21/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in the Michelin guide, and stopped for dinner. Excellent wine selection, impeccable service, and very quiet outdoor seating with a sea view. The sea urchin pasta is a must, and the main courses are also delicious. In addition to the à la carte menu, there's a tasting menu, as well as some off-menu options based on the catch of the day.

15/09/2025: I stayed a few days at Camping Il Ginperino and was delighted to stay full board at the osteria. I tried several dishes, both meat and fish, and they were all very good. Excellent value for money! Duccio and Camilla are truly kind, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended 😊

17/08/2025: A mid-August dinner for four people costing €40 per person. The quantity and quality were both poor. The appetizer was minimal, and the two first courses didn't even add up to one. The second course and side dish were ridiculous. For dessert, thankfully, the fig jam was good.

28/12/2025: I remember going there with my dad around 2009, when I lived in Bolgheri. What a time! I returned a year ago and it was like traveling back in time. The pizza was 10/10. Exceptional service! The only thing missing is a good website with a menu and the ability to order online with integrated payment systems. If you want, I'm here to help! Greetings from Buenos Aires.

24/08/2025: Had dinner with my daughter after a long day at Cavallino Matto. The service was fast and very friendly, the food was excellent and well-priced. The cecina, or chickpea cake, was truly excellent. We'll return every time we're in the area.

08/07/2025: Atmosphere: Outside, there are overlapping chairs and the floor at the entrance is cracked, but the interior is decent. Service: We asked for two bottles of water, but they brought one, and we had to ask for it again. We also asked for two teriyakis, and they brought one. We also ordered three croissants, and we received two. It's truly shameful. I didn't hear a word from the staff. After one order, they took away the menus and the leaflet. Food: The food is more than decent, the sashimi is sublime, I recommend it.

03/06/2025: One of my favorite sushi experiences! 🍣 We had dinner at this restaurant on Tuesday night and we were thrilled! The restaurant offers both the All You Can Eat formula and the à la carte menu, with a wide variety of dishes for all tastes. The price for the AYCE dinner was €24.90 per person, and one thing I really appreciated is that there is no cover charge if you order drinks. The menu is really rich: in addition to the classic sushi, sashimi and gunkan, there are also less common options such as meat dumplings, which are rarely found in other Japanese restaurants (in addition to the usual gyoza). They also offer poke bowls, soups, creative uramaki and many interesting proposals. Everything was delicious and fresh. The environment is welcoming, with pleasant background music and a relaxed atmosphere. The place is very clean, and the service was fast and courteous. I really like that the kitchen is run by Chinese people, who bring an authentic touch and great attention to flavors — I say this with great respect and admiration for the quality of the work they do. I have been to several sushi restaurants, but this is definitely one of my favorites. I will be back soon!

13/10/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant by chance, as I am a vegetarian they were very helpful in offering me alternatives to the fish menu, we ordered first courses and desserts, the food turned out to be excellent and of good quality, the location alone is worth the trip, we will definitely be back

28/09/2025: Excellent food with surprising combinations. We had fish tartare, spaghetti with squid ragu, local fish on pumpkin puree and porcini mushrooms, followed by dessert and grappa.
