15/11/2025: We were so crowded at the table, there was almost no room to put our plates! There wasn't a single centimeter left even though we'd only ordered one dish each.

14/02/2026: The service was very quick and friendly. However, the cheese in my Panino Classico was not properly melted. The prices are very convenient and the portions are huge. Maybe for a Kebap or a Pizza would be a better options, unlike the panino.

06/01/2026: I stopped at this restaurant for a business dinner and the experience was truly excellent. I ate truly well, with carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. Special praise goes to the owner Gerardo and his sister Deborah, who are friendly, attentive, and professional, and who know how to put guests at ease. The service is beyond excellent, attentive but never intrusive. The wine selection is also excellent, well-thought out and able to satisfy a wide range of tastes. A place I recommend without hesitation, whether for business or pleasure. I will definitely be back.

13/02/2026: We arrived there at 1:40 PM today and couldn't get anything. The website said it was open until 2:30 PM. We found it extremely unwelcoming!

16/02/2026: Disappointing return: impeccable service, subpar cuisine. We returned to this restaurant after a very positive first experience, but unfortunately, this time, our expectations were dashed. While the ambiance remains enchanting and the service commendable, the food (meat menu) didn't live up to the asking price. ​Appetizer: The beef tongue was bland, with a consistency similar to plain boiled meat. ​First course: Pasta with venison ragù was decidedly subpar; the meat was almost absent, replaced by a brown sauce that recalled the flavor but lacked substance. ​Second course: Pork fillet was adequate, but lacked any noteworthy highlights. ​On a negative note: The accompanying wines were disappointing. ​Positive note: The Gin and Tonic was excellent, the dessert was good (though standard). ​In summary: an experience that doesn't justify the high price. We hope for a return to the glories of the first visit.

30/12/2025: TOURSIST BEWARE! My family and I come from Trento, but we ate at this restaurant for dinner with some friends from the US. As they saw we were speaking English, they "accidentally" brought a much more expensive wine bottle than what our friend ordered (a 75€ bottle instead of 22€). On top of that, they wanted us to pay a bill with an extra wine and more dishes than what we ordered. We got it reimbursed, but if you don't speak Italian I imagine that would be tough, also considering the limited English language skills of the staff and owner. On top of that, the food was mediocre at best, polenta was grainy and the typical melted cheese dish (tosella) was overcooked. Ingredient quality was also questionable.

18/12/2025: Some dishes arrived at a less than ideal temperature; however, this small issue was immediately overcome thanks to the intelligence, humility, and extraordinary kindness of the owner, who, with rare sensitivity and great professionalism, was able to transform the incident into an added value to the experience. The restaurant is elegant, impeccably clean, and meticulously maintained. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, demonstrating great attention to detail and respect for the product. Overall, a very positive experience that leaves us wanting to return.

28/12/2025: During the Christmas holidays, we stayed at the Hotel Alpino in Peio Fonti, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The owner, Katia, was extremely kind and always available, ready to recommend activities and helpful tips, especially for us, who were beginners in skiing. The quality of the food was excellent, with a different menu every day and options designed for children. The room was cozy, clean, and equipped with every comfort, including a professional hairdryer and impeccable daily cleaning. Also noteworthy was the wellness area, featuring a swimming pool, spa with sauna and Turkish bath, and hot tubs. Silvia, too, provided an impeccable welcome: she was very kind, affectionate, and always available. We also appreciated the free tastings organized within the hotel, which allowed us to discover typical local products. The magical snowfall on Christmas Eve made the atmosphere even more enchanting, with a splendid view of the mountains directly from our room. Nearby, you'll also find an information point, a pastry shop, the Peio spa, a ski school, and equipment rentals, as well as the cable car to the top. A truly perfect stay for the whole family. Thank you!

09/09/2025: Departure at 1269 near Malga Baessa, arrival after about 2 hours at Malga Cere 1743, some of us continue and reach the lake below the Maddalena fork (after having traveled through Val Maddalena) around 2040. Satisfied and beautiful places. Have a good trip.
