04/12/2025: I came in with a friend for a simple aperitif, everything was fine until, after ordering a wine and a spritz, I asked if there were any appetizers. The bartender looked at me annoyed, clearly reticent, and then finally handed me a paltry bowl of chips (no olives, no taralli)—it was like I'd asked for gold. I won't be back.

06/07/2025: We came in to consume something. Alcohol cannot be served, coffee cannot because the machine had been cleaned. We ask to at least use the bathroom for an emergency, they answer "the bathroom is for customers". I would have gladly been your customer but you denied us the things we asked for. I do not ask for much, but at least a minimum of solidarity for a need. Congratulations

11/10/2025: Family dinner at a simple, welcoming, and unique place, but without frills. We ordered fish, which was well-cooked and tasty without too much seasoning. The young woman who served us was very friendly and polite, and recommended a good wine, describing all the ingredients with great knowledge. A very down-to-earth place without compromising on quality. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes, or perhaps the pizza, sliced.

04/10/2025: For tourists! The staff were very friendly. We had a reservation for 2 pm and were seated as soon as we arrived. The restaurant is in the center of Assisi, overlooking a beautiful square if you eat outside. We ate inside, there were two of us, especially on the feast of St. Francis. We had two appetizers: cold cuts and cheese, and bruschetta. Let's say the quality was adequate. As for the entrees, I have to comment on the quality of the grill; it was decent and well-cooked. We had two first courses: fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and another truffle dish. The mushroom and truffle sauce was sparse, but there was a lot of butter and pepper. For €18, I wasn't expecting a prized truffle, but at least it was fragrant. The mushrooms were good, although very few, and the portions were adequate. The restaurant is geared toward one-touch tourism. The dishes aren't those in the photos, and some of the restaurant photos look like they're from another location; perhaps they have two restaurants. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to digest. Price: €67 for a bottle of water, two covers, two appetizers, and two first courses. I give it three stars for the kindness and service, and in any case, you're in the historic center. For food 2 I don't want to add anything else.

21/07/2025: Beautiful village, clean and fresh apartments, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. There are two lovely pools to relax in, and the restaurant offers excellent and varied dishes. Breakfast is also very varied and plentiful. It was a truly lovely stay, albeit unfortunately short.

07/11/2025: We were looking for a place to stop for lunch along the way and decided to stop here last minute! Despite the time (2:30 PM), they welcomed us and served us kindly. We chose a variety of meals, including first and second courses, all delicious and with generous portions!

02/11/2025: Superb food in a quaint and well-kept restaurant! It's definitely worth it, and we'll definitely be back! The strengozzi with spicy sauce and salted ricotta are amazing! And everything was delicious! Well done!

06/12/2025: Overall, a nice restaurant. Although some things could use some work, such as the dining room service, which I found unprofessional. The dishes we were served were good, but my risotto was decidedly too sweet. The prices are definitely too high for the type of cuisine they offer. The location is very beautiful, but it's not enough to make up for the rest. The potential is there, but some things could be improved.

13/09/2025: Expectations were not met given the setting of the adjacent Castello (hotel). The hotel's location is very beautiful and offers a spectacular view, but the restaurant is less so, although pleasant enough. The waiters were kind and friendly, but the food, in some dishes, was a bit tired (with wilted accompanying vegetables).

12/06/2025: Michelangelo Hotel Restaurant, for what my experience was I can only give 5 stars. Only flaw, the waitress could not open the bottle of red, passable forgiveness. Difficult to find a restaurant inside a hotel that works.

10/06/2025: Very nice place with a beautiful terrace on the roof of a hotel. The food unfortunately, I hope it was just a coincidence, did not live up to the location and the reviews. The dishes were almost tasteless, perhaps due to the raw materials, and three plates of pasta were full of oil, really excessive. As an appetizer we had a cutting board, very good but perhaps meager, and a potato cake with turmeric pecorino cream, which cream was too full of turmeric which made it unpleasant. As for the first courses: the ciriole which should have been a little spicy were not at all and the tomato was flavorless; the pasta with truffle was good but there was an excessive amount of oil; the ciriole with asparagus turned out to be a pasta with tomato and asparagus tasteless and on the menu it was not even written that they were with tomato. The only good thing were the ravioli. Added to all this is an excessively slow service and too high prices.

03/09/2025: The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pizza was very good for those who love Umbrian-style pizza—not thick, so to speak. And although I prefer the classic Neapolitan style, I found it good here, even if thin, as is customary here in Umbria.

The dough is prepared using tried-and-true recipes, baked perfectly, and the ingredients are fresh and carefully selected. The service is courteous and efficient. The interior is simple yet cozy. A perfect place for a quick meal or an informal meeting.
