The nice thing about this place is the view, the furniture and the chestnuts. Service is very slow. I am intollerant to gluten and asked for a second without the knödel and made sure that everything else was without flour and yet they brought the meal with the knödel. Since I didn't want to make a fuss about it, i just picked up the parts that didn't touch the knödel. I wouldn't recommend it.

12/12/2025: A very cozy restaurant with lots of local and, above all, homemade food. The service was very friendly and very prompt. I can only confirm all of this after my second visit. The Bäckli (baked dumplings) were very good and very tender. The dumplings were prepared with lots of love. The coleslaw with bacon is also highly recommended. And the homemade apple strudel was amazing.
04/10/2025: We ate there twice during our week-long vacation and were extremely satisfied. We had reserved a table. The food was delicious. The service was very attentive and prompt. Highly recommended.

23/11/2025: another irish pub in another country gem...great service small bug noisy just as they should be..
09/11/2025: I stopped here to watch the Inter Milan game on a Sunday evening before heading to Merano. I had a gin and tonic with bulldog gin, which was good and well-prepared. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit gross.
