26/07/2025: 3 star hotel but deserves 5 for its location, spectacular view of the Dolomites, large comfortable rooms with panoramic windows, and the icing on the cake in addition to a very nice wellness center with an attached gym, the exceptional gastronomic part, raw materials, attention to detail and kindness in the service, 10 with honors

31/08/2025: The residence is located right at the beginning of the village and is easily recognizable from a distance thanks to the rooftop swimming pool. The service, including check-in, was wonderful, and the guests were treated with a high level of professionalism. The wellness area is outstanding for this hotel. The dinner was also a delight, and no one left hungry after a long day of hiking on the Merano High Trail. Our hiking group (11 people) felt very comfortable, received a warm welcome, and were well looked after. My tip: this accommodation definitely deserves another star, with so much attention to detail and passion, which repeatedly made it clear to us: The guest is king.

12/10/2025: I needed a lactose-free cake, and no other pastry shop in Brunico could make it. It seemed truly incredible, but luckily this pastry shop was able to accommodate me. The cake was very good and beautifully presented. I didn't want anything fancy, just something simple. They even delivered it to the restaurant, so I didn't have to worry. The cake prices were average. I also ordered a mixed pastry: everything was delicious and beautiful. However, I think the prices are a bit high. In any case, I definitely recommend them!

06/10/2025: It's a worthwhile experience. Lately, I've been ordering the fried sea bass all the time, usually a kilo or 1.2 kilos. It's spectacular! Highly recommended for at least two people. We go to this restaurant once or twice a year so everyone can enjoy a truly different kind of seafood. Yesterday, we had spectacular spaghetti and three off-menu fried dishes: deep-sea shrimp, blue crab, and fried small soaso. All excellent. Price per person: €77. Well invested!

23/09/2025: Only one flaw...unfortunately, the restaurant is far from where we live, which precludes more frequent visits. We greatly appreciated the cuisine, where excellent ingredients are enhanced by expert hands: culture and tradition blend to showcase local products with respect and skill, without being overdone! Before going, I read some criticisms about the decor...I found it not only charming, but perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's identity, where history and culture blend together to offer an atmosphere that exudes memories, warmth, and hospitality. The service is excellent.

15/10/2025: Lovely staff, by the prawn cocktail was both warm and dry. The truffle pasta was tasty, but left a pool of oil at the bottom of the plate.

15/10/2025: We were there for dinner and were seated very quickly, and everything else went very quickly as well. To be honest, too fast. Rather than feeling like we were sitting comfortably and enjoying a meal, we were served at a rapid pace. It was a bit uncomfortable, and in retrospect, we should have gotten up. The food wasn't particularly special either.

13/10/2025: What a hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived it was absolutely stunning. We were greeted and shown around and given the choice of 2 rooms which was such a pleasant surprise but a tough choice! The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking and we never tired of it - waking up in the morning to the Dolomites was something else and seeing the silhouette of the moon was equally as impressive. The location is great for various ski lifts as well as numerous hikes. Just as impressive as the view has to be the food that's served as part of the half board. Everything that is served is fresh, tasteful and so well presented, it's safe to say this was our favourite place we ate on our honeymoon. There was a choice each night of a meat, fish or vegetable option so you could always be happy with what you were getting. One day we will be back as the service, views, food and room were all second to none and we absolutely loved our stay!

10/09/2025: This is a small, family-run hotel with a good number of facilities but stunning views of the mountains. As with most families, we stayed half-board and it was great. I'm a somewhat fussy eater but when a dish contained something I didn't like (coffee or celery for example) they could exclude it. The Michelin chef clearly knows their stuff as every dish was delicious, if not a little fussy. The menu changes each night. Breakfast was a served buffet affair and absolutely fine for what it is. We had a junior suite on the top floor and although we suffered a fair number of bangs to the head (being well over 6' doesn't help) the room was lovely. We didn't draw the curtains as waking up to the mountain view cannot be beaten. The town has a few cafés and restaurants if you are looking for a meal away from the hotel. It's a 100m climb (around 2km to the centre) but a fairly gentle slope up. Would happily stay here again and indeed plan to.

04/10/2025: We've lost count of how many times we've been to Gerold, Heidi, and Vincenzo's; it's always been a very family-friendly experience, even though it's often busy. The selection is extremely large; there's always something for everyone. The special pizzas with 'nduja are unusual. We always enjoy coming back.

13/10/2025: We spent a few days in the area, and unfortunately we only ate here on our last day. Otherwise, we would have come all week. The portions were truly generous, delicious, and at a great price. Definitely the most recommended restaurant in town. If I had to think of a restaurant I'd return to, it would be this one.

05/10/2025: The quality of the pizza is truly excellent, but it's a shame that the fries, which weren't exactly fresh, ruined my dinner. The staff is very welcoming and kind. I was disappointed and told the waitress that the fries were rubbery, meaning they weren't fried well or as "fresh" as I'd expected. I'm a pizza lover and I couldn't help but notice this detail. You could have tried to address this inconvenience by simply offering a discount on the final bill, which wouldn't have changed my life, but it would have been a gesture of understanding and a clear sense of regret for what happened.

04/10/2025: Unfortunately, the pizza was terrible. The service was nice and the place was clean, but we haven't had such a bad pizza in a long time. The dough tasted like a baked roll, and the toppings were a pure grease mess with no flavor.

06/10/2025: Very tasty pizza. We had a maxi pizza, which was enough for two people and a child. The value for money was really good! We tried the pizzeria because, unlike many others, it's open all afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised. There's a small seating area for children with plenty of toys and books to pass the time during the short wait.

28/09/2025: We recently stayed at the charming Residence Alpenrose and absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, beautiful, and cozy, with every detail thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The hostess was incredibly kind and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to everyone!

23/09/2025: A nice place, for food I had tagliatelle with ragù cut with a knife, but they were normal egg tagliatelle, I didn't say anything... it was enough to say it... for the rest the view of the Dolomites is a spectacle

18/09/2025: Stop before heading home for a dessert. Slightly off the beaten path but still close to the funicular, a quiet spot with a few outdoor tables and a lounge area for relaxing with a mountain view. Service was by helpful, friendly staff. I enjoyed a special dessert—I don't remember the German name—it was a sweet omelette, accompanied by fresh fruit and homemade jam. Everything was delicious! A nice glass of apple juice...

18/09/2025: This is a good, home-style restaurant. Cozy decor, and the tagliata is the best in this price range.
