13/10/2025: I stopped by to try the wine and bought 5 liters of white.

01/10/2025: We arrived at Cantina Elbana at 6:30 p.m. and were able to get a table right away. The waiter was initially a bit surprised by our early arrival, but he was very friendly and spoke some German, so communication was easy. The ambiance is typically Italian: cozy, with good music and an open kitchen behind the bar – very authentic. The menu isn't extensive, but it's excellently curated. For starters, we had a cold seafood platter – highly recommended and perfectly portioned. For the main course, we had spaghetti uova di riccio di mare (fantastic, slightly spicy, and perfectly seasoned), ragu di pesce spada (excellent), and paccheri cacciuccatti for our son. A particularly positive aspect: the waiter suggested a half portion, which was still generous, but delicious! Since the portions aren't overly large, there was room for dessert. Unfortunately, three of the seven desserts were unavailable, but the cheesecake with jam and the chocolate cake with cream were delightful. The only minor drawback: While we were eating, the kitchen was washing up, and a strong-smelling cleaning agent was used for a short time, which somewhat spoiled the experience. In summary: Fantastic food, authentic ambiance, and friendly service – we left very satisfied and full. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: Perfect atmosphere, quiet and peaceful, with the sound of the sea as your companion. Very welcoming, friendly and approachable staff and chef. Excellent and refined cuisine. An elegant yet casual restaurant. Reasonable prices for the unique cuisine and for dining with your feet in the sand while enjoying the sea.

08/10/2025: We were there for lunch. The chef served and cooked alone, so you have to bring your time. The reward is the food, with its fresh and harmonious Italian style. You can taste the experience. The chef also knows that fish aren't square. Everything was perfect; I would order it again. Fresh food has its price, and that's no different here.

29/08/2025: I'm sorry, the last deliveries were not good, the speck and raw cheese were there, I had to put it in the oven to cook it, too bad, the guys were very good

30/09/2025: Very nice and beautiful. We had to wait at least an hour for the food. It was a bit long, but as I said, the staff was friendly. The food tasted good, but the portions were small.

29/09/2025: We've heard good things about the Taverna!!! But either they've changed chefs or they've changed management because we had a very bad experience. We ordered bruschetta for an appetizer, which was nothing special, then 4 Pappa al Pomodoro dishes, but the waitress, after two trips to the kitchen, told us that, even though it was on the menu, there was only one, and it was inedible. For the main course, we ordered two 1.4 kg steaks for 4 of us, which were also inedible. Two vanilla ice creams, a bottle of red wine, and two bottles of water, and we paid 55 euros per person. The bill, according to them, had been deducted from one steak. Absurd.

08/11/2025: Welcoming place and very helpful staff. Excellent raw materials, very good pizza and light dough. Highly recommended!

10/10/2025: Competent service. I can't say anything about the food, because I asked for one dish and got something else. Lemon scallops with parsley and garlic, without flour. The meat was good, but the garlic and parsley ruined my digestion. I don't think I'll go back there.

23/09/2025: Wherever you are, go here. Every day. And definitely try the mousse au chocolat. In Rome? Book a flight to Castiglioncello. In China? Book a flight to Castiglioncello. In Australia? Book a flight to Castiglioncello. The only downside to getting ice cream here is that you'll never, ever have such delicious ice cream again. As long as I'm still here, I'll go every day.

19/10/2025: We spent a pleasant half day at Gallorose Park. We took our time to fully enjoy the Sunday atmosphere, and it took us five hours to complete the approximately 3km trail through the greenery (including a nearly two-hour lunch break halfway through). We passed beautiful animals grouped by continent, as well as a farm area and a refreshment area. The park seemed well-maintained and the animals were well cared for. We'll definitely be back.

17/10/2025: What can I say...a wonderful zoo. I've been going there for 6 years now, and every year, I'm fascinated by this facility. Animals from every continent, a well-maintained and clean facility, considering we're surrounded by nature and greenery, truly very well-kept. The refreshment area is beautiful and well-maintained, with a very good restaurant serving quality dishes, outdoor picnic areas, and games for children. The parking area is also large, and the staff is very well-organized and coordinated. Congratulations! 💪❤️

01/08/2025: Imagine coming back from the beach and craving good, fresh meat, cooked with passion and love; are you there? Well, if you decide to come to Cugini di Carne, you've made the right choice. Informal yet more authentic. Dry fried food and Godfather-style tagliata (beef steaks) are mouth-watering. Highly recommended!

23/09/2025: Great view with sunset views. The seafood spaghetti was bland, but the fried seafood and vegetables were subpar.

20/09/2025: Nice view from the outdoor tables, the servers were friendly. The pizzas were average. Neither terrible nor excellent. Update: The manager insults his customers at the slightest disagreement and has the nerve to offer a disgusting potato and sausage pizza. Buena serata

12/07/2025: Celiac here! Many gluten free pasta options from their "Italian classics" menu including arrabiata, bolognese, pesto etc. yummy Aperol spritz as well!

28/09/2025: The service is exceptional, and the restaurant has a very atmospheric décor and a view of the harbor. The tuna steak in sesame breading is delicious, and the salads and other dishes are also very tasty. If you're craving Mediterranean cuisine, it's worth a visit.

05/10/2025: In short... some things to review... the rolled pizza wouldn't be bad but it was rather raw, the waiter tries to be nice/rude... it's more the second aspect... very noisy inside (there are sound wave breaking systems), good prices, I would like to go back anyway because if it runs well the pizzas wouldn't be bad.

13/09/2025: The atmosphere is very basic, with waiters smoking just outside the restaurant and obviously smoking the customers sitting a few meters away. The pizza is exclusively pan-baked, even though they have a wood-fired oven... unfortunately, this isn't specified anywhere. The pizzas are decidedly unique, and quite unexpected... for example, the Parmigiana is plain and without sauce, and the pizza with mozzarella and ham is served like a sandwich-style focaccia. The pizzas themselves are tasty, though obviously small, and the prices are accordingly affordable and reasonable.
