08/07/2025: A very nice hotel to stay for a week of skiing. The rooms are very nice, with very comfortable carpeting. The only drawback was the bathroom, which was quite small. Going down to the ground floor, you'll find several rooms, including: a corridor leading to the pool, gym, and sauna (which I absolutely recommend); the dining room, with a buffet at the beginning of every meal; and a relaxation room where, after dinner or lunch, you can unwind by playing cards or asking the receptionist for board games. (The relaxation room also has a bar where you can order drinks and food.) The food is very good and high-quality, and the waiters are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was that some features, like the PlayStation room, tepidarium, etc., weren't as advertised in the hotel description.

04/02/2025: It is one of the best places we’ve ever been. The hotel is beautiful with a vintage vibe. The staff is very helpful always ready to make your stay perfect. The rooms are always clean. I recommend it for anyone. We are here with a 1 year old baby and I can confirm that it is a good place to stay for families.

17/08/2025: We stayed at this charming hotel, located directly opposite the majestic Sciliar massif, and were captivated. The view is simply breathtaking: every window seems to frame a natural scene. The staff is one of the hotel's strong points—always smiling, friendly, and close-knit. There's a familiar, welcoming atmosphere that makes the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are simple and basic, perfect for those seeking tranquility without frills. The beds are quite comfortable, ideal for resting after a day of hiking and relaxation. Our room didn't have a minibar, but we're not sure if that's the case for all rooms. In any case, cleanliness and functionality were impeccable. After dinner, relaxing on the large lawn in front of the hotel was a real pleasure: an ideal place to enjoy the silence of the mountains and the last light of day. The food? Abundant and delicious, with dishes that pamper the palate and reflect the care and attention to local cuisine. The parking lot is large and convenient, a significant detail in mountain areas. And speaking of details, the hotel management is attentive and meticulous, even down to the smallest details. The property also offers a spa and jacuzzi, which we didn't have the chance to try, but we imagine are worthy of the rest of the experience.

19/10/2025: We ordered 10 takeout pizzas. The pizza chef wasn't very friendly even when I was ordering. They told us we'd have an hour's wait. After an hour, I went there and they hadn't even started making one. They told me everything would be ready in 20 minutes maximum. I had to ask three times when these pizzas would run out. In the end, I waited a total of an hour! He even made the wrong pizzas; regular pepperoni instead of Lombardy pepperoni. Plus, one of them even had a piece of sausage on it. The quality was good, but the service was terrible.

08/10/2025: Friendly staff, an extra star for that. The pizza dough was good, but everything else left much to be desired: partially burned, and the ingredients weren't good (especially the tuna).

17/02/2025: Baita ristorante posizionato nella splendida piana della Val Duron. Buona accoglienza e personale gentile. Locali ristrutturati molto bene e puliti. Zuppa d'orzo buonissima, prezzi nella media. Per apprezzare a pieno la location spettacolare merita salire a piedi, in inverno meglio avere al seguito i ramponcini

05/02/2025: Ho ordinato la polenta con il cervo e mi hanno portato una polenta slavata di quelle precotte e pronte in cinque minuti e la porzione di cervo era scarsa e la carne dura.

18/09/2025: I have no idea where the good reviews come from, but I was disappointed. The Tyrolean burger was practically tasteless, and the patty was the size of a shoe sole.

11/10/2025: The room air-conditioning doesn't work. It stop during the night multiple times and we told the front desk after the first night....but no improvement. This continued again on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th night. It has been a very very annoying and unpleasant experience! Instead of fixing the air con.... they just put tape over it. Today is the 4th night and the floor is flooded. When we called reception, he told me to speak German and when I say I am not German, he hanged up on me!!!

10/10/2025: Pleasant hotel, ideal for buses, boarding and alighting for passengers a bit dangerous

11/10/2025: We had marinara, kebab pizza, croquettes, and falafel. Everything was delicious :) Clean shop and friendly staff. We'd definitely be back!

16/09/2025: Cozy hut; we stopped in for a quick bite at the end of our hike. The apple strudel is highly recommended! They're all dog-friendly, too. The only drawback: I love hot chocolate with milk: they serve it here, too, but only in a small coffee cup. I find the price a bit steep. But it was delicious. It was very quiet when we were there, but we were also late and it was off-season.

05/11/2025: The hotel was booked through the tour operator. It's located on a very busy street. The rooms facing the street are very noisy. Luckily, we had a room at the back. We had half-board, and the three-course dinner was freshly prepared and tasty. Breakfast was very basic, with limited choices. But that's due to the tour operator; since the price was very reasonable, I suppose one can't expect more. We'll clarify this with our tour operator, though. The rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful, for example, by allowing us to change rooms. However, I wouldn't use it for personal travel.

21/06/2025: Siempre un gran lugar para parar para tomar una copa, comida y para sentarse y admirar las impresionantes vistas. Siempre me siento bienvenido aquí y he parado aquí muchas veces en las 5 veces que hemos estado en Ortisei.

02/03/2025: Ich bin während dem Skifahren hier spontan eingekehrt. Ehrlich gesagt nur aufgrund der Namensgleicheit. Ich dachte, mit dem namen, kanns ja nur gut sein. So war es auch. Ich wurde freundlich begrüßt und platziert. Der Service war schnell, und aufmerksam. Zwischendurch dauertes es mal etwas länger, aber die Terrasse war voll, von daher ok. Die Speisen waren gut und reichlich. Ich denke, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. An die Meckererin den anderen Bewertungen bzgl. der hohen Preise. Leider ist es nicht nur hier sehr teuer geworden und sondern leider überall. Jagertee für 6 Euro, Cheeseburger für 24 habe ich woanders zahlen müssen. Das ist heute leider der Standard. Das liegt nicht an den Wirten, sondern an den exorbitanten Preissteigerungen bei Energie, Personal und Rohstoffe. Was im Supermarkt teurer wird, ist natürlich auch für den Wirt teurer. OK, nach dem Schwenk wieder zurück: Die Daniel Hütte ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Den fantastischen Blick auf Lang- und Plattkofel gibt es übrigens gratis dazu.
