28/04/2025: Informal environment, in the center of the town, I consumed tastings of local cheeses and cured meats accompanied by excellent wine, friendly and helpful staff,

12/08/2025: The dishes were good, and the price was reasonable. The service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a lovely location in a pedestrian zone. Dogs are also welcome.

09/08/2025: Truly rude people... We got up and left before consuming anything. And to think that if they haven't been working these past months... Update after the owner's response: not only rude, but also liars... RIGHT THERE 👍

07/08/2025: Mainly for teenagers but not only - One of the few places to spend an evening in a nice atmosphere and, on some evenings, with pleasant background music.

19/07/2025: A good place to spend a quiet evening. Traditional cuisine with a touch of creativity. Whenever possible, you eat on the canals, and "Venice" adds its own touch.

18/07/2025: We dined on excellent caciucco, both the boneless version and the "5C" certified original recipe, paired with the delicious house Vermentino. It's a family-run establishment (just him serving and just her in the kitchen), and they're very friendly and helpful. They choose to only have five tables, and it's clear they don't just do it for them; they do it with passion and love. The location is excellent, away from the traffic. We'll definitely be back to try other traditional dishes.

11/07/2025: As a truck driver, it is important that there is a shower (free), toilet (free), normal-sized parking lot (free). The service is kind and helpful.

05/07/2025: Pasta with game, supposedly wild boar. It turned out to be a stinking thing reminiscent of a tasteless pork ragu. They weren't whole pieces; they looked like several-day-old leftovers, and they also smelled like several-day-old meat reheated a dozen times. If you're starving, you'll eat it; if you're looking for something delicious, don't try this dish. The tortellini with ricotta and spinach were good, but they looked like they'd been bought at Conada and then cooked.

15/06/2025: We ordered three cans of soda and drank them. We weren't even asked to order food. We've never paid so much for a can of Coke and two cans of lemonade...not even in a nice, well-kept, good restaurant with friendly staff. 3 x 3 euros!!!!!!

10/05/2025: Welcoming environment, very courteous staff, attentive to the customer and the sandwiches are amazing! High quality raw materials, I would like to point out that the bread is produced on site and the combinations of ingredients are really appetizing and the portions are generous, excellent value for money, well done, keep up the good work!

28/07/2025: Pizza gommosa e piena di uno strano formaggio stracotto che non può essere considerato mozzarella. Coperto 3 euro, pizza margherita 10 euro, le altre pizze 13-14 euro.

26/07/2025: We ordered two pizzas to take away. The staff was very friendly and told us there would be a 25-minute wait. We said we'd wait in the bar outside the restaurant. After the stated wait time, our pizzas were brought to us, so everything went smoothly. The pizzas themselves were rather average, although they tasted good, but we would have expected more from a pizza in Italy. Each pizza cost €14, which is a bit pricey for what you get. This is also the reason why we'll probably go to a local restaurant next time we feel like having pizza.

04/09/2025: The holidays were discounted (special offer), and yet the price-performance ratio is not balanced. The complex is quite old. Some of the houses have been renovated. Our house was comfortable inside but very dark, and the terrace at the entrance is very narrow. You can place the chairs next to each other, but you might want to look at each other's faces in the evening or at breakfast. The extensive grounds are very nice for strolling and are actively maintained. There is also a parking space in front of each house. The Wi-Fi reception is a drawback. This is only available in the central restaurants/reception – sometimes of very poor quality. These days, you expect more for the price. We were massively disappointed by the prices in the main restaurant. It looks like my work canteen. The prices are exorbitantly high; for a family of four (children don't eat much), they charge around €140 per meal (without drinks). On the beach, only two chairs are reserved for a family of four. The additional chairs have to be rented from the grumpy staff member. He glares so angrily that you avoid discussing things with him. The family entertainment is only in Italian and falls under the category of "embarrassing performance." The neighboring resort often offers very loud entertainment in the evenings. This was rather unpleasant.

