We stayed one night at the Gasthof Hotel Sonne while passing through. The owners were very friendly and helpful to my wife, who has severe mobility issues. The room and food were very good. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the swimming pool because I didn't have my swimsuit with me.

I stopped for dinner. The food was plentiful and good quality. It's located in the upper part of town with a beautiful view of the valley. A very quiet location. Prices were slightly lower than average.

We were here again for a few days. It's simply sensational here: great food, very friendly staff, beautiful rooms. It's like coming home every time, keep up the good work! We're already looking forward to our next visit.

11/04/2026: We stayed two nights with two children, following a tour of Otzi, the ice mummy. What can I say? Top-notch hospitality, family-run. Rich breakfast buffet featuring local produce. Truly top-notch cuisine at a fair price, featuring excellent quality grilled meats, aged and grilled beautifully. Rooms aren't new, but they've been renovated, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The north side is very quiet, while the south side faces the busy road. Outdoor pool is currently being renovated. A few kilometers from Merano and the Schnalstal Valley. I've never tasted such delicious homemade dumplings; the cherry on top was homemade in alcohol. :) Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations on your commitment.
27/03/2026: Excellent steak, we come here often for that reason. The location isn't ideal, but the friendliness of the staff and the food make up for it. Highly recommended!
