19/03/2025: Here's a fitting review for the Hotel Saalerwirt in South Tyrol: Wonderful stay at the Hotel Saalerwirt Our stay at the Hotel Saalerwirt was simply perfect! The idyllic location surrounded by nature offers an ideal starting point for hikes and ski tours. The tranquility and beautiful surroundings make it the perfect place to relax. The food was excellent – ​​regional, fresh ingredients, prepared with love. We particularly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere during yoga in the morning and the soothing sauna after an active day. A warm and authentic hotel with plenty of charm – we'll definitely be back!

The hosts and their staff, in particular, are so friendly and easygoing; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food, the view, and above all the wellness offerings, including yoga and treatments – simply a dream!

13/04/2025: We went on the advice of the shopkeeper where we had bought the sandwiches for the day's walk. From the outside the place looks a bit anonymous, but when we entered, everything changed. Excellent food, very friendly staff and characteristic atmosphere. When we return to Riva, we will definitely try other dishes. Price appropriate to the quality and portions of the food.

31/01/2025: I often go to this restaurant, I have known the owners for years now, I always get a Margherita pizza, nothing like our dough and very thin but quite digestible. A simple place near the arcades of Merano... the pork shank is also good 🐷

Personale simpatico soprattutto i propietari,quando vado a Merano per noi e diventata una tappa obbligatoria...prezzi giusti a parte l'acqua quasi 5 euro una bottiglia mi sembra molto esagerato ma nel contesto va bene così

13/04/2025: Non accade spesso di cenare in una fattoria trentina dove i sapori autentici la fanno da padrone. Deliziosi affettati, formaggi e pane, tipici del luogo. Gulasch con canederli allo speck tenerissimo e saporito. Strudel di mele spaziale. Prezzi nella norma.

08/03/2025: Phenomenal pizza, I have never eaten such a good one in my life. The boss and master of ceremonies, flawless and a showman. The lady serving us was lovely. Together they make a great team. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, with elements of history, not only Italian. Before going to the pizzeria, don't forget to make a reservation on Google. I highly recommend it. Low bows to the Boss and Boss Lady. You are divine!!! 🤣

02/02/2025: Simple, basic hotel that in summer would be a 2-star campsite, with mini sauna in every room. Although the sauna disappointed us a little because it says that it is ready after 15 minutes but it takes at least 30-40 to find it hot enough. After half an hour it reaches 25 degrees and then increases up to 38 degrees from what I could see. It is a mix between sauna and Turkish bath because it is not very hot (about 38 degrees) and too humid (about 85%), but it is certainly comfortable because it is good for your health and you don't have to walk around the hotel with a bathrobe and slippers since it is not not even that hot around the hotel. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Ample parking. Secondary rear entrance with independent access if you want to go out in the evening and stay out late. Very comfortable and large beds. Large but basic bathroom with standard shower. Some rooms including mine also had a small balcony useful for those who smoke and then there is a beautiful view of the valley to see as soon as you wake up. Fairly efficient air conditioning.
