A very pleasant place. Despite the lack of available tables, we were offered a seat by the fireplace. The food was served quickly and everything was delicious. The service was very friendly.

We enjoyed our food. Ordered a bbq platter (lots of meat and veg) and a pasta dish to share. The pasta with ragu sauce for children was also very good.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in Madonna. The pizzas are simply the best, the meats are cooked perfectly and the pasta is excellent.

03/06/2026: The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, the owners and staff were kind and friendly, and the food was excellent. Just cross the street and you're on the path that leads to the lake, and a short walk and you're downtown. Excellent overall.
02/06/2026: Lovely restaurant with a truly authentic Italian atmosphere. The tagliatelle with mushrooms were delicious and full of flavor. A great place to enjoy traditional Italian food. We will definitely come back and visit again!

07/04/2026: If you're passing through Val di Sole, stop by Vecchia Macina: it's one of those places that stays with you. As soon as you enter, the atmosphere embraces you: the scent of wood and rustic elegance immediately makes you know you're in the right place to unwind. The food is divine (the venison tartare is out of this world, and the first courses taste like real mountains), but what really makes the difference is the restaurant's soul. A special thanks goes to the two young ladies who looked after us: it's rare to find staff so young yet so knowledgeable. They were incredibly helpful, always smiling, and able to offer advice on every dish. They make you feel like a welcome guest, not just a customer. In short, well done everyone: excellent cuisine and a heartwarming welcome. We'll definitely be back!
