09/11/2025: We ate here a couple of times during the summer. Always very good and the staff very friendly. The best apricot dumplings around.

22/10/2025: We went there for dinner; the food was delicious and regional. The apple juice was freshly squeezed, and the menu was seasonally updated. The service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was decorated like a proper pub, and accordingly, many locals enjoyed their after-work hours there.

12/09/2025: Jenny and Marco, a fun, friendly, and chatty mother and son. Excellent coffee and sandwiches from what I've tried. A good meeting place in the city center.

13/12/2025: Overall, we were very satisfied. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food was top-notch. However, what really bothered us was that our towels smelled absolutely musty. We'd been misled by them, and they were immediately musty. It was truly awful. I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but that was completely unacceptable. It wouldn't have been worth mentioning if the smell had been gone after we exchanged the towels.

12/11/2025: The Tenne Lodge has a great location right next to the gondola, making it ideal for skiers. From the outside, the hotel is very attractive and blends well into the natural surroundings. The rooms are very spacious and furnished in an alpine style. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent. However, many minor issues unfortunately contribute to a negative impression of the hotel, especially considering it's a 5-star establishment. The welcome was not only very cold but rather dismissive, and we didn't feel particularly welcome. We were aware of the 2:00 PM check-in time, but being greeted with the phrase "Check-in is from 2:00 PM" is completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. There was no inquiry about our well-being, our arrival, or anything similar, and when we had questions about a day's activities, we were referred to an app. Despite the hotel being quite empty, we weren't allowed into our room until 2:00 PM. (We arrived at 12:50 PM.) This is rather petty and reinforced our initial negative impression. We were not escorted to our room or given a brief introduction to the hotel. We received a slip of paper with information, but the reality was quite different. According to the posted notice, the whirlpool was supposed to be open until 7:00 PM, but it had already been drained by 6:00 PM. The entire hotel's design felt somewhat dated. Textured wallpaper, very cheap outdoor chairs, and truly awful loungers on the balconies are not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The pool area is very spacious, but the loungers are crammed together, giving it the feel of a neglected spa. From the pool, you can practically see the hairdresser at work. Nobody needs that. The sauna area is very spacious, but again, nothing special compared to other hotels. The transition between the sauna and pool areas is somewhat makeshift and requires a key. Incidentally, they still use "real" keys here, not keycards. Generally, many things seem poorly thought out and rather impersonal. For example, in a hotel of this price range, I don't expect teapot tea or teacups with the Teekanne logo on them. The gym is small but quite well-equipped, but the exercise mats were so worn and filthy that I decided against working out. Breakfast was good, and the à la carte dishes were of excellent quality. The 13-course dinner was outstanding. Incredibly high quality, beautifully presented, and perfectly seasoned. However, the table manners could be improved, as could the service. Placemats at breakfast? Awful! The staff needs more intensive training. They rarely asked how the food was, and used plates were often simply left untouched. Laurin, on the other hand, is an incredibly attentive and wonderful employee. It's unbelievable that a hotel in 2025 still doesn't have high-speed internet. At times, we couldn't even use Google or Instagram, let alone Zoom (we had to work). I also find the "open" duvet cover problematic. It's convenient for the staff, but simply unhygienic for the guests. There are some fantastic hotels in South Tyrol (Schgaguler, Milla Montis), but the Tenne Lodge is unfortunately not one of them.

02/03/2026: A wonderful Italian experience in a warm and family atmosphere. The dishes are meticulous, the ingredients are fresh and the pastas are especially excellent. The service is courteous and professional, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. We ate steak and grilled fish, simple and delicious. A place that is fun to return to again. 🍝🍷

02/03/2026: Excellent coffee with a good selection of pastries, cakes, and pies. Not just prepackaged, but also fresh. Not particularly quiet.

31/01/2026: We went to Trento to visit the traditional Christmas markets. After the visit, we went to this typical Loacker-branded bar/café. We enjoyed some fantastic products (desserts and hot drinks) recommended by the very courteous, welcoming, and helpful wait staff. They were able to accommodate all our special requests. Rating: EXCELLENT (the best we can offer).

07/03/2026: 💗 An authentic and precious jewel in Chienes, in the Pusteria Valley... a place where you might come by chance and then return by choice, because everything here is beautiful and precious: from the immaculately kept and comfortable rooms, to the silence broken only by the birdsong, to the greenery and mountains that surround you, to the attention to detail and, most importantly, the kindness and helpfulness of the owners. Here you are "pampered", loved... here you feel at home and even better 🙂☺️💗 Here everything is good: from the air you breathe to the breakfasts where nothing is missing, from the homemade desserts, to the eggs freshly prepared to your taste, to the crunchy bread, the one with seeds that I like, ordered fresh every day from the bakery and Konditorei in Chienes 😍😋 You come here and then you can't wait to return. I will definitely go back because here I found a family who welcomed me and smiled and pampered me with great kindness and professionalism ❤️

29/12/2025: Positive experience. We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. The food was really good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, convenient for reaching even the nearest ski lifts. In 10 minutes, you can reach Kronplatz, Falzes, and Riscone, with excellent ski lifts, sledding slopes, and ice skating rinks. We will definitely be back.

14/02/2026: We stopped by chance and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is classic, unpretentious, super chic, yet warm and comfortable. The food is truly tasty and the portions are generous. It's worth a stop.

21/02/2026: I ordered a Quattro Stagioni pizza and "necessarily" also an arancini because it wasn't worth more than €15. What a load of rubbish! Why do I have to go over that amount? Then the delivery charge was another €4, which for me, being alone, is outrageous. The pizza was decent, but with that tomato sauce, it really fell short. The pasta was good.

23/11/2025: They were very kind, especially since we weren't arriving at check-in time and they made things easy for us. Breakfast includes homemade cakes and, while not the best in the world, it was quite acceptable.
