04/03/2026: We've always had a great time at this Mc Donald's! Very good food and fast service. Friendly staff. The only downside is that it's often hard to find a seat during peak hours.

03/03/2026: All the food is full of fat, but typical of McDonald's or Burger King. I hate drinks that are supposed to be carbonated, like Coca-Cola, which is a concentrated syrup that doesn't make any difference when mixed with water. It's also very expensive, but for an evening with the kids, it's fine.

26/07/2025: Questo grande ristorante nel centro di Merano - 'gemello' di quello di Bolzano - è sempre frequentatissimo e pieno nonostante sia davvero enorme (buon segno!). Qui si possono fare semplici spuntini freddi (classici taglieri) o pranzi e cene più 'strutturati'. Nel menù non troverete distinzioni fra primi e secondi piatti, più che altro perché tutti valgono in genere come piatti unici. I canederli, per esempio sono tre e davvero molot, molto grandi. Fra gli altri piatti ci sono stinco, rosticciata, il piatto forst (con costine, salsiccia, stinco, patate e canederli).

Dinner kicked off with an actual bite of a lemon leaf from the tree on our table and we immediately understood this won’t be an ordinary dinner. Soulful and savory dishes each centered on a surprise element, from the Alto Adige wagyu to the truly memorable lemon thyme raviolo. The “walk” through Aspinger’s garden for the vegetable dish is pure poetry. Warm service, intimate atmosphere, each course came with its own carefully chosen glass of wine (the Abendrot niedermayr was the one that stayed with me and surprised me the most) An authentic experience, chef Stephan Zippl & team 10/10

15/12/2025: The service was a complete disaster. The sommelier's disdain was unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. The dishes were beautiful but unfortunately very unusual. We also told the sommelier and the chef that we didn't like the food, but they didn't seem interested in understanding why. The wine prices are also excessive compared to other restaurants of this standing. A very disappointing experience for this type of establishment. I don't recommend going there; there are much better restaurants in the area.

21/10/2025: Flora is a very good service manager and very much appreciated for the way she takes care of all the users. The staff is friendly and nice and always available...the food is not much to complain about, and it's not bad ☺️.

30/09/2025: Nice Mountain Restaurant short before the Tremalzo Tunnel🚵‍♂️ Food was excellent and made our very nice day perfect. The owner gave us special treatment because it took a bit longer to get the food. All in all we come again!

03/01/2026: We waited half an hour for a waiter to come and take our orders. I then went to ask if I could order and was told the waiter would be there. He walked by us after two minutes without asking us anything. After another five minutes, we left. This is customer service.

27/01/2026: This is not an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Unfortunately, you aren't informed before ordering that you're limited to a maximum of six mini-dishes. Anyone who has previously visited similar restaurants with a digital ordering system and paid around €17 will assume it's all-you-can-eat and the number of dishes is unlimited. This isn't the case. Had I known this, I wouldn't have ordered soup. As it was, I left the table hungry after six tiny bites. An appetizer for around €17 – that's all it is, unfortunately. Quite disappointing. Regarding the food: I ordered edamame, which arrived cold and soggy. The sushi is rolled far too loosely, so it falls apart when you try to pick it up with chopsticks. If you like your (necessarily ordered separately) chicken served at the same time as your noodles or rice, this isn't the place for you. There was a ten-minute gap between my side dish and main course, so the pasta was completely cold by the time the meat arrived. The staff only speaks Italian—no German or English. This certainly doesn't make communication easy. All in all, not recommended. Neither the food nor the price is good. Better to invest a few euros more and save yourself the hassle.

18/01/2026: Nice restaurant, but very chaotic and packed with people. It's not fair to call it an all-you-can-eat. I wouldn't say we had a bad meal, but it's not a place I'd return to. As a fan of this type of cuisine, I have to say that some of the menu choices were very good, but others were rather disappointing. Skip the spring rolls and tempura... I didn't find the quality/price ratio reasonable. Parking was difficult to find. I wouldn't recommend it.

09/11/2025: I always feel at home. And the food is excellent, as befits a typical South Tyrolean restaurant. Excellent options on a varied menu and a reasonable price list. On my very own podium.

07/12/2025: Probably a good restaurant, but the service was under any standard. We were waiting more than half an hour to be able to order just few drinks. Waiters were asked by us twice to receive the order, but they ignored us completely. After 40 minutes we left and changed for another chalet where the service was nice and immidiate (Marilleva 1400 bar).

15/10/2025: It was one of the best vacations of our lives, and this is undoubtedly thanks in large part to the entire staff at the Alaska Hotel, who made us feel at home for two whole weeks, even with a newborn in tow. Kindness and attention to detail, not to mention the Michelin-starred cuisine. Thank you for everything, and keep up the good work.

11/09/2025: Terrible experience: property closed despite confirmed reservation I booked directly from the property's official website and received a proper confirmation email. After a long workday, I informed the property that I would be arriving a half-hour late. The property replied that it was closed for renovations. I immediately contacted the property to report the incident, but not only was nothing done to resolve the serious mix-up, but I also encountered a complete lack of assistance and professionalism. No solution was offered, no alternative, just an awkward silence. It is unacceptable to confirm reservations when you are not operational, leaving guests without any kind of support or protection. This type of management seriously hinders business travelers, leaving them with little chance of finding a quick alternative given the late hour. I strongly advise against this property: it lacks professionalism, poor communication, and zero attention to guests.