04/09/2025: As soon as we returned from this vacation, I thought, "It's a dream," having been deceived by the inconsistent images I'd seen on the website. Starting with the price, which I thought was excessive for just an overnight stay (€1,483), I initially added dinner at the garden, which I later removed via WhatsApp so as not to be forced to always dine there and, if I wanted to go out, still pay for an unused service... the beach is nice and spacious, but they don't give you two loungers, but two deckchairs and a lounger to share. The beach bar/restaurant would be nice if it were better maintained and the staff paid more attention to customers, as the service was very slow and unresponsive. It wasn't clear if they even came to the table to take your order. The fact is, we made do for five days, with wrong orders, coffees left on the counter, and drinks left cold due to forgetfulness. The staff are nice and always smiling, but for goodness' sake, a season on Lake Garda would have lasted two hours. Few amenities, no newsstand, and you have to go out to find a tobacconist. The villas were poorly maintained, dated, and cramped for all the beds they offered. The TV was only in the living room on a small stand that you couldn't even turn to see better while sitting on the couch... with three channels plus Tuscan news... I'd rather skip the service. On the other hand, going out into the center I found many restaurants where we ate, from fish to meat, very good and with very reasonable prices unlike the village.... well, it's more of a village than a resort... having finished the holidays with a little bitterness we return to work

13/08/2025: Ordered 4 pizzas on the spot. Small in size and heavy dough. I had asked for my 4 cheese pizza with white sauce, but they made it with tomato sauce... and I had even noted it. The owners were kind, but that's not enough.

14/08/2025: I visited this restaurant overlooking the canals with my daughter. It's perhaps in the most picturesque spot in Livorno's Venice district, near the fish market and a short walk from the Fortezza Vecchia and the ferry terminal. Even though I visit Livorno often, I was curious to dine in this little corner of Livorno. The view is spectacular, with the sunset to the west overlooking the sea and the interior looking out toward the canals. Everything was lovely, but beyond the setting, it was the courtesy of the girls and the truly excellent quality of the food that made it my new go-to place when I'm back in Livorno. Congratulations, keep up the good work, and thank you for the pleasant evening spent with my Princess. A dad. Alas, update a month later... I returned about a month later (August 2025) with my partner, remembering the wonderful experience the previous time, which I described above. I had rated everything 5 stars, but this second time, the experience was, for half the dishes, simply "terrifying," leading me to lower the rating to 2 stars. Let me explain... We ordered a mussel sauté, which arrived as delicious as the previous time, also stuffed with a giant prawn. To drink, we ordered a half liter of the house white wine, which was served in a bottle holder with melted ice. Therefore, after our first glass, we realized that the wine was almost room temperature... (about 30 degrees that evening). We asked to refill the bottle holder with ice, but even then, it returned more cold water than ice. Let's move on... We ordered two first courses: linguine with clams and bottarga and a plate of spaghetti with clams. The dishes looked interesting, but we later realized they were very salty, but overly so, and that one of the dishes had no trace of bottarga, and that the lemon pesto was apparently just lemon juice mixed with breadcrumbs (I think). But it was the clams that really made us jump. Of the approximately 50 clams each that formed the base of the dish (like lupini beans—we certainly weren't expecting true clams...), on my plate I counted 8 open clams and over 40 closed, dead ones, meaning they hadn't opened during cooking. I wonder how whoever cooked that evening, while sautéing the pasta with the sauce, couldn't have noticed this, or rather, sent two servings of dead clams to the table, because, in fact, we were served two first courses seasoned with closed clam shells! When asked if everything was fine, I replied "well," leaving it up to the person returning the dishes to evaluate the eight open clams, neatly arranged in a radial pattern on the shell dish, compared to how many closed ones we'd left on our plates. But then again, the dishes were incredibly salty, unlike anything I've ever eaten before. I'm not the type to send dishes back to the kitchen, and I've eaten in "the worst bars in Caracas," but that evening, perhaps we should have done so because, always with politeness and respect for the work of others, a little criticism helps everyone improve. A real shame, I hope due to a lapse in the kitchen that evening, because the place is worth it, the prices are attractive, and the staff is very courteous and friendly. I hope to return soon to update the review.

13/08/2025: The cacciucco wasn't made with the fish called for in the Livorno recipe, the paccheri with blue crab seemed to be seasoned with the same sauce as the cacciucco, the fried anchovies weren't crispy, and neither were the French fries. A complete disappointment.
