04/04/2024: We were lucky to get a table without reservation on a Monday night. Place is no-nonsense, children friendly, cheaper than other restaurants around and has great beef t bone steak for 45 eur per kg, pieces start at 1,300 gram. Pasta starts at 9 Euro, starters at 5

08/05/2024: Typical trattoria in the heart of Montepulciano. Excellent food, very friendly staff. Absolutely recommended.

07/04/2024: Unexpectedly delicious restaurant. Excellent mixed appetizer plate, far better than others we've tried around Montelpulciano. Pici pasta with meat sauce was great, as was the tagliatelle with mushrooms. Mixed green salad was a welcome bit of lightness in a city of heavy Italian food, the super high quality vegetables made it exceptional. Surprised to find something this high quality on a touristy street. Decent, if limited wine selection was decent, mostly local reds, very fairly priced. Pleasant waitstaff made good recommendations (slower than typical US service, but not in a rude way). If you can sit outside it's great people watching on Montelpulciano's main drag.

11/05/2024: We had lunch in this place while visiting Montepulciano. The food is excellent, the price and quality are very fair. The owner and his son who serve in the room are very nice and courteous. From today we will be your customers! Highly recommended. Seeing is believing. Well done!!!!

09/05/2024: The food is excellent, but the service leaves a lot to be desired out of five people at the table only two courses arrived and after five minutes the other three arrived. After about 30 minutes I complained because the rice I ordered had not arrived and they told me it would take another 5 minutes. I didn't know that it takes 35 minutes to cook rice. There were only us in the room. perhaps since there was no one there we should have avoided stopping for lunch.

06/05/2024: I don’t want to be too hard on this restaurant as the wait staff were very nice and maybe this was just and off night for the chef, but my wife and I found the food to be far below average. Specifically, the Phyllo Pastry Crust with Confit Tomato and Duck Breast appetizer was my least favorite dish I have had over my last two weeks in Italy. The duck was not well cooked and the flavors in the dish were muted and just did not go well together. The Veal main was also plain and lacking in flavor, which was quite surprising. The tagliolini was just okay. The restaurant interior was very nice, our wine was good and all of the staff was friendly.

07/05/2024: We were welcomed very well, a place not only where you can eat very well but the family atmosphere makes you feel at home. The owner Pier is a very nice person to have a chat with, his son is equally smart. We took a legume pie in parmesan cream and it was amazing. The sweet and sour guinea fowl with plum and oranges has a unique flavour, the wild boar braised in Barolo with buckwheat polenta is of a quality you don't expect... it looks like a restaurant for tourists but don't be fooled because the cook is the owner and you can see the experience because all the food is of excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Prices are affordable. Inside it is all in a very charming and colorful baroque style. We fell in love

28/03/2024: Having arrived late due to a mix-up, I asked if my 21-month-old daughter's plate could be delivered urgently. The person serving the tables, despite having other orders in front of him, accepted my request, allowing us to dine quickly given the little girl's tiredness. Five stars for this alone, which nowadays is no small thing!

03/04/2024: A bit of a scam. The place is nice. The wines are also good although each glass is quite expensive at €15 pp. The quantity/price of each dish is what is considered quite ridiculous. The chef's ravioli literally comes in 6, and they are not large. Two plates of pasta and two glasses of wine=54€. If you want to eat good Tuscan food and leave satisfied, I certainly don't recommend it at all.

02/04/2024: Yummy food! My mother and I had dinner here over the Easter holidays and we had a really good time! The owner was really nice and kind. The dishes were really good, we had the pici cacio e pepe, the cheek with mashed potatoes and the tiramisu😍all fantastic, beautiful evening
