13/12/2025: The croissants might be considered decent, but the courtesy has been lost in the dough... they only greet people they know and don't give the right welcome to those who aren't around much. Being completely ignored while the staff chats away isn't pleasant, especially if it's early in the morning when you should really start the day with a warm hello and a smile. To conclude, after paying, there's no thank you or goodbye...scandalous!!!! The cuisine strikes a truly successful balance between tradition and innovation: authentic, recognizable dishes, yet always lightened and intelligently revisited, without ever losing their identity. The quality of the ingredients is evident, as is the constant care taken in preparation. The ambience is one of its strengths: a perfect balance between a refined trattoria and a high-end restaurant, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. It's also very well attended, which contributes to the elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere. The service is always top-notch: efficient, attentive, and with that spontaneous warmth that puts you at ease without being intrusive. A reliable restaurant, where you eat well in a relaxed atmosphere that has never disappointed over time.

08/03/2026: The rooms are in a farmhouse style, basic but with beautiful views. The spa, although not open in high season, could be better maintained, especially the outdoor areas. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good.

02/11/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, shame about the pizza. The photo shows only one of the two pizzas we ordered, and both were undercooked. Each slice of pizza, though well-topped, tended to fall apart due to the softness and undercooking of the dough. It was very difficult to digest throughout the evening and into the night. I'm sorry, but we won't be back!

08/12/2025: There's an almost philosophical passion behind a project as simple as it is complex: a wine shop. I didn't choose this place randomly, but wanted to capture something through photos, the website, and reviews, because it can often happen that you waste your money. Which means you might drink very well, but without a decent human touch—at least for us. The owner isn't a pushy, overbearing person, quite the opposite. He can approach you slowly and carefully, as long as you let him, and that's not easy. He knows exactly what he's selling, explaining it discreetly but with evident passion. I love genuinely heartfelt stories, and despite our short stay, we were captivated. Wines can be paired with small delicacies or a simple but never banal bruschetta with olive oil, especially if all the ingredients are excellent. Clearly, the wines he suggested were not only excellent but also surprising. A delightful Friday evening before dinner, which we would have extended indefinitely. Thank you so much.

14/10/2025: I had a chicken cutlet and salad sandwich. The cutlet was completely raw and the breading was white. The salad, if we can call it that, was a tiny, dry leaf, probably very old. But if that were the only problem, the bartender was also rude.

02/01/2026: My daughter went to this facility, "if you can call it that," for New Year's Eve. The kids were housed in a tent in the cold—I should point out that at 8:30 pm it was -2.5 degrees Celsius, I don't dare think of any later—warmed by a small heater, and with cockroaches and spiders in the bathroom.

24/09/2025: We only tried the restaurant; we didn't stay. The food was good, nothing exceptional. The only downside was that everything was cold, and the appetizers were cold, including the fried flowers. The pasta arrived cold, and so did the meat. It's inexplicable, considering there were only five of us and a couple. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the lake, and free parking.

04/04/2026: My husband and I went a few months ago on someone's recommendation. I don't know if we had the wrong night, but we can certainly say it's the worst place we've ever been to, absolutely. The menu includes spaghetti with various sauces, tagliatelle with ragù, and penne all'arrabbiata. They arrive overcooked and sticky, four at a time. There are no main courses on the menu. We ask the waitress, who says there aren't any?!? We ask for truffle crostini and other things I can't remember. They hand us a large slice of that oval bread you buy at Lidl in a plastic bag, cut into six pieces, smeared with awful sauces so thin they barely cover the bread in some places. The finishing touch? While my husband waits to pay at the register, I ask for a coffee. They serve it to me by passing the cup and saucer over the head of another customer in line. A unique experience, that's for sure.

24/03/2026: We arrived at 2:00 and were served very early. The staff was attentive! A little cold inside! The portions were very salty (the first courses) and very small. The cacio e pepe was a mere 50g. The tortelli with mushrooms were good, and the main course of Chianina beef and polenta (too little) was very good. Friendly staff.

02/03/2026: Carefully presented dishes, prepared with authentic ingredients. We sampled the selection of cured meats, the wild boar mortadella with focaccia and fried artichokes. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù (exquisite, delicate yet intense), and their winter minestrone. To finish, a reinterpretation of tiramisu (try it only if you're willing to forgo real tiramisu), different, original, and excellent. The local wine was a blend of excellent reds. Everything was beautifully served by a young, very kind and attentive waiter. Il Miglio is, in my opinion, a benchmark for style and good taste in Orvieto.

19/02/2026: This upscale restaurant was incredibly friendly and satisfying, with a completely new menu. Everything on the menu was delicious, and even the appetizer bread and butter was the best I've had in Italy. They even asked if I'd like a cold water from the fridge, and they even provided extra appetizers and cutlery for each meal. I highly recommend the fried calamari!

26/01/2026: Terrible. A platter with four slices of prosciutto, four slices of capocollo, and two pieces of cheese with honey and mustard, 27 euros...kudos to you for the theft. Never again. Plus, the waitresses were incredibly rude.

01/01/2026: Good food, top-notch service, a welcoming but chilly atmosphere (from the cold). Unfortunately, lunch wasn't at all peaceful; in fact, it was downright annoying, as the door to the dining room (which led outside, where it was about 2°C) was left wide open by almost all the waitresses. Even though every time they passed, whether entering or leaving, I got up to close it and asked them to do the same, there was no way we could eat without freezing or having to run after them to close the door. Between my partner and I, we got up to close it dozens of times. But the thing that bothered us most was something else: when we got to the cashier to pay, we asked if everything was okay. When we mentioned the problem, we were told that since the kitchens are outside, it's normal for the door to be open to get through. After clarifying that it wasn't the crowds that were bothering us, but the fact that the door was left wide open all the time, we weren't offered any apologies; in fact, the girl at the register seemed almost annoyed by our observation. A word of advice: if you really want to eat here when it's cold outside, make sure you stay well away from the front door.
