14/12/2025: I stumbled upon this wonderful place quite by chance. A unique atmosphere meets fantastic, unobtrusive service and superb food. I had barley soup and venison ragout, and I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

02/04/2026: Thanks to a friend's recommendation, we arrived at the restaurant at 7:45 PM. We didn't have a reservation, so I politely asked if there was a table available. I was told the table would be free in an hour. I then asked if it would be possible to have an aperitif at the counter and wait for the table to become free. My request was met with confusion, wide-eyed faces, and vague responses such as "no, we serve aperitifs first" or "we can't," as if I'd asked the impossible of someone who works, or should work, in the restaurant and hospitality sector in a tourist-oriented location. And yet, the counter looked very nice and the seats were comfortable. I should point out that I was dealing with two people from two completely different generations, which makes me think we're in a pretty dire situation.

26/03/2026: I live there for 2 months because I was working in Tesero. The hotel is very nice. It felt like a home thanks to the staff!

09/06/2026: What can I say, I stopped by for the first time... I ate a strudel that was out of this world, quality ingredients and a soft, tasty dough! Thanks to my great-grandmother and grandmother who passed down the recipe. ❤️ The fruit tart was also not bad. I'll stop by more often 😊 congratulations

20/03/2026: We stopped in spontaneously during a bike tour. We received a warm welcome. They served cappuccino and first-class apple strudel – I've rarely eaten such a delicious strudel!

07/03/2026: 💗 An authentic and precious jewel in Chienes, in the Pusteria Valley... a place where you might come by chance and then return by choice, because everything here is beautiful and precious: from the immaculately kept and comfortable rooms, to the silence broken only by the birdsong, to the greenery and mountains that surround you, to the attention to detail and, most importantly, the kindness and helpfulness of the owners. Here you are "pampered", loved... here you feel at home and even better 🙂☺️💗 Here everything is good: from the air you breathe to the breakfasts where nothing is missing, from the homemade desserts, to the eggs freshly prepared to your taste, to the crunchy bread, the one with seeds that I like, ordered fresh every day from the bakery and Konditorei in Chienes 😍😋 You come here and then you can't wait to return. I will definitely go back because here I found a family who welcomed me and smiled and pampered me with great kindness and professionalism ❤️

06/10/2025: Since we had skipped the Talschlusshütte, we spontaneously stopped at the Pichlerhof. A fantastic view from the terrace and excellent Tyrolean cuisine were a wonderful experience. And the prices are very reasonable, too. Traditional South Tyrolean hospitality is still there. Highly recommended as a vacation accommodation.

24/09/2025: We stopped for lunch after cycling the Gola Pass. We ate deliciously on the outdoor terrace with a stunning view of the Collalto. The lady who served us was very kind, and the prices were excellent.

07/04/2026: I don't know why there were so few people. Everything we ordered was delicious, the ingredients were very fresh, the cheese was super fragrant, and the owner was a very honest, patient and hardworking person.

30/03/2026: First time here. Varied menu. Excellent products. Infinite kindness and courtesy. If I had to find a flaw, it would be the poor soundproofing.
