What a fantastic hut. EVERYTHING is just right here – the food, the ambiance, the view, and the hosts are incredibly friendly.
The "Wiener Schnitzel" (not "Viennese style" 😉) tastes excellent.
The hostess even took the time to chat with us briefly. And even though my debit card didn't work at first, she remained friendly.
We'd love to come back – we felt very welcome ☺️!
15/10/2025: Anyone wanting a coffee and a slice of cake will only get a seat in the second row. The tables with a better view are reserved for customers who are more willing to pay for a "real meal." We arrived around 2:00 p.m. and were shown to a vacant table. There were deck chairs nearby. Here, too, we were emphatically informed that no service was available.
The better choice was the Helm Restaurant at the mountain station. Here, everything was as we've come to expect in this region: particularly hospitable.

Welcoming atmosphere. Ideal for a tasty and satisfying evening.
08/11/2025: The food was absolutely delicious. The portions looked small, but they were incredibly filling and of very high quality. The view was stunning.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. The desserts with the macaroon cream were also a real hit.
All in all, super friendly staff, a beautiful view, and very tasty food that is definitely good value for money.

Dining experience is warm and wonderful. Its makes every guest so relax and friendly. Made some friends too. Thank you!
Also, special thanks to Simon for his advices on the itineraries. A good mix of hiking and town sight. It was our first time there and it was really nice!

28/10/2025: Wanna say thank you to everyone who helps me during my stay. The lady who is in charge of housekeeping, smiled warmly to me every time we met at the elevator. I hope she enjoy working here(looks like she does)
I also enjoyed the dinner so much, the menu was changed everyday at least the days I stayed. That’s so impressive bc they are so tasty and made by local ingredients, paired with some wine selections.
I’m solo travelling this time but plan to get back with ppl I love❤️

10/09/2025: Followed the access road from Val Noana. A steady climb, with sometimes challenging but never impossible sections. The route near the waterfall (a spring of very fresh water) is fantastic, where the road follows a section carved into the rock. Read the explanatory signs! Arrival at the refuge in an idyllic setting amidst flat meadows and dense surrounding woods. A warm welcome awaits. Excellent menu (a trio of delicious dumplings and spätzle) enjoyed at outdoor tables. Prices more than match the setting. Before setting off, weather permitting, sit outside, overlooking the valley's sunny meadows, sip a glass of herbal grappa and... meditate!

16/10/2025: The best pizzeria in Brixen! My absolute favorite is the pizza burrata – simply perfect. Beautiful location, ideal for couples or families. Very child- and dog-friendly, you feel completely welcome. We love coming back!
15/10/2025: Me and my friends were on our way from Italy to Innsbruck. We got there at night for dinner, and the atmosphere was awesome. We ate inside, and the building looked super old but was really well kept, giving off a cool vibe. We ordered a bunch of different pizzas, and everything was amazing. For drinks, we got a cappuccino and a hot chocolate, both of which were delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was just okay. I'd totally come back here again to chill with my friends and enjoy the cozy vibes, especially for some beers when I'm around.

21/11/2025: I was greeted with kindness and courtesy; given the chill outside, they showed me the warmest places to warm up quickly.
Without a wait, they explained the menu and the day's dishes.
I waited a while to choose, got answers to my questions, and ordered.
Everything was amazing, homemade (including the bread), and generous portions.
Definitely worth a try!
Reasonable prices for the perceived quality.

Pizzeria Rio in Povo is now a guaranteed success. Yesterday we had dinner with their usual excellent pizzas: the "Bomba," a ham and ricotta pizza, and a zucchini and ricotta pizza, and we tried a delicious speck with gorgonzola and caramelized onions.
The real surprise was recognizing the owner, whom I had read a newspaper article about some time ago.
Young, cheerful, and genuinely friendly, he perfectly embodies the spirit of the place. 🌞 The pizza, with its soft, well-seasoned dough, always confirms its quality. A well-deserved five stars, we'll be back soon.

25/10/2025: A truly lovely and traditional restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend and I were able to find a table even without a reservation. The food was good, although I didn't find it exceptional. The only downside: the prices are quite high (cover charge alone is €4.50 per person), although they're in line with other restaurants in the area.
09/10/2025: Very good food on a small menu, but also with excellent daily specials. The wine selection is excellent, and the prices reflect the quality. Reservations are recommended.

23/10/2025: The location is excellent, right in front of Sassolongo, making it ideal for trekking or taking the cable car up to Sassolongo.
However, the following day, we were unable to travel by car to the Dolomiti Bike Deiras, a journey of eight hours, which was a bit of a hassle.
However, the spectacular views from the bike ride were spectacular.
12/09/2025: I stopped for a simple coffee and discovered a completely new and modern place (as well as good coffee!!) the location is obviously jaw-dropping 😧
