food, generous portions, and average, yet reasonably priced. Friendly staff, good service.

11/09/2025: Excellent restaurant! Delicious handmade pasta dishes, and the maccheroncini alla norcina are out of this world. Just a few dishes, but very good. Highly recommended.

03/08/2025: The facility is very large and has all the amenities, but it's very neglected. The dirt court is horrendous, with no dirt and lots of holes. The changing rooms are dirty. A month ago, I played a tournament and forgot a sweatshirt. I called and they assured me the caretaker had put it aside. Yesterday, my son stopped by on his way back from Rome, and the sweatshirt was gone. The conversation with the club secretary was damaging. She claimed her caretakers don't steal, but she basically blamed the club's regulars, saying, "Someone must have liked it and taken it."

14/07/2025: A nice tennis club, a nice clubhouse and a nice atmosphere, nice and very quiet golf course, very nice courses, they could be kept a little better, I found crooked lines and a lack of earth in some parts, the net in my opinion was not the right size even though I played a fit tournament, for the rest, nice changing rooms, nice atmosphere and nice people

10/09/2025: Excellent food at reasonable prices. Efficient and friendly service. A few updates to certain areas, such as the entrance booth and the wood paneling on the wall, would be nice. Otherwise, the place is very quaint.

08/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in Orvieto. The carbonara is always excellent and the portions are generous. The typical Umbrian prosciutto and sautéed chicory are also delicious. A big thank you to the owner, also for his tourist tips. Definitely worth a try.

07/08/2025: A bar with a trattoria-like feel, certainly well-stocked with drinks. The strong point, or rather, the point that should be strong, is the pizza by the slice. Personally, and this opinion remains, I didn't find it any different from other competitors in the area; you can really taste the yeast. It must be said that the toppings on some of the options are very generous. What definitely turned me off was the persistence of three blowflies wandering around the various slices, which were gently and calmly pushed aside by the employee with a peel. Could this have been an isolated incident?

02/08/2025: In addition to the bar, there is also a very good pizza place... and a restaurant where you can eat very well, even snails, for those who love something a little more special. The waitress is excellent.

28/10/2025: It was a fantastic experience having lunch at this inn! We met in Orvieto for a family lunch, and despite there being 17 of us, a last-minute reservation, we were greeted warmly and sweetly. The waitress Angy smiled at us from start to finish, truly pampering us the entire time, making us feel at home, and the cook delighted us with traditional dishes that were nothing short of fabulous! The dishes were tasty and beautifully served; we sampled the typical cured meats and cheeses accompanied by exceptional focaccia. Afterwards, we ordered various first courses, and the mushroom and truffle ones were truly out of this world, with an indescribable flavor, not to mention the enormous portions. The final treat was the homemade desserts, which made everything even more special and satisfying. Excellent value. A true example of fine dining!! I highly recommend it.

16/10/2025: I recently visited this restaurant and had an overall positive experience. The dishes were good and satisfying, though not particularly refined or innovative. The menu is limited. The presentation was simple, but the flavors were well-balanced and pleasant. The restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, ideal for a dinner with friends or family.

22/10/2025: Mixed antipasto with cold cuts from supermarket trays, with rancid capocollo. Two pizzas: Neapolitan and smoked, edible with speck from the smoked supermarket trays. Unwelcoming atmosphere. 1 beer and water, I think tap water. €40. Too much.

17/10/2025: Not what you would expect from an italian establishment. Server messed up my order. Came for pizza but they don't serve it for lunch, even if it's not specified anywhere. A bit expensive for what they offer. I will not return.

04/11/2025: An excellent and historic pastry shop in Terni. The best not only in Umbria but among the best in Italy. The staff is young and welcoming.

21/09/2025: Extremely helpful, courteous, punctual, and the quality is unsurpassed. The self-service checkout guarantees hygiene. Highly recommended.
