02/01/2025: Cibo Buonissimo, panorama incredibile con apposita panchina, servizio cortese, raggiungibile con un ora di strada a piedi a partire da monguelfo tesido.

31/08/2024: In questo soggiorno in Alta Pusteria di due settimane, tre sere sono state trascorse in questo rifugio a mezza costa sopra Monguelfo. Tutto assolutamente perfetto (prenotazione rispettata, accoglienza gentilissima dalla proprietaria, rigorosamente n costume). Rosticciata senza carne, ma con patate e funghi 🍄 gustosa, bistecca pizzaiola con patate 🥔 arrosto e fritte (carne ottima), la sera prima bistecca di maiale 🐷, sottile, gustosa, piatti di funghi 🍄 (finferli e porcini), salsiccia, polenta, uova con lo speck, goulasch. Un menù ricchissimo e completo ( solo da provare). 🥗 Insalata di crauti favolosa. Grappa al fieno, alla genziana, limoncello . Grazie, una tradizione fantastica

17/06/2025: Unfortunately, tourists are treated differently here than locals. Prices are a bit higher, but the food is delicious and beautifully presented.

09/06/2025: We've been coming to Merano for many years. Due to the variety of excellent restaurants, we only book overnight stays at our hotel. This year we wanted to add something new to our list, which ranges from Michelin-starred restaurants to pizzerias. On the recommendation of a former employee, we chose the Bussl. Even the phone reservation was very friendly and welcoming! We weren't intimidated by the difficulty of finding a parking space and were assigned an excellent table on the beautiful terrace! The service was more than professional and very friendly. We received good advice on aperitifs and wine. The selection of dishes is small but fine, and we opted for fish and meat. The food was very good, the portions were sufficient, and the value for money was good! On the recommendation, we had a pistachio tiramisu for dessert, which was also delicious. Good guests, good food, a fitting tip, and an invitation to a drink on the house! Thanks to our waitress with her excellent sense for a tasty drink for my wife! We'll be back again on this vacation! The bus will have a permanent place on our route!

05/04/2025: Pleasant place, always open, helpful and quick staff, I ate a trio of very good salted meat, the only point is that the tables are too small, but nothing special, I recommend

17/02/2025: After a day in the snow, we wanted a hot chocolate and a dessert, so we stopped at Creperia “Lo Sfizio” Society. The venue has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. We were welcomed by a young girl who, alone, managed both the service and the preparation of the orders, with great commitment. Unfortunately the strudel was out of stock, as were some of the ingredients for the crêpes, so the choice was a bit limited. Despite this, we were satisfied: the hot chocolates were plentiful and the crêpes were quite large and tasty. A good place for a sweet break after a day in the mountains!

21/06/2025: Very good pizzas and also well-stuffed sandwiches. If you want to have a quick meal at a reasonable price and with kind service, the place is perfect. Before leaving the lady gave us each a glass of fruit salad. Very kind. 😋😊

10/06/2025: We stopped, my husband, my daughter and I for a snack, the kind and polite girl made us two sandwiches on request, while my husband had a sort of potato omelette, all delicious 😋 at an absolutely honest price.

09/06/2025: There may have been somewhat of a clash of characters between me and the lady behind the counter. I simply asked in my least awful Italian (maybe I should have just stuck with English, but silly old me just tries to adapt to the country by at least trying to speak some of their language) whether takeaway was a possibility. Then the lady said this is Italy and that they relax and sit down whilst having their coffee. Noted, respect, but that's not an answer to the question that I asked, besides that I have things to do, places to see, and above all a ferry to catch...which I didn't say as it seemed pointless to me going into a discussion like that. After a little while, she begrudgingly asked what I wanted, I placed my takeaway order, I paid, and I got the goods. The coffees and brioches were alright. I have had better, but most definitely also far worse. All this stuff for 7 euros is pretty decent though. All and all, I think I'll be looking for a different place to get my morning coffees and pastries. Somewhere that at the very least appears to be somewhat more accommodating to tourists in general, or otherwise at least to somewhat socially awkward people like me. 😉

06/06/2025: The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were warm and the cappuccino was simply perfect. Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the moment. Greetings from Poland!

17/06/2025: I had a sandwich but it was enough to decide not to come back. Terrible quality: worst quality mayonnaise, a miserable slice of overripe tomato and no mozzarella replaced by a cheese similar to tagliotta. Disgusting.

29/05/2025: Beautiful bar to stop for an aperitif coffee and even a bite, quiet and dynamic environment, nice, polite and friendly staff, I recommend ✌️

29/04/2025: Ideal for stopping to eat during a day of skiing or for an excursion. Large and clean place, tables both inside and outside. Well-stocked self-service with medium-high prices. Easily accessible bars and bathrooms.

02/04/2025: I got a beer in a mug with lipstick on it. When I went to show it, the waitress gave me a new mug to pour the same beer. Disgusting

28/04/2025: Dopo avere visitato il Borgo Medievale di Canale abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante. Il locale si presenta bene e il personale ha mostrato gentilezza e attenzione al cliente. Abbiamo consumato un buon piatto di carne salada accompagnato da un buon vino rosso.

08/04/2025: La selezione di vini è di alto livello, perfettamente abbinata al menù e capace di esaltare ogni portata. Un’esperienza enogastronomica completa, ideale per chi cerca gusto, eleganza e relax tra le montagne.

24/06/2025: A thoroughly enjoyable stay – we'll be back! We are currently enjoying a wonderful stay at this hotel and would like to express our sincere praise. The entire staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always creates a pleasant atmosphere. As regular sauna users, we've experienced many infusions – but this was by far the best! A real highlight! The massage was also a dream – so relaxing that I didn't even notice it was over. The food is simply outstanding – varied, high-quality, and prepared with great attention to detail. The bathrooms in the main building may not be up to the latest standards, but they are very well-maintained and clean. One small suggestion for improvement: It would be nice if the loungers in the garden were already prepared with cushions in the morning. We only found out by chance that they even existed. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about – we're already looking forward to our next vacation in this wonderful hotel!

19/06/2025: This was our third time here and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Excellent food, friendly and competent staff, a beautiful facility with a 23-meter pool that allows for lap swimming. And thanks to the elevated location at 700 meters, it's not as hot as in the valley, but there's usually a light, refreshing breeze.

15/02/2025: Scelto da un ricordo tanti anni fa che non ci ha tradito. Cena buonissima! Penso che tutto quello che offrono è buono! Loro sono gentili, il cibo è di qualità eccezionale! Una cucina molta raffinata, basata su ingredienti di ottima qualità. Noi torniamo sicuramente quest'estate.
