Even upon arrival in St. Leonhard, you're captivated by the phenomenal view over the Brixen Valley. But the real highlight is the family itself. Eugen, Theresia, Barbara, and Martina radiate a warmth that's rare these days. You immediately feel welcome and right at home. The old walls breathe history, and the rooms are so lovingly and cozily furnished that you simply don't want to get up. And the food? Absolutely divine! Every dish – from the perfect Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) to the sweet Krapfen (doughnuts) – tastes of genuine tradition, handcrafted quality, and a whole lot of love. Here, they don't just cook; they serve up the South Tyrolean way of life. Many thanks to the entire Messner family for unforgettable visits and your wonderful hospitality. A traditional inn with excellent (mostly traditional Tyrolean) food. Very friendly. Highly recommended. One of the best farm inns I know.
