26/05/2026: Everyone was very friendly and helpful; motorcycles with trailers were no problem. The dinner was incredibly delicious, and they gave us excellent recommendations for the region.

06/03/2026: We're a group of skiers who've been frequenting this place for many years. For over six years, we've been regularly stopping here for lunch during our days on the slopes. Unfortunately, this year we decided to change locations because vaping is allowed inside while people are eating. We found this situation rather unpleasant. We regretfully report this, as we've always enjoyed stopping here over the years.

05/03/2026: The quantities were small and the prices were sky-high. Bread was measured out with an eyedropper. An experience not to be repeated.

24/05/2026: Dinner with friends. I order a small Capricciosa. I get a tiny pizza. I pay full price. Embarrassing... Awful, poorly maintained place. It was empty, for some reason. Simple pizza, tasteless dough. They could do much better.

06/05/2026: I searched for a pizzeria on Google Maps, drove there in my campervan (2 km) to buy pizzas for dinner from the campervan area, but it was closed and they haven't updated their hours. Zero experience in my case.

14/04/2026: Highly recommended pizzeria. The owner was very friendly and spoke to us in a pleasant manner. The pizza was excellent and the price was perfectly reasonable.

27/01/2026: I wasn't familiar with this bakery, which is slightly out of the way from the town center but easily accessible, despite having visited San Candido on several occasions. The shop is spacious and welcoming, but—given our short visit—it was valued more for the purchase I made: a 1 kg tray of traditional, assorted, and truly delicious biscuits. I always cherish the wonderful memory of similar biscuits, homemade in Santa Cristina Val Gardena by a dear friend's grandmother, absolutely unsurpassed. Well, some of the ones I bought at the Trenker bakery reminded me a bit of my grandmother's biscuits... The price was more than reasonable, considering the "standard" of the area...

10/11/2025: Trenker at Senfter Platzl! Trenker is popular everywhere and has made a name for itself far beyond the region. I find the location lovely – a small, elegant shop with a wide selection, tucked away yet easy to find, away from the hustle and bustle and only a few steps from the center. Highly recommended.

24/02/2026: Terrible place, decent food, rude and incompetent staff, reservation on the fork at 9:15 pm, at 9:22 pm, the waiter asked us if we were ready to order, sitting for less than 2 minutes we asked for a little more time to decide, the waiter SIGHTED us, LOOKED AT THE CLOCK and indicated to hurry up, I was already getting nervous, we decide quickly what to eat, bad choice, the waiter comes back after calling him, I tell him that my girlfriend is celiac, he looks at her disconcerted, he doesn't even know what it means, he is the one in charge of taking orders, IN CHARGE OF TAKING ORDERS, he has to go to the kitchen to ask what gluten is, the portions were meager, tasting dishes, in fact the tasting menu courses were the same, incredible, the braised beef had a piece of meat, tasty yes, but at €26, they took such a hurry to take the orders, then they left us 5 minutes with the dish Dirty. When we complained to the front desk, prompted by the receptionist's question, we didn't even get an apology, but instead were charged an extra 5 cents. The receptionist used a calculator to calculate 40-37.75, which then became 37.80. She absolutely wanted a 5-cent tip. Working in a hotel, these are the flaws I've noticed. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN TOMORROW! Even though my girlfriend was mistaken for the owner's daughter, apparently with the same name, they didn't give her any special treatment. On the contrary.

29/03/2026: A very charming inn, located above Cornedo all'Isarco in the San Vito area. Attentive and friendly service, authentic traditional dishes, and excellent homemade grappa. Great for a weekend lunch!

17/06/2026: We stayed one night at the Gasthof Hotel Sonne while passing through. The owners were very friendly and helpful to my wife, who has severe mobility issues. The room and food were very good. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the swimming pool because I didn't have my swimsuit with me.

09/06/2026: I stopped for dinner. The food was plentiful and good quality. It's located in the upper part of town with a beautiful view of the valley. A very quiet location. Prices were slightly lower than average.
