19/09/2025: We spent a wonderful, relaxing week visiting castles, churches, Marienberg Abbey, and discovering the Venosta Valley, rich in apple orchards. We enjoyed every moment spent with Melania (the owner), savored the food, and, despite being the only Italians in the hotel on some days, we managed to communicate with the table next to us, learning a few German phrases. We'll take home a wonderful memory. Thank you 😘 to the staff!

16/03/2026: "Today’s experience was disappointing" I visited Urban Coffee Lab this morning for breakfast. In Trento, it is one of the very few places where you can get fresh pancakes (along with Cafe Venezia) and good cappuccino, which is why I really appreciate having it in the city. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing. The café was almost empty (only one other customer), and I sat there in front of staff desk for about 25 minutes without anyone coming to take my order. The female staff member who usually works there has always been very friendly and welcoming (5-stars for them), but today there was a different male staff member. After waiting a long time, I went to the counter myself and asked if he could take my order (cappuciono & brioche now bcz 25min already gone). He did take it, but then nothing happened and I was left waiting again, and he kept standing beside his cafe counter doing nothing. Breakfast is important for me because I usually work long continuous hours on my PhD daily (until the late evening), so I really rely on starting the day with a good meal. Today was just bad luck start of the day, i sat there like 30 minutes in total, almost empty café but still he did not want to process my order, had to come back without breakfast. I want to emphasize that this has been a rare experience for me. In general, I have always found people in Italy to be warm and kind, which is one of the reasons I love living here. I hope this was just an off day, because the café itself has great potential, best food, and fills an important breakfast gap in the city.

23/02/2026: Top restaurant, right on the ski slope. We started with a warm octopus and then a local cut of meat, perfectly cooked. A great bonus: they serve wine by the glass, dispensed via a Coravin system. Everything was excellent, and the team was fantastic.

01/05/2026: We had dinner at the "Palmengarten" (Palm Garden). The atmosphere was fantastic. You sit outside, but everything is covered by huge parasols. 😎 The service team did a perfect job and was very attentive. Our meal exceeded our expectations.

25/10/2025: Very good restaurant at the foot of the funicular. You might think it's a tourist trap, but it's not at all. The food is good; it's not haute cuisine, but it's not completely industrial. The staff is friendly and helpful. I tried a specialty dish and it was good. Good value for money with a beautiful view. I recommend it.

16/10/2025: We were there on a sunny autumn day. The service was super friendly and quick, the food was excellent, and the view was breathtaking. We had dumplings and Wiener Schnitzel. We almost went to another restaurant because of the mixed reviews. Luckily, we were spontaneously swayed by the busy sun terrace.

11/04/2026: We stayed two nights with two children, following a tour of Otzi, the ice mummy. What can I say? Top-notch hospitality, family-run. Rich breakfast buffet featuring local produce. Truly top-notch cuisine at a fair price, featuring excellent quality grilled meats, aged and grilled beautifully. Rooms aren't new, but they've been renovated, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The north side is very quiet, while the south side faces the busy road. Outdoor pool is currently being renovated. A few kilometers from Merano and the Schnalstal Valley. I've never tasted such delicious homemade dumplings; the cherry on top was homemade in alcohol. :) Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations on your commitment.

27/03/2026: Excellent steak, we come here often for that reason. The location isn't ideal, but the friendliness of the staff and the food make up for it. Highly recommended!

12/02/2026: What can I say? A truly unique experience! We've known Hermann for a long time and are always blown away by his exceptional and incredibly generous dishes. All the dishes are fantastic! We recommend the Chef's macaroni as a first course, but the other dishes are sublime too. Main courses are superb! The desserts are incredible; you have to try them all! The prices are ridiculously low and the service is incredibly friendly and efficient!

23/01/2026: A picture-perfect mountain hut, beautifully and comfortably furnished. The food is truly excellent and unbeatable value for money. The dishes are cooked in the traditional South Tyrolean style – I've rarely had better dumplings. The service is friendly and attentive to guests' needs. There are two slides outside for children and some games available inside. The hike from the Wielental parking lot took less than an hour, and the trail could be used as a toboggan run on the way back. The hike offers stunning natural scenery and is definitely worth it!
