05/05/2026: The staff wasn't very polite; it was a busy day, and the waiter couldn't keep up with everyone, and they were reluctant to answer questions. We had to wait a long time. The food wasn't bad, as is everywhere in Umbria.

08/01/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming. The menu is interesting, but they don't serve you what's listed, limiting your choice to the daily special. The dishes are undoubtedly excellent, but expensive and not particularly large. Very limited variety. The service is merely acceptable. You walk in and feel like you're being a nuisance. Personally, I won't be returning.

31/03/2026: Pizzas ordered for 8:10 PM. When we arrived at 8:05 PM, the cashier told us the order was ready, then began preparing it right before our eyes, and by 8:25 PM, the pizzas were in the oven; they probably included the on-the-spot preparation for a complete experience: lucky us!

13/03/2026: We've been regular customers at least once a week since we moved here... Young, enthusiastic, friendly guys, and the pizza is always thin and freshly made... A detail not to be underestimated because in other takeaway pizzerias, sometimes a 2-minute delay is enough and you find yourself with pizzas already in the box lukewarm...

04/04/2026: My husband and I went a few months ago on someone's recommendation. I don't know if we had the wrong night, but we can certainly say it's the worst place we've ever been to, absolutely. The menu includes spaghetti with various sauces, tagliatelle with ragù, and penne all'arrabbiata. They arrive overcooked and sticky, four at a time. There are no main courses on the menu. We ask the waitress, who says there aren't any?!? We ask for truffle crostini and other things I can't remember. They hand us a large slice of that oval bread you buy at Lidl in a plastic bag, cut into six pieces, smeared with awful sauces so thin they barely cover the bread in some places. The finishing touch? While my husband waits to pay at the register, I ask for a coffee. They serve it to me by passing the cup and saucer over the head of another customer in line. A unique experience, that's for sure.

20/01/2026: A typical provincial restaurant where you eat very well in a welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very good and helpful with everyone, especially with small children.

06/12/2025: I liked the very attentive service, the nice room but the flaws are that the mattresses and pillows are uncomfortable then the food is poor I tasted the meat and I have to say the quality is questionable then what can I say anyway if I have to spend three days with friends having fun anyway I don't think about these details

08/05/2026: So far, every single time I've arrived it has been closed although the website says it is open. (Owner addressed this, review following) I was able to make it and I must say I cannot complain about a single thing. My wife and I shared 3 separate dishes and everything was very delicious. The chef came out as each dish was delivered and checked how everything came out. The staff was very friendly, and although our Italian was very limited they never got frustrated and ensured we got what we wanted. I throughly enjoyed the experience.

22/03/2026: I stayed here with my family for one night. I'm giving it two stars only because of the beautiful facility. We may have been unlucky, but the night we arrived, the breakfast room (below our room) had been rented out to outsiders for a birthday party. There was a lot of noise, tables and chairs were being moved, and children ran up to the rooms, knocking on our guests' doors. This went on until 1 a.m., and the owner was not supervising them. We'll draw a veil over the breakfast. I don't understand the 10/10 reviews for the abundant breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8 to 9 a.m., and you come down at 8:35 to find empty plates with leftovers from other guests, without refilling. The selection was very limited, except for an empty tart plate, an empty chocolate bundt cake plate, and two other plates with leftover slices of fruit bundt cake. Half-empty juice jugs, one yogurt, and industrial-strength biscuits packaged in sachets. That's the selection. It's a shame because the structure could offer more.

09/12/2025: We suffered from the cold, we couldn't even take a shower in the bathroom, the breakfast was terrible, everything was pre-packaged, even the juices from the supermarket and there was nothing local, a farmhouse should serve something from the area.

03/05/2026: This restaurant in the heart of Spello is a great place to dine. We immediately noticed the welcoming atmosphere and the very friendly staff, but the food was the biggest letdown. We ordered three first courses, including a carbonara and a ravioli with cream of peas. We didn't finish any of the first courses, they were all completely lacking in flavor. It's a shame, because the location is truly worth it, but the value for money (for three first courses, drinks, and liqueurs, €73) suffers significantly if the cuisine doesn't match the attention to detail shown in the hospitality.

12/04/2026: The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path. The food and portions are average, and the prices are probably also worth paying for. The outside view is breathtaking and relaxing. The service is a bit distracted, room for improvement. The interior is also beautiful and historic.

25/11/2025: I went with my family this morning for breakfast. The place is beautiful and in a great location, but the staff was definitely rude and unfriendly. The coffee was average, nothing special, the tables were dirty, and the service was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it.

02/01/2026: Terrible experience. (Let's start by assuming I love raw sushi.) The sashimi is ridiculous: tiny, unappealing pieces. The fried food is inedible, with a strong smell of old oil that completely ruins the dish. The only redeeming feature is the noodles, which are quite well made, but they don't justify the rest. The worst part is that the last two times I've been very ill, with severe stomach pain after eating here. It can't be a coincidence. Considering the quality of the food and the problems I've had, I strongly advise against it. I won't be returning; for €14 for lunch, it's highly advisable to spend more and eat at other all-you-can-eat restaurants (even in the city).

15/09/2025: I went there for aperitivo on Sunday evening and I have to say I really liked the atmosphere inside, which was very unique. A friendly and very courteous woman served us. The quality is good, and it's more than enough for spending an hour in good company.

24/11/2025: They should freshen up the place. The furniture is starting to look old. Worn out. Everything else is fine. The prices are also fair. To the fateful question, "Would you go back?", the answer is undoubtedly YES every time I can.
