16/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, ordered tagliatelle and risotto with chanterelle mushrooms, and were surprised by the deliciousness. Seeing the wood-fired oven, we also wanted to try the pizza, which we'd never had anywhere in all our years in Bolzano. Not to mention the warm welcome from Mr. Piero and his wife, who immediately made us feel at home.

02/09/2025: I personally had the pizza and found it good, with a wide variety. The staff was very friendly. The place is a bit dated, with lots of wood. Overall, I'll be back.

22/08/2025: The waitress turned us away, saying they were full. "We'd like to come back in an hour, but they don't want us inside in free seats or outside, as it would disturb the guests. Please wait outside the door, out of sight." We were then kindly offered two seats at a table and sat with locals. The waitress commented: "I've seen you, but I won't serve you, not even with drinks - come back in an hour, like I said." I first visited South Tyrol in 1986, and I appreciate the hospitality just as much as my friends from Tramin to Kurtatsch. But something like this has never happened to me. We got up and will never set foot in the Fischerhof again.

27/04/2025: Ero cliente abituale, ma dopo che ho pagato 42 €per un risotto e 2 calici di vino, nn credo di tornarci , soprattutto dopo che ho pagato 4 € di supplemento per aver chiesto un pó abbondante ed è arrivata una porzione normalissima

19/04/2025: Ristoranti tra i pochi aperti ad aprile . Siamo stati accolti da uno staff molto preparato ma sopratutto simpatico. Piatti abbondanti e buoni, servizio veloce e professionale . Il locale è molto bello . Sicuramente ci torneremo

23/08/2025: Since we left much earlier due to the holiday season, but managed to avoid traffic, we arrived at the hotel around 10:00 a.m. The friendly German-speaking gentleman at the reception desk was already able to give us the keys to our room, which was really great. Unfortunately, the 5-course dinner was already fully booked, so the option to add it on later was no longer available. I would recommend driving a bit and trying pizza and pasta in town. Otherwise, everything was very nice. The view from the room was truly stunning.

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The rooms are okay but showing their age, just like the entire hotel. The mattresses are thin and saggy. I couldn't find access to the sauna village, if it's even still open. Service at reception and in the restaurant is mediocre. Only Indian staff, who are very hectic. The seating in the dining room is very cramped and uncomfortable. I waited half an hour for my main course. The food is mediocre and, compared to what I'm used to from South Tyrol, very poor. Portions are far too large and poorly presented. The only positive thing is the view.

30/07/2025: We stayed at this Tobia for 4 days. The rooms were decent, the breakfast service poor. Lunch and dinner were decent, even if the prices were high. The only downside was the rude owner, who smelled like she was already drunk early in the morning.

24/05/2025: Nonostante in lista, l'attesa è stata breve. Il cibo è buono ed il servizio tipico di una malga super frequentata. Non è stata la prima volta e non sarà l'ultima. Prezzi adeguati, servizio senza grandi pretese, personale gentile nonostante l'affluenza.

23/02/2025: Non vi so dire molto perché essendo arrivati in sei al tavolo, alle 14.10, ci è stato detto che erano disponibili solo panini e dolci. I dolci erano buoni. Secondo me dovrebbero avvisare che la cucina è chiusa dalle 14.00.

12/01/2025: Raggiunto il rifugio da Laion dopo una bellissima ciaspolata con un gruppo di amici. Pernotto cena e prima colazione: tutto eccellente dalla pulizia alla delizia del cibo. I gestori simpatici e cordiali, hanno reso la nostra serata super!

12/01/2025: Per raggiungere questo rifugio ci vuole circa una mezz’oretta dalla cabinovia che ti porta su, il percorso è fattibilissimo, ci sono due salite e per il resto è tutto piano. Qui si mangia molto bene e tipico, da provare assolutamente le loro costine e il gulasch!!!

16/08/2025: Great place for breakfast and aperitifs, friendly staff. The only downside: if you sit outside in the summer, you're a bit exposed to the (unfortunately busy) street.

21/08/2025: My girlfriend and I sat down at the restaurant and started ordering around 7:45, ordering about 15 dishes for two. For the first half hour, everything was fine, the dishes were even quite good, but after 8:40, we saw nothing; the place, which seats about 60, had only one waitress. After an hour of waiting, we asked for the missing dishes three times, but they never arrived. At 10:30, after at least 90 minutes of waiting, we had to get up and leave voluntarily, feeling hungry.

04/07/2025: Place for tourists who frequent the cycle path, crazy prices.. 15 euros for a caprese with 4 slices of mozzarella and a chopped tomato. The worst thing is to order without a menu and especially without prices.. they bring you a crumpled piece of paper with the few dishes of the day written on it and you simply have to cross them. In 4 with 2 children we spent more than 80 euros to eat little and badly.. I ordered sausages with sauce and unfortunately I had a stomach ache all afternoon.. to be avoided!
