14/07/2024: Locale vecchio, datato e sporchissimo, a cominciare dal titolare/cameriere! Abbigliamento da mare, con calzoncini e infradito. Ho capito che era il cameriere solo perché indossava il grembiule. Annoiato, si trascinava letteralmente per la sala, a volte appoggiato ad un carrello (di quelli con le rotelle) con cui raccoglieva i piatti sporchi di quei pochi altri commensali che c'erano, come se portare due piatti dalla sala alla cucina (5 metri) fosse uno sforzo immane! Per quanto riguarda il cibo, pasta scotta e molla che non si riusciva a prendere con la forchetta, pasta con le fave che sapeva di pasta e fagioli, amatriciana salata. Era uno dei pochi (se non l'unico) ristorante aperto nei pressi della stazione ma Se avessimo saputo prima che era così non ci saremmo mai andate. Nella foto il famoso carrello!

09/08/2024: We came in for lunch, us parents with 2 children (3 and 6 years old), and we were welcomed as if we were at home: two very young Umbrian boys, from Assisi, passionate about the place and happy to answer all our questions. We had lunch in a real pork butchery: a stuffed testo cake and stuffed sliced ​​bread, with strictly local caciotta and cured meats and a cutting board that was out of the world of taste! For beers, at least another 30 lines should be written: the choice is fantastic, all local products that escape large-scale distribution; I asked the girl (whose name I regret not having asked, maybe Chiara?) for a red beer that wasn't too bitter, and on the table I found one of the best red beers I've ever drunk (Brirrificio Forte Braccio, so much so that I bought 3 bottles to take home). If you pass by there, take a tour of this place, you will be enraptured by the simplicity of the authentic taste of the local products! Thanks to the two guys who welcomed us, put up with our two children and directed us to "strategic" destinations in the surrounding area for the rest of the day! Good luck with this simple but fantastic activity! If we return to Assisi, we will certainly be your guests again!

27/08/2024: Roovido pizzeria in pieno centro davanti alla Fontana Masini, da quando l attività è stata rilevata dai due nuovi soci, prima vi era un ritornare romagnolo è una tappa fissa per Cesenati e per chi viene da fuori e si vuole gustare un ottima pizza abbinata perché no ad un eccellente cocktail. Sembravano molto in forma anche i cocktail mas non li abbiamo provati, tuttavia abbiamo optato per le birre che con la pizza dopo addicevano meglio. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. D'estate ci sono i tavolini fuori in piazza e il colpo d'occhio è davvero stupendo. Le pizze: che dire, anche se costose (15-16 euro) sono davvero buone e ne vale la pena, leggerissime e ricette molto ricercate. Bravissimi

01/05/2024: Stayed for just one night, with a Smartbox package including breakfast. An ancient structure, in a park, not far from Orvieto. Easily accessible. There was no food service available but the buffet breakfast was quite rich. If the structure was cared for a little more it would be a jewel.

26/07/2024: Good morning, I try to briefly transcribe my experience in this location, hoping to be constructive and inspiring to improve. The owner, the only person other than her assistant present in the location, often appeared full of herself with angry responses and not inclined to other opinions, not considering the importance of the customer. She proudly praises the location of her farmhouse by stating the absence of mosquitoes and perhaps for the same reason she is convinced that the lack of mosquito nets in every room can confirm her theory. For the entire week in which we stayed I can say that the lack of mosquito nets was a minus that completely ruined the overnight stay in the room, giving access not only to numerous mosquitoes but also to bees, wasps and other types of more harmless insects. . Closing them was not an option as the rooms had no air conditioners or fans. Another piece of advice I can give is to arm yourself with umbrellas as the presence of just one tree in a swimming pool that can accommodate even 4 or 5 families is not the best! I further delight in writing advising that, when there are management problems such as water pressure or lack or minor problems, the best thing is to act at night or early in the morning or otherwise, to notify of the problem not at the same time as you decide to turn off the water leaving the entire building empty. We appreciated the possibility of having gluten free options but I recommend more organization as, sometimes, working alone can cause forgetfulness and the answer "that those who have intolerances usually bring things from home in their own building" is not professional. As a final point, I recommend reviewing the prices of evening catering. As they are completely different from nearby places. It is not a hotel or a 3/4/5 star restaurant, basic and often forgotten dishes for those with intolerances or allergies, should not exceed the 15 euro tasting menus within a few kilometres. For the rest, Sky in the room was appreciable. Suggestive location which, with various improvements, could offer a significantly better experience.

02/07/2024: It is difficult to describe in words this delightful place cared for with singular love. Here you immerse yourself in the peace that is a symbol of this region. It's a journey within a journey, it's serenity and joy, it's a reset of all the negativity that accumulates in city life. Here you feel welcomed not only as a guest but as a person and you feel pampered at every moment of the day. The breakfast is simple but super with local products such as simply perfect yogurt with honey. And then every greenhouse is a culinary surprise. Top quality oil and wine of their own production. I give them a few times but never have the diva stars been more deserved for the attention, dedication and the perfect harmony between hospitality and rules. What else can I say, take a step towards Campo al vento and you will only add another compliment to this magical place. Compliments!!!
