05/04/2026: Anyone planning to come for the buffet should probably skip it; I don't know what the hotpot is like.
There isn't much choice, almost everything is seafood, and the food was usually cold.
The meat/fish selection is really minimal.
The two stars are only for the sushi; the salmon was very good and fresh.

29/11/2025: Everything was top... the welcome, the cleanliness, the location, the breakfast, the decor... the owners and staff were super kind and helpful... a real gem.
23/11/2025: They were very kind, especially since we weren't arriving at check-in time and they made things easy for us. Breakfast includes homemade cakes and, while not the best in the world, it was quite acceptable.

We had been years ago, I think under another management, and we hadn't had a very good time, but today we returned to have lunch at Sushi Joy and we were positively surprised! Friendliness, speed of service and really good sushi! I'm happy that there is finally good sushi in this area. I forgot to take pictures of the dishes but they are good looking and plentiful. We'll be back!

A beautiful discovery Sushi Joy will now be a regular stop.

18/05/2026: A communal dining room with a wide selection. Takeout is also available. Free water, cola, and Fanta Sprite are available. My lunch of pasta, mixed salad (I assembled it myself), four pieces of fish, and bread cost 18 euros.

No lines, even at peak times.
Prices are reasonable, excellent value, and the menu offers a wide selection.
Many local products.
Cover charge and unlimited drinks included.
Pizza is available, with a short wait.
Friendly and dynamic staff.
The coffee bar is okay.

04/01/2026: I hate to leave a negative review, but unfortunately the bathrooms were dirty, the service was disappointing, almost everything on the menu was missing, and the prices were very high. One Torta della Nonna (a tiny slice that was actually a lemon cake) and five small hot chocolates were €25.

04/03/2026: The ambiance is from the 80s, the spacious place has a pleasant atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed. There are no vegan meals on offer, but there are vegetarian ones. Out of the 9 members of the company, 2 had digestive problems after eating.
03/03/2026: A beautiful spot, slightly off the beaten path. A cozy place to sit, with pleasant music and excellent food – highly recommended for all visitors to San Martino di Castrozza. We'll definitely be back.

04/10/2025: A rustic restaurant under new management. The best coffee in Tramin (100% Arabica)! A pool table, darts, and table football for a small fee invite you to linger. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. A convivial atmosphere beneath old wall frescoes. A Tramin institution!

12/04/2026: There are few gluten-free options. I had a tagliata, but I didn't appreciate it very much because it was full of sinew. The sautéed potatoes, on the other hand, were good.
18/03/2026: I'm very pleasantly surprised; the food arrived quickly, it tastes better than many big-city pizzas, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Excellent.

24/08/2025: Stay away from this place run by an incompetent person. I stopped for a typical South Tyrolean dish, added a quarter of a carafe of wine, and a carafe of still tap water. The final surprise on the bill: I was charged a monstrous €2.50 for water. I expressed my disappointment, and at one point the manager told me he pays for the water 😳 unbelievable. Not to mention the wine, which wasn't a Merlot at all as advertised, but a thin carton of wine. I also paid €3.50 for this. Guys, we're in the mountains on a farm, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. I absolutely don't recommend it.
23/08/2025: We went up for a snack with the kids. It's a wonderful place; tranquility and peace are the key words. The desserts are delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. The cheeses they sell are also excellent. It's a 15-minute walk away, even with strollers. You'll see cows and horses along the way.

05/04/2026: Truly an exceptional place. It's easily accessible from numerous local itineraries and trails. The staff is also very friendly, and the portions are generous and delicious. A place we'll definitely be happy to return to!
07/02/2026: A lovely walk in the snow...not too strenuous during the day, the mountain hut is very pretty. It's a shame we were so cold inside during lunch, and the food (stew and polenta) wasn't great. The staff was very welcoming. I'll have to go back, I hope it goes better!

08/06/2026: It's been years since I've eaten so badly. The only thing that stood out were the fries. There were eight of us, and we were all in disbelief at the quality of the food. The waiters even tried to make an effort, but there was no customer service (asking for a drink three times with the place half empty). For €300, they didn't even offer a round of the house: "We don't offer one." Well, "We definitely won't be back."
It's a shame because when I was 18, it was the classic "abundant-good-cheap" place.
08/06/2026: The portion sizes here are almost insane! :) With pasta, you get a whole package of asparagus.
Price/performance ratio is okay.
That's the main reason for 4 stars.
With the pork knuckle and fries, I would have liked a proper sauce. Just ketchup, mayo, and mustard was a bit dry. (Tip: maybe order it separately.)

27/04/2026: It's a vintage hotel, with spacious rooms but with carpeting and bathrooms with Forst green fixtures, the water is always very hot but I recommend a more thorough cleaning because I found too much dust and cobwebs.
