12/04/2025: Disappointing experience. We went to this restaurant and unfortunately the overall impression was very bad. The bathroom was dirty and the drain didn't work, this in itself says a lot about the care of the place. Outside there isn't even a menu displayed and the place has a neglected, almost abandoned look. There were four of us, but they only brought us three glasses. When they finally gave us the menu, we immediately noticed some inconsistencies: some courses were available in one menu and absent in another. I wanted a pizza, but I was told that they only do it in the evening – too bad this information is not written anywhere. I order a plate of penne with ragù, but I am told that it is not available. After another 10 minutes, the waitress returns to the table to inform us that another dish ordered by a friend of mine is also no longer available, forcing him to change. In short, poor organization, little clarity and zero attention to the customer. We certainly won't be returning.

29/04/2025: Wir lieben La Venelle schon seit Jahren. Die Karte ist nicht sonderlich groß, aber alles was wir bestellt haben war überaus lecker. Die Preise sind angemessen. Bemängeln muss ich, dass für Vegetarier die Auswahl neben Pizza quasi nicht vorhanden ist und im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen italienischen Restaurants werden keine glutenfreien Alternativen angeboten (mein Mann ist Allergiker).

25/05/2025: 100% ARTISAN RECOMMENDED For several summers (even at Easter) it has happened to me to stop by for breakfast, sandwiches to take to the seaside for lunch, pastries and also this year I ordered a much appreciated cake for a birthday, even some afternoon aperitifs or the famous ARTISAN ICE CREAM OF THE GOLOSA. I must say that it is a HIGH LEVEL PASTRY SHOP, you can see that they use high quality raw materials/ingredients, even the fried things don't feel heavy. However, it is still my favorite pastry shop.

25/05/2025: Unfriendly and very slow service. Paid for a coffee and didn't get it. Waiting 15 minutes for a cappuccino is too long.

14/06/2025: Man sitzt mit etwas Aussicht luftig gut, der offene Wein war sehr gut, die toskanische antipasti Platte sehr gut, Pizza ebenso. Service ok. Kann man gut auch mal hin.

04/05/2025: Un restaurante muy agradable con grandes vistas al atardecer desde la terraza. Personal amable y atento. Buena selección de comida, lástima que no habíamos venido aquí primero, como mejor variedad que algunos de los otros restaurantes locales.

28/05/2025: On the small square, "Piazza de la Republica," the best pizza 🍕 is baked in a wood-fired oven. Crispy crusts and delicious fresh ingredients. These two do it really well... Highly recommended.

04/06/2025: Di ritorno da una visita alla rocca ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo e un pranzo, ma l'esperienza è stata tutt'altro che piacevole... Abbiamo preso gli aperitivi e ci hanno tolto gli stuzzichini perché dopo avremmo pranzato. Assurdo!!!! Ordiniamo poi pasta cacio e pepe che era un blocco unico tutto incollato. Un insalatona a 14 euro!!! Alla fine entriamo a pagare e veniamo accolti dal proprietario molto scorbutico e maleducato che senza mostrarci nemmeno lo scontrino ci indica di pagare 96 euro. Mai più!!!!!

31/05/2025: Perhaps Italians have higher standards than German tourists. We really enjoyed our meal here. The food (panchetta, salami, typical prosciutto crudo, pappardelle al cinghiale, melanzane alla parmigiana) was excellent and reasonably priced. We also had a Vino della Casa and a bottle of mineral water. The waitress was more than friendly, and we were even allowed to park our e-bikes at the fence. Conclusion: As German tourists, we highly recommend La Taverna!

06/06/2025: We stopped for an aperitif. The waiter was quite helpful in explaining the cocktails to us, too bad the tommy"s was half a glass and without a garnish (it looked very bad) they left us a little bowl with chips which was also wet so the chips 🤮 and a little bowl of peanuts. When I asked if there were any olives, the annoyed waitress replied: I don't have any more...they've run out (it was Saturday at 6pm) 😱 nice view, but never again!

08/06/2025: We've been regularly vacationing at this campsite for over 13 years, and the restaurant is always an excellent choice! From the warm welcome to the food and service—we enjoy every stay there. The casual bar with great coffee and brioche is also a highlight. A special highlight are the incredibly delicious pizzas, which you can also order for takeaway. The Ristopizza Continental deserves a well-deserved 5 stars—we'll be back! :-)
