04/05/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch on April 30th. The menu is almost entirely lake fish, but unfortunately lake fish was not available, so the choice was very limited. The attention of this restaurant seems to be out of place. When ordering, I point out that I am allergic to onion and I am assured that the dishes ordered do not contain it. Shortly afterwards I am served a platter of cold cuts and cheeses with a bruschetta of livers and onions. I point it out, I'm not saying receive an apology but at least propose an alternative bruschetta... but nothing. My wife takes the grilled tuna asking for it to be well cooked, however the chef serves it undercooked stating that prolonged cooking would have dried it out too much. At that moment he felt a strange sensation in his mouth. Two hours after the meal my wife feels unwell and all the symptoms are food poisoning (histamine in poorly preserved tuna), i.e. redness on the face, red eyes, spots on the body, tachycardia, weakness, dysentery, confirmed by the doctor who prescribes her an antihistamine, cortisone and recommends that she go to the doctor's office. I promptly notified the restaurant who thanked me for the report and informed me that it was not possible to correlate the two things since other people had eaten the same thing without having had any problems. He doesn't even offer to reimburse the meal, knowing full well that he is subject to prosecution, which we are considering. May 1st bridge ruined. Obviously we won't be returning again.

09/02/2025: We ordered 2 appetizers (good), 2 first courses and a side dish, potatoes. The fish sauce was "a teaspoon" of fish, the side dish arrived after the first one i.e. a end of dinner and cold! When I pointed this out and asked for it to be reheated, I was told that they serve it that way too, instead of apologizing for what happened and the delay in the delivery. At this point we ran out of potatoes, skipped the desserts, coffee and paid €66

08/06/2025: Ieri mattina sono stata con una mia amica a dare colazione alla sede vicino al Pian di Massiano a Perugia. Avevo chiesto un cappuccino senza lattosio e un caffè lungo. Dopo un attesa di circa 20 minuti al banco bar, mi viene passato solo il caffè. Visto che il cappuccino non arrivava e il caffè si raffredava, ho chiesto se era possibile avere anche il cappuccino. Il ragazzo che faceva i caffè ha detto che non è un obbligo andare a fare colazione lì.... Per di più, alcuni giorni prima ero stata sempre per fare colazione lì e, purtroppo per sbaglio, una cameriera ha fatto cadere un vassoio con delle tazzine e piattini di caffè, rompendoli. Purtroppo può capitare e la ragazza ha chiesto scusa però lo stesso ragazzo che fa i caffè ha cominciato a urlarli addosso, davanti a tutti i clienti, che gli avrebbe trattenuto dallo stipendio il costo dei piattini e delle tazzine rotte. I prodotti sono ottimi però il personale, soprattutto il ragazzo che fa i caffè la mattina, è maleducato e sgarbato....

20/05/2025: Frequento Menchetti da alcuni mesi: principalmente per la colazione, ma sono passata anche per l'aperitivo qualche volta. Finalmente ho capito perchè ci sia sempre così tanta gente: i prodotti da forno sono molto buoni; in particolare i cornetti, i maritozzi e la pizza alla pala. Il caffè e il cappuccino sono fatti bene, meno i drink. Prezzi medi: una colazione "classica" viene sui 3 euro. Il vero neo di questo locale è lo staff: spesso poco disponibile e scostante, è un peccato perchè i prodotti meritano tanto. Ampio parcheggio disponibile, ma dato l'enorme afflusso di clienti si fatica a trovare un posto.

03/05/2025: I can't give less than one star 142 euros for 6 poorly filled text cakes an undercooked chicken leg, in fact it was rare a salad and a 12 euro menu to avoid

02/01/2025: They sat us down to eat and after a while they invited us to leave because "there were no free tables" for the people who were arriving. We got up and before leaving we went to the bathroom, discovering that downstairs there was a completely free room, used for eating. Rude owner! Change seats.

20/05/2025: If we could give zero stars we would. We have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant in Italy - I don’t know where to start. The waitresses were surly and the food worse. We had a lasagne which looked as though it had been microwaved more than once - the edges were hard and black and totally inedible. The carbonara was spaghetti with a drizzle of egg and fatty ham you had to search for, it was barely warm. The bread was stale and hard. Our two meals arrived about 10 minutes apart. Cash only which we only found out at the last minute, we nearly walked away but will take this as a lesson learned, not to trust what you think might be a restaurant trying to make a living and serve their customers. Please do not repeat our mistake and stay away.

14/05/2025: Serveuse désagréable, nourriture pas terrible, vérifier vos additions. Ce restaurant est un attrape touristes. À éviter.

02/06/2025: Extremely long waiting times, with dishes arriving cold and randomly from orders from our neighbors at the table. Chaos reigns supreme

01/06/2025: Slow and disorganized service. Tasteless tagliatelle with truffle. Definitely not recommended

09/06/2025: A cappuccino for €4.50 is a real steal, plus the staff was unpleasant and rude. Don't set foot there!

05/06/2025: If I could give less than one star, I would! 3 coffees, 1 cappuccino and a bottle of water 18.50 euros! Honestly they really take advantage! 6 euros a 1.5 liter bottle of water. Speechless. Stay away from this place!

11/06/2025: DON'T GO! Being located in the plaza suggests it's a good place. THEY CHARGED US FOR A GLASS OF WATER I ordered with my coffee. It was disrespectful; they didn't even inform me they would charge me for it.

07/06/2025: I went with my friends to this bar for breakfast and the experience was terrible. We were attacked by pigeons that even climbed on our table and we were therefore forced to leave. Also unpleasant food, fruit juice served hot at a modest price of €4 ... paying €6 for a juice and a croissant, in conditions like that, is unacceptable

05/05/2025: We needed hot water to prepare our grandson's soup and they immediately took care of giving us the best service, without asking us anything. Then, calmly, we consumed some good croissant and coffee products. Thank you !

21/02/2025: I stopped for breakfast... at first one of the three sales assistants didn't take me into consideration even though I was in front of her, so I say "good morning" to her and at that point she notices me. Ok, I order a cappuccino accompanied by a croissant, so far "everything normal". They serve me the cappuccino... it was all foam and with a thousand bubbles (for those who have already done this job or a coffee making course understand what it means) at that point I ask if you could kindly do it again and at that point she, completely annoyed, decides to do it again.... Ladies and gentlemen, nothing to say... I can have coffee with milk at home with my grandfather in the morning... I will never set foot in this bar/cafe again. Personally unqualified, rude and rude.

08/06/2025: Orribile, sporco e il cibo immangiabile 0————- non andateci piatti surgelati, costoso per qualità pari allo zero l’unica cosa buona era la cortesia del personale non consigliato e non andateci per nessun motivo

06/06/2025: Pessima esperienza, cibo scarsissima qualità è molto caro rispetto alla media costi assolutamente spropositati. Siamo arrivati ad Assisi è stato il primo bar che abbiamo visto appena entrati una torta al testo una pasta e una pessima cotoletta surgelata quasi 40 € da non crederci.

03/05/2025: Mi sono fermato per prendere una coppa di gelato insieme a mia moglie e ci siamo seduti ai tavoli all’interno . Ottimo gelato e servizio celere .
