06/06/2026: This meal was a complete surprise. We had finished exploring the Val di Funes quite late that day and hadn't planned to eat so far away. Since many restaurants were already closed, we drove for over an hour through the dense fog of the mountains before finally arriving. It was past 9 PM when we arrived, and the restaurant told us their kitchen was about to close, so they could only serve pizza. To be honest, we were exhausted and hungry at that point and didn't care about being picky. The pizza was much better than expected. We ordered a Bufala pizza, similar to an upgraded Margherita. The buffalo mozzarella was very generous, with a rich, creamy flavor, and the aroma of tomatoes was particularly pleasant. It looked simple, but it was the kind of pizza where you could taste the quality of the ingredients. We also ordered a ham and mushroom pizza. The ingredients were very fresh, and the aroma of the ham and mushrooms was natural, without any sense of being half-hearted. After a whole day of hiking and a long drive, these two hot pizzas perfectly soothed our hungry and tired hearts. Often, the quality of a meal depends not only on the food itself but also on the timing, and this meal happened precisely when it was most needed. The staff were also incredibly friendly; even close to closing time, they still made us feel welcome and attentive. The only minor regret was that we arrived too late; it was pitch black outside, and we couldn't see the surrounding scenery at all. We later learned that this was actually a mountaintop restaurant. I believe that coming during the day or in the evening, enjoying the view while dining, would have made for a much more perfect experience. If I ever visit this mountain area again, I would gladly make a detour to have a pizza here.

16/05/2026: The food was truly excellent, nothing to complain about. It's a shame that a young waiter with a goatee completely ruined the experience with his rude, arrogant, and completely out of place attitude from the first minute. He seemed annoyed even by being spoken to, with curt responses and a manner that would be a joke to call "professional." Such terrible service shouldn't exist in a place where the food truly deserves it. I won't be returning until the staff changes, because this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

13/05/2026: A pleasant and convenient place, being next to the pool. The dining room is spacious and offers plenty of space. However, the menu is overly extensive and somewhat touristy; however, the quality of the food is good. Prices are in line with the offerings. I'm giving it 3 stars only because some dishes aren't typical of the area.

29/01/2026: I was in Bressanone to visit the Christmas markets, and our hotel (Grüner Baum) had two kettles in the room with herbal teas and various Viropa products. I'd never tried them before, and they were truly excellent...

30/06/2026: I ordered a cebab pizza with sauces for home delivery, but what arrived was a dry flatbread without the ordered sauces. I also ordered three beers for the exorbitant price of €27! This will only happen once. Therefore, I cannot recommend them!

15/06/2026: The quality is so poor and disgusting. They can't even manage a delivery within Brixen in under 45 minutes.

18/12/2025: A wonderful weekend, thanks in part to the hospitality of the Krone staff. It's very close to the center, and you can leave your car in the garage and explore Bressanone without a care in the world. Highly recommended restaurant.

12/12/2025: First time at this hotel, excellent central location in Bressanone. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. We dined at the hotel as we booked half board. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. A tip for those staying half board, as they offer a tasting menu. Offering typical local dishes is an alternative to the menu, as some guests may have allergies or dislike certain dishes. Overall

28/06/2026: It just can't be that they accept Pluxee Italia but they have this one untrained cashier that keeps asking me for the card but I only have the app and the other cashier the app works please train your new cashier

14/06/2026: The food was of very high quality. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite live up to the same standard. It's also worth noting that the 'all you can eat' offer is now limited to a maximum of eight dishes. Overall, it's a real shame, as this restaurant used to be one of our go-to spots. These days, the price-performance ratio is no longer competitive compared to other restaurants in the area.
