21/03/2026: By far the best sushi restaurant in Cecina, at least, but I'd also consider Livorno.
I don't understand the negative comments about the food quality: homemade ravioli, homemade sauces, and I could go on for a quarter of an hour. You can definitely taste the difference compared to ALL the other restaurants in the area, but your palate has obviously become standardized.
It's true, the place needs updating, but these days, an "Instagrammable" place is more important than a place where you eat well.

10/03/2026: I hadn't been there for a few years, and... I wanted to try again, but... I was so disappointed! The place is still the same, in need of maintenance, not to mention the bathroom, which is increasingly dilapidated. 🙈 I'm always annoyed by the toilet seat when they could completely eliminate it. We sat down at 12:15 and wasted 3 hours trying to get lunch even though the place wasn't even full (several people got up and left because they waited so long). Lack of staff and lack of organization! I don't think I'll be back again... the competition is better...

01/06/2026: Truly exceptional seafood, and the place has an incredible view. The owner recommends the best dishes and makes you feel right at home—he knows what he's talking about.
I recommend booking well in advance to enjoy the front-row tables overlooking the sea.
Highly recommended.
31/05/2026: The location is stunning, but difficult to get to. Unfortunately, the dishes served didn't reflect the prices at all. The fried calamari was lacking in seafood and heavily battered, and the first courses, presented as gourmet dishes, had very simple flavors; the pasta wasn't cooked perfectly and the flavors were bland. On the other hand, the young waitress was very friendly, and the staff even offered a price cut due to the fried food. Overall, the location is very charming, but it's a shame because beyond the appearance, there could be much more substance.

30/05/2026: The food was okay, but apart from the children's meals, it took a very long time, and by the time we finished the appetizer and main course, we were mostly done with it. It's a shame the beautiful beach view is only available at the kiosk.
27/05/2026: We had a great experience in Maui restaurant. Pizze are excellent, the service is great. We were lucky to meet Peppe, very talented pizzaiolo, who's as sympatico e divertente as he is talented! We highly recommend everyone to go there. Hope to see you soon Peppe.

The two ladies made a good impression on me.
But the change they give you is always wrong.
Twice. The first time I left them €0.20.
And a few days later, €1.
Never again.
It doesn't seem normal to me.

15/05/2026: We went to this place today and can more or less agree with the terrible reviews. The food was an outrage; the veal schnitzel was lukewarm in some sort of sauce, the porcini mushrooms tasted more like rubber, and the zucchini had only been on the grill for a maximum of 20 seconds. It's absolutely unacceptable. We should have been warned by the women who were snooping on customers off the street. But you learn your lesson the hard way. Stay away from this place. If negative stars were possible, we would give them.

14/04/2026: Good food, pleasant atmosphere, poor service, boys and girls who have no idea what to do.
10/04/2026: Unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow. We waited hours and had to cancel some dishes, and they forgot others. No apologies from them.
The only positive note was the waitress Giulia, the only one up to the task. Congratulations to her.

27/04/2026: Our favorite restaurant in Porto Azzurro! It's wonderful in every way: the dishes, the hospitality, the atmosphere.
We fell in love here, and we return every year to share our favorite dinner. ❤️
05/04/2026: The children's play area is a great idea, however, we were disappointed by:
1) serving a glass of wine and a beer at €6 each in damaged plastic cups
2) we ordered four pasta dishes, which were bland and better made at home
3) cutlery and bread that we didn't even touch were charged at €18.50, or 23% of the price – unreasonable. Avoid this place.
