26/05/2025: Kindness, friendliness, courtesy and hospitality. Excellent dinner, splendid wine (needless to say). Clean room, well furnished, with courtesy corner with kettle and apples. Quality of sleep: excellent. Highly recommended!

26/06/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Ansitz Steinbock in June. Where do I begin: Elisabeth, the owner and soul of the house. Her warm personality and incredibly good taste make the hotel something truly special. Every member of staff is super friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed the fine dining, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it—it's a truly special experience! An incredibly fantastic menu by Rene Tschager, with Juri accompanying us just as brilliantly. Preserving tradition and mixing it with modern elements—that's exactly what they did here. We also had a fantastic time at the Villander Alm—an equally unforgettable day that defies words. What didn't we like? That we had to leave today ;) But we're sure we'll be back! THANK YOU for this unforgettable time!

24/06/2025: We spent three wonderful days in the Steinmann double room. The room is the smallest in the house, but still very spacious and offers a great view of the mountains. It also has an en-suite bathroom, which, like the room, is furnished with high-quality furniture. Unlike the suites, the room (which we knew) doesn't have a sauna, but that didn't bother us. The welcome from Elisabeth was warm, and the staff was generally friendly and accommodating. Even special requests, such as breakfast on the terrace, were no problem. The food was very good both in the fine dining and half board options; René Tschager, the new chef, is doing very well. Elisabeth also made it possible to have an aperitif and chat with the chef beforehand, which was great. Breakfast was small but excellent. There's a buffet and an a la carte menu from which you can choose, for example, egg dishes. We would have appreciated an even larger selection of cheeses or vegetables, but that's just nitpicking. The coffee is excellent. The prices are rather high overall (€10 per 0.1 glass of wine). And you shouldn't stay here just for the spa/pool. There are, of course, better options in South Tyrol. But they make an effort: guests use the pool at the Hotel Hubertus, which is a 5-minute walk away. Overall, we're happy to give it 5/5 stars because the hotel impresses with its high culinary finesse and beautiful rooms :)

22/06/2025: We enjoyed the amazing view from the beer garden over the lake. The view and the Schneider wheat beer was definitely worth it going up by bike. Just way is in very bad condition.

20/06/2025: An authentic and refined culinary experience A truly refined place, cared for in every detail. From the entrance you can perceive a familiar and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to a warm but never intrusive management. The interior design is elegant and well-studied, as is the plating, which shows great care and refinement. The cuisine is the real strong point: the chef, young but with evident experience behind him, offers sincere, balanced and personality-rich dishes. The essential menu, with two first courses and two second courses to choose from (in addition to appetizers and desserts), is a winning choice: it allows to guarantee freshness and express preparations, difficult to find elsewhere. The mushroom risotto is a small masterpiece, creamy and fragrant to the right point. The veal belly is tasty and well-balanced, accompanied by crunchy and tasty vegetables. The dessert is the perfect conclusion to the meal: a handmade affogato, enriched with toasted pumpkin seeds, which give a surprising and refined note. The wine selection is also excellent, perfectly paired with the dishes. The prices? Absolutely in line with the quality and experience offered. In short, a restaurant that combines tradition and creativity, ideal for a special evening in the name of good taste.

21/06/2025: Large selection of bacon and cheese. It's just a shame we couldn't try any. It certainly wouldn't be a bad thing, because then you know what you like. Everything is very clean.

13/06/2025: For ham and sausage lovers, you've come to the right place! The prices are surprisingly reasonable!! Update: The blonde lady in the bistro ignored me today, even though I approached her and asked if I could order something from her. She simply didn't serve me. So I left 🤷🏼‍♀️

28/03/2025: Reachable on foot from the Oclini pass, or possibly via the ski slope, it has a typical menu with prices in line with the area. Very rustic and traditional, we ate goulash, frankfurters and sauerkraut salad, all excellent.
