16/09/2025: Everything was excellent and perfect, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the house wine and the house liqueurs.

17/08/2025: A mid-August dinner for four people costing €40 per person. The quantity and quality were both poor. The appetizer was minimal, and the two first courses didn't even add up to one. The second course and side dish were ridiculous. For dessert, thankfully, the fig jam was good.

23/09/2025: I highly recommend Tricche nel piatto to all seafood and casual dining lovers. Located in the garden of a typical country house, not far from the sea, it offers fresh fish dishes at affordable prices and a festival-style menu. There's no table service; you order and are called to collect your tray when everything is ready!

21/09/2025: Fresh fish. Really good grilled fish and epic mixed fried fish!! Generous portions, worth the price. Highly recommended!

12/05/2026: We chose a tent. We loved it. Maybe we would have preferred to find the beds made, but after the trip we started making our own beds with sheets. Oh well... the pool is very nice, and there's a shuttle that takes you down to the sea. The zipper on the tent broke, and they fixed it right away (it was a Sunday). It's a quiet place in May, but I don't dare think about July and August because you can still hear people talking in the tent at night. It's 5 minutes from the village of Capoliveri, which is a real gem, full of restaurants and shops. The only downside of this campsite is the bar and restaurants, I don't know what world they live in (a loaf of bread and cereal is €6.20). Prices are out of this world. Go out and do the shopping, there are plenty of supermarkets or farmers who will give you fruit and vegetables from their fields.

07/08/2026: A relaxed atmosphere with a focus on customer service. We were served quickly despite the busy restaurant. The pizza was good, but that's not all it offers. The brewery next door served some remarkable craft beers. I recommend dinner to anyone who wants to eat and drink in a non-commercial way. I'll definitely be back.

07/08/2026: I'm a pizza chef, and in my spare time, I enjoy tasting other pizzerias' products to compare them with the work I do every day. So, I'm not the typical customer who leaves a superficial review; I always try to evaluate a product carefully and honestly. The pinsa is simply phenomenal. The flours used really make the difference, and the final result shows it from the first bite. The dough is perfectly balanced, crispy on the outside and incredibly soft on the inside. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste the care that goes into every preparation. The restaurant also offers other truly excellent dishes, such as schiacciate, all prepared with the same attention to detail and quality. An added bonus that makes the experience even more special is the craft brewery that works right next door and collaborates with them. The beers are simply exceptional, of truly extraordinary quality and perfect for pairing with pinsa. Finally, a special mention to the staff. They make you feel like you're in your own backyard, with a genuine welcome and a relaxed atmosphere that's increasingly hard to find these days. For me, it's a place definitely worth trying. Kudos to the entire staff; I'll definitely keep coming back.

21/03/2026: By far the best sushi restaurant in Cecina, at least, but I'd also consider Livorno. I don't understand the negative comments about the food quality: homemade ravioli, homemade sauces, and I could go on for a quarter of an hour. You can definitely taste the difference compared to ALL the other restaurants in the area, but your palate has obviously become standardized. It's true, the place needs updating, but these days, an "Instagrammable" place is more important than a place where you eat well. Well done ✌🏼

10/03/2026: I hadn't been there for a few years, and... I wanted to try again, but... I was so disappointed! The place is still the same, in need of maintenance, not to mention the bathroom, which is increasingly dilapidated. 🙈 I'm always annoyed by the toilet seat when they could completely eliminate it. We sat down at 12:15 and wasted 3 hours trying to get lunch even though the place wasn't even full (several people got up and left because they waited so long). Lack of staff and lack of organization! I don't think I'll be back again... the competition is better...

09/08/2026: As for the atmosphere, it was wonderful. The food may not have been cheap, but other restaurants had similar prices. The service was very friendly and accommodating, always eager to help anyone who needed anything. I recommend it to anyone looking to experience the Tuscan atmosphere and enjoy a good meal.

05/08/2026: We arrived at this restaurant for lunch after a long journey that began at dawn, tired and hungry, and gladly stopped for a break along the way. Unfortunately, only after we were seated were we informed that, due to a broken hood, it was impossible to prepare cooked food. We fully understand that a technical problem can occur, and it's certainly not an easy situation to manage, but it would have been correct to report it immediately upon arrival. Since we were traveling with a young child and had chosen the restaurant specifically to be able to eat and rest after so many hours on the road, knowing this in advance would have allowed us to consider another option. That said, what we were able to order was still good: we really enjoyed the platter, the bruschetta, and the buffalo mozzarella. Furthermore, the view from the restaurant is truly priceless and makes the place particularly charming. The staff was kind and helpful, but the lack of initial communication inevitably affected our experience. With better management of this aspect, the venue would have all the credentials to offer an even more positive experience.

21/07/2026: The ice creams are very expensive, a pod costs 4 euros. I was hoping it would at least be good and artisanal, but it tasted cheap and felt like cardboard, supermarket stuff. The addition of bland cream tastes like ready-made spray cream that costs a full €1 for a squirt. Because 4 euros isn't good, right? I'm already over my budget if I add cream, so let's make it 5! Of course! The pistachio is salty, it covers the flavor of the raw material. The only truly good flavor is black mulberry. For that, I'd get a cone and just use that. I don't know about the other flavors. I'm sorry, but I can't approve of the ice cream shop, leaving aside the fact that the added cream should have been 50 cents as written on the counter... Not 1 euro... Although, regardless, charging for cream as a flavor you have to buy separately is the biggest bullshit of any ice cream shop in existence. It's not among the worst, but waaaay far from the best...

14/07/2026: A very friendly and helpful owner who takes the time to explain everything. I bought a delicious limoncello and fresh orange juice. Highly recommended.

17/06/2026: VERY UNFAIR: They set prices based on how you're dressed (maybe they thought I was a tourist they wanted to rip off: very elegant with a very chic hat, but I live 200 meters away, recently moved!!!) and/or based on whether you pay electronically or not!!! A coffee and an empty croissant at the counter are €2.70 Not even Pasticceria Cairoli is that expensive (and sorry for the comparison for the pastry shop!). A SHAME!!!

15/05/2026: We went to this place today and can more or less agree with the terrible reviews. The food was an outrage; the veal schnitzel was lukewarm in some sort of sauce, the porcini mushrooms tasted more like rubber, and the zucchini had only been on the grill for a maximum of 20 seconds. It's absolutely unacceptable. We should have been warned by the women who were snooping on customers off the street. But you learn your lesson the hard way. Stay away from this place. If negative stars were possible, we would give them.

09/04/2026: I didn't like it. That kind of ice cream where you can tell the flavors by their colors, not their taste, and the colors are really bright; there's very little that's natural here. The price is also high for the quality. If you can, look elsewhere.

04/04/2026: The best ice cream of my life! Livorno is worth a visit, ideally as part of an approximately one-hour boat tour through old Livorno, which is a bit reminiscent of Venice. But Gelateria Corallo is also phenomenal! In spring, they have kumquat ice cream with fresh fruit from their own orchard. Divine. But the caramel ice cream, for example, was also fantastic, lightly salted. I wish I had this gelateria right around the corner from home!

26/10/2025: Nice place with pretty good pizzas. Service is a bit slow. My review refers to a September evening when they were having a pizza tour.

11/09/2025: There were two of us with a dog. The dog was given water. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the food. We'll be back tonight. The appetizer plate was both visually and tastefully amazing.

Extensive pizza selection with some innovative original creations. Large beer selection. Good value for money. Large parking lot next door.
