12/03/2026: We found this restaurant for lunch during a day in Assisi. Very close to the Temple of Minerva (an excellent location), we luckily found a table without a reservation (though I recommend it during peak hours to avoid disappointment). Truly excellent food, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses (both meat and seafood), as well as a varied selection of pizzas. I personally recommend the Tozzetti di San Francesco, spectacular! The service was attentive and precise, although the wait was perhaps a bit long. It's still a lovely find in the heart of the city. One last positive note: the menu clearly lists allergens, which is not a given.

02/03/2026: Two words sum up my experience there: Simple and Pure! We found the restaurant by chance; we arrived at the place, an out-of-this-world restaurant from times gone by. (Don't look at the outside; you'll miss all the magic inside.) At the entrance, a gentleman named Carlo welcomed us. He immediately introduced himself with a brief introduction to his life and what he loves to do every day! We sat down at the table, two men and two women, and suddenly Carlo brought us two beautiful, freshly picked yellow roses—a simple gesture that was more than appreciated! We started with a beautiful "primrose platter" and he explained everything inside and how it was produced. Every bite tasted of quality and love. The first courses were indescribable, a unique flavor! The desserts are all worth trying, each one better than the last. While we were eating lunch, we heard a newborn goat crying, so we were curious and asked if we could see him. Suddenly, he brought him to the table, a beautiful goat named Pippo, who kept us company for a few minutes, a wonderful experience we'd never had before. Also, when we were about to leave, Carlo showed up with a bottle of water and four glasses, useful for the return trip since we were coming from Rome... we were speechless! But in all of this, the real experience was getting to know a person like Carlo, full of joy, always attentive in his manners, thoughtful, satisfied with where he's arrived now with all his sacrifices (things that are overlooked these days). What can I say... not just a simple lunch, but a real emotion!

20/02/2026: In my opinion, it's the best place we've ever stayed. Extremely kind and always available. We also had the pleasure of eating in addition to staying there... well, we can't say anything other than complimenting everything, it was very, very good... unfortunately, the winter months didn't allow us to use the pool, but we'll be back... it's a real peace of mind... a family atmosphere, isn't it possible to give it 6 stars?

23/11/2025: We visited this restaurant in Assisi yesterday and had a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant is well-maintained, welcoming, and conveniently located: just steps from the center and very close to the Matteotti parking lot, making it easy to get there. Despite the late hour, the host—the owner of the restaurant—was extremely helpful and prepared a variety of dishes for us, carefully adapting each course to our dietary needs. A rare, attentive, and genuinely courteous service. Good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

09/03/2026: Campers discovering the culinary delights of Italy, hailing from the Tuscia region and wandering through the isolated hills and marvelous castles of the Todi region, near Todi, we stumbled upon a remote village of four souls, Izzalini. As we sat at our table, we were immediately greeted with a small welcome aperitif, followed shortly by an appetizer of lard on toasted bread and onion parmigiana! We were already ecstatic! When the first courses arrived, I couldn't believe it! A Deruta ceramic plate so large that not even my grandmother had one! Piled high with white hare ragù with handmade tagliatelle! My wife had tagliatelle with deer ragù. At that point, we mustered up our courage and grabbed our forks; we ate until we could stomach it! Unfortunately, I don't have any concrete documentation of what happened, but I can assure you it's not a place for the faint of heart! Be careful who enters, because the culinary experience here will infect you and drive your palate crazy, and you won't sleep at night, because the only thought that will cross your mind is coming back here! At Kairos...

Not only that, but the staff has remained the same for decades. The menu ranges from raw seafood, appetizers, handmade first courses, and fish or meat main courses, always with a unique touch tied to the season: artichokes, truffles that speak of the region, and traditional Umbrian desserts.

01/02/2026: Excellent place for a quick, good meal. All the restaurants in the area opened an hour later, but I was hungry. A good selection of local products, and the person serving me was very kind. Within minutes, two delicious sandwiches were ready to go. Right behind city center main square. Highly recommended, and definitely worth a visit again on my next trip.
