14/03/2026: We arrived at 8:20 PM with another couple. The service was very disorganized from the start: we had to ask for menus twice and three times before we could order. Throughout the entire time, we received not a smile, not even the slightest gesture of attention or professionalism. Meanwhile, they began serving at least four tables that had arrived after us, while those who arrived with us ate, finished, and left. At 10:00 PM, we still hadn't been served. At that point, I brought the situation to the attention of the owner, but her response was rather rude: she said the orders had been taken "in the correct order," and, faced with the evidence, simply turned around and walked away. It gave the impression of the classic "if it's okay with you, then so be it" attitude. The atmosphere and organization, unfortunately, were reminiscent of one of those restaurants you see on "Kitchen Nightmares." In the end, not even a simple apology for the mix-up was forthcoming. In fact, when I got the bill, I even had to point out a mistake in the prices, which were different from those listed on the menu. It's a shame, because this is a historic restaurant that once guaranteed quality. Unfortunately, today the experience was very different: stale bread, mediocre meat, and truly terrible service. You can tell there's no longer any love in what they do.

16/11/2025: My mother and I always go for Sunday lunch whenever we can because the food is delicious and high-quality, especially the fish dishes. The waiter Massimo is very friendly and professional, making you feel at home. Highly recommended.

22/01/2026: Pizza al taglio! This is a great spot in Orvieto for pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice). We tried the salsiccia e funghi, pepperoni, funghi porcini and gorgonzola e pera and they were all terrific! Lovely toppings and nice thin bases. The lady is quite friendly and if you ask nicely she might even heat them up for you. This is a good value option for a quick and tasty meal!

02/08/2025: This was a beautiful restaurant. It has a very home style appeal. It's also a hotel which is convenient if youre looking to stay in the area. It's near the Basilica of St Francis Assisi. The food was delicious. Tasty. Service was fast and efficient. Staff was very friendly. They accommodated split checks due to our group. Definitely a recommendation. I loved the carbonara.

06/12/2025: Overall, a nice restaurant. Although some things could use some work, such as the dining room service, which I found unprofessional. The dishes we were served were good, but my risotto was decidedly too sweet. The prices are definitely too high for the type of cuisine they offer. The location is very beautiful, but it's not enough to make up for the rest. The potential is there, but some things could be improved.

13/09/2025: Expectations were not met given the setting of the adjacent Castello (hotel). The hotel's location is very beautiful and offers a spectacular view, but the restaurant is less so, although pleasant enough. The waiters were kind and friendly, but the food, in some dishes, was a bit tired (with wilted accompanying vegetables).

27/01/2026: Excellent dishes. Friendly yet competent service. Excellent wine list. Not 5 stars due to the very limited quantities. Spent about €45 for two dishes and one bottle shared between four.

26/12/2025: We went on Boxing Day. The food was good, but the menu was practically unavailable. There were no seafood starters and appetizers, and sandwiches were missing ingredients. And finally, with the dining room empty, I would have preferred the next table empty, since I had to move sides due to limited space. We won't be returning.

23/01/2026: Hotel La Reggia enjoys a truly magnificent location, immersed in tranquility. Everything is meticulously designed, from the interiors to the outdoor spaces. The pool and soccer fields complete a well-organized facility, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. A truly beautiful and rejuvenating place.

25/11/2025: A small restaurant in the city center, on a street near Piazza della Repubblica, discovered by chance after reading the good reviews—all well-deserved! Tables in a quaint mezzanine, with very original and tasteful decor. The owner, of Sicilian origin, is very kind and willing to explain the different dishes. The various "Uscate" (typical Sicilian dishes) are a must-try. To finish, definitely the cannoli, made to order! Good quality, good prices too.
