14/12/2025: A very pleasant 5-night stay. The room was very spacious, modernly furnished, and spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were very satisfied with the dinner. Although there were only 4 courses instead of the 6 advertised on the website, the selection was so extensive and plentiful, and each course so generous, that we were more than satisfied. The taste was also excellent. The spa area was lovely, with an indoor pool, whirlpool, and several saunas, all in good condition. But the best thing is the value for money – it's simply outstanding! We took advantage of a special Black Friday offer. However, even without this offer, the price would have been excellent. Therefore, I can't understand the negative reviews here. If you expect the standard of a 4.5 or 5-star hotel, you have to pay almost twice as much. We will definitely be back! Many thanks again to Alex!

08/12/2025: I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and, honestly, I expected a much higher standard. From the photos, the property seemed well-maintained and up to expectations, but once we arrived in our room, we immediately noticed several structural flaws: the outside light wasn't working, mold stains on the bathroom wall, and a lamp that was loose from the wall. Once we brought these small issues to the attention of the front desk, they immediately fixed them, but it should still be checked before guests arrive. The service also wasn't up to par for a 4-star hotel: the amenity kit was never replenished during our entire stay, and the bathroom air freshener was already finished when we arrived. These are small things, admittedly, but in a property of this caliber, they make a difference and shouldn't happen. We chose this hotel thinking we'd be on the safe side, given that we've always had excellent experiences at other 4-star properties, but unfortunately, this time, our expectations weren't met. On a positive note: the food. A good variety of products, not necessarily typical, but suitable for all tastes. The restaurant staff were very kind, welcoming, and always smiling. The spa area, however, was disappointing: despite having potential, it didn't seem adequately maintained. The outdoor jacuzzi wasn't lit and, since it was kept closed, we were told there might be mud in it; for this reason, we decided not to use it. Overall, the price paid was definitely too high for what the facility actually offers. It looks very good in the photos, but unfortunately, it doesn't reflect the expected value.

27/08/2025: After a long hike, we stop at the mountain hut. It's a super-luxury restaurant with beautifully appointed indoor and outdoor tables. It's a shame that ordering a simple coffee makes the waiter on duty turn up his nose, and he smugly struggles to fill our order. There's no excuse for such behavior; the place must be ready to accommodate all the demands of paying customers. Or do we just expect customers who spend and spend in the mountains because Ciocomiti is taking over a mountain hut (Vigo) and needs to make a profit? And then we complain when the crowds arrive, demanding food from a 5-star hotel in the mountains. I'm sorry, but the management was terrible. Pass by the hut, but don't stop; continue to the Dimaro mountain hut. They offer kindness and courtesy, offering simple mountain delicacies—tasting plates or yogurt, coffee—and serve with a smile.

21/08/2025: At the entrance, there's a sign that says "Gluten-Free Ice Cream," so we went in to enjoy a cone; my daughter is celiac. The manager took a gluten-free cone, but he handled it with the same gloves he used to sell the regular cones. It's not so much his ignorance on the subject... what left me speechless was that, when I pointed it out, he asked us to leave! A terrible experience! I'll add one thing: that "gluten-free" sign is misleading; you shouldn't gamble with people's health. I would urge the relevant authorities to inspect the place and take action.

14/08/2025: We've been to this pizzeria more than once, and it's never disappointed. Delicious food, great prices, and the entire staff, especially Gaia, is incredibly efficient and always ready to accommodate any request.

26/07/2025: Questo grande ristorante nel centro di Merano - 'gemello' di quello di Bolzano - è sempre frequentatissimo e pieno nonostante sia davvero enorme (buon segno!). Qui si possono fare semplici spuntini freddi (classici taglieri) o pranzi e cene più 'strutturati'. Nel menù non troverete distinzioni fra primi e secondi piatti, più che altro perché tutti valgono in genere come piatti unici. I canederli, per esempio sono tre e davvero molot, molto grandi. Fra gli altri piatti ci sono stinco, rosticciata, il piatto forst (con costine, salsiccia, stinco, patate e canederli).

05/11/2025: Terrible. After receiving an initial offer to book an apartment (which wasn't even the cheapest one, by the way), the woman consistently refused, not responding to emails, and telling her to call back as soon as she had time, both on WhatsApp and by phone, but in fact never called back. After pursuing her for 10 days to no avail, we decided to change properties.

28/10/2025: The lasagna was cold, and so was the plate. We sent the food back. It came back slightly warm. The wait was too long, and the restaurant was practically empty. We were almost the only customers.

21/09/2025: The place would be nice, but it's poorly maintained. Unkempt, slow, poorly organized service. I don't even mention the bathrooms. It's a shame, get busy.

21/08/2025: I can't speak about the food because I usually stop here for a drink with friends, but I can definitely say that this place has a splendid location, surrounded by nature and just a few seconds from Sarnonico, and the service is always quick and courteous.

19/07/2025: In un luogo panoramico e spettacolare puoi gustare il meglio della cucina locale anche grazie alle mezze porzioni abbondantissime. Canederli, pizzoccheri, polenta, gnocchi e tanto altro (dolci compresi) tutto cucinato al meglio, servito al self service con cordialità in una location spettacolare ad un costo contenuto.

28/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati qui per una buona birra e stuzzicare qualcosa ma poi la scelta è stata differente! La birra consigliata dalla ragazza (ambrata non filtrata) top!!! E poi passiamo alla cucina! Abbiamo assaggiato tutto!!! Ottimo, la carne tenerissima, i sapori perfetti! Il ragazzo gentilissimo e bravissimo nel suo ruolo, due ragazzi davvero di cuore! Complimenti per tutto! Anche per i consigli sul dolce tipico!! Buoooooniiiiissiiiiimoooo con la salsa al mirtilli . La vista poi molto bella dalla loro terrazza. Posto molto pulito. Complimenti!

23/09/2025: Reopening and under new management after various ups and downs. Run by young but experienced and well-intentioned people. The typical local dishes are acceptable, although I personally think the tosella cheese should be revisited and the sauerkraut should be tasted before offering it. All in all, it's adequate. The new start deserves praise, given the improvements already made, both to the restaurant and to the stable, and the surrounding environment. Prices are in line.

23/08/2025: The starter and courtesy were good, the dumplings and main courses were not satisfactory.

01/10/2025: Just stopped for a quick aperitif, it will be a place to try next year 👍🏻 the guy who was at the bar was super nice but unfortunately super busy because he was alone with a lot of customers 👍🏻

25/08/2025: Today we were in Plan and stopped at this place for lunch. The atmosphere is bright and clean. We tried the first and second courses, and the food was good. Recommended.
