Questo grande ristorante nel centro di Merano - 'gemello' di quello di Bolzano - è sempre frequentatissimo e pieno nonostante sia davvero enorme (buon segno!). Qui si possono fare semplici spuntini freddi (classici taglieri) o pranzi e cene più 'strutturati'. Nel menù non troverete distinzioni fra primi e secondi piatti, più che altro perché tutti valgono in genere come piatti unici. I canederli, per esempio sono tre e davvero molot, molto grandi. Fra gli altri piatti ci sono stinco, rosticciata, il piatto forst (con costine, salsiccia, stinco, patate e canederli).

Bel posticino in stile Hofbrauhaus dove è possibile gustare dei buoni piatti rispettando la tradizione, e bere una buona birra.

Trovato su Internet ma ne esistono due uno in centro che sembra in ristrutturazione e uno a Forst dove c’è la fabbrica della birra più tipico e più bello. Menu tipico bevarese e birra buona

Wir bekamen ohne Reservierung einen schönen Tisch im grosszügigen Wintergarten. Die Karte bietet eine grosse Auswahl an Speisen und verschiedenen Bieren. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben das Essen sehr genossen, es war alles frisch zubereitet und die Portionen waren richtig gross. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir gehen sicher wieder hin, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Meran sind. Klare Empfehlung!

28/07/2026: Coming from highly rated pizzeria to Friedheim restaurant it was shocking how much better pizzas it was here , by far , by faar. Cooked on real fire not electric oven is just perfect
27/07/2026: A highly recommended hidden gem. While the area is mostly filled with pizzerias or restaurants with only three dishes on the menu, this place offers a truly extensive selection. The prices and service are also excellent. All in all, a top-notch restaurant.

22/05/2026: I really liked the pizza, it was Neapolitan style, but the fettuccine was just okay.
17/05/2026: Excellent pizza, although some are very heavy and others are light on toppings. The big flaw is the staff; both the man and the woman are really annoyed by customers and don't do anything to hide it. I've dined here months and years later, and each time they've been less than courteous. They respond annoyed to every question, and it seems like they're doing you a favor by taking your order.
