However, the business's true strength is the dry, rough, essential, and frank, almost rude, nature of some of the staff. I came here specifically, and the entrance is very discreet, but it's worth it. It's mostly locals who come here, at least when I was there.

07/09/2025: We came here because of the many good reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We should have read the latest reviews. Since the new owner changed hands in April 2025, nothing seems to be the same anymore. Whereas large portions used to be offered at a reasonable price, it's now the other way around. The value for money is completely out of place. The mixed grill or the truffle pasta used to cost €11 and now cost €16, a price increase of 45%. On my grill plate were a sausage, two slices of bacon, and two tiny chops. No small side dish, nothing extra, not even an onion ring or a slice of tomato. Even the once highly praised freshly toasted bread seems to have lost some of its quality; at least ours was hard and nothing special. The €12 coperto for four people rounds out the visit. All in all, in my opinion, the long journey is no longer worth it. We wouldn't come here again. If the value for money doesn't improve, I fear more and more visitors will stay away.
