13/10/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant by chance, as I am a vegetarian they were very helpful in offering me alternatives to the fish menu, we ordered first courses and desserts, the food turned out to be excellent and of good quality, the location alone is worth the trip, we will definitely be back

28/09/2025: Excellent food with surprising combinations. We had fish tartare, spaghetti with squid ragu, local fish on pumpkin puree and porcini mushrooms, followed by dessert and grappa.

20/10/2025: The bar and restaurant is a historic establishment on the island, family-run. The atmosphere is simple, a bit dated, as is the service. However, the dishes are exquisite: excellent, fresh fish, well-prepared, and the side dishes are also excellent. The wine list doesn't feature inexpensive items, aside from the house wine, but there are also exquisite island wines served by the glass, which allowed us to keep our spending down a bit. The prices are average: quite high, but, as we all know, fresh fish is expensive, and everything on the islands is inevitably more expensive.

18/10/2025: It's located near the main square in town. The restaurant is simple, and the indoor terrace is open during this time of year, while in the summer there's also an outdoor one. The cuisine, primarily seafood, is simple but carefully selected. The wine list is unique in offering island wines that aren't always easy to find. We tasted both glasses of rosé, with a touch of Aleatico, and the fragrant Vermentino. For starters, we had excellent maniche with octopus sauce, followed by the freshest grilled and Sicilian-style swordfish. The side dish of roasted peppers (peeled, well-seasoned, and delicious) was excellent. Lemon sorbet was served to finish. The service was impeccable, and the owners were very helpful, and we even had a friendly conversation after dinner. We were tempted by the super-fresh swordfish, but many told us the fried fish is also a real specialty: maybe next time. (Price, including glasses of wine, €120 for two). Recommended, see you next time.

14/09/2025: Nice bar overlooking the harbor. Good croissants and cappuccinos, but the prices seemed really exaggerated. Three cappuccinos, a tea and coffee, and four croissants for €21.

15/11/2025: A spacious dining area. A simple menu, with well-prepared dishes and short wait times, considering the large crowd. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Gluten-free options are also available.

15/11/2025: On a Sunday lunch, the place was noisy. They mixed up the first course and then the appetizers. One person ate long after the others. Still, the food was good and the prices were reasonable.

The choice of pastries is small but the hospitality of the barmaids combined with the precision in serving make this place an obligatory stop for both cycle tourists and motorcyclists. Terrace with breathtaking sea views. Advised

18/09/2025: Only if you're hungry and there's nothing else nearby. The pasta was overcooked and tasteless (I had the house specialty) and the pizza had to come out of the freezer.

26/08/2025: We're still sitting at the table. We stopped by chance to get two pizzas, but seeing all their typical fish dishes pass by, we convinced ourselves it was the best choice for us. We had the lobster paccheri, which were truly generous and surprisingly flavorful. We couldn't help but try the fried fish and their signature swordfish Livorno-style, with a delicate yet impactful flavor. Very courteous and professional service. Kudos to all the dining room staff and to the chef who is behind all this research into the product, combined with the craftsmanship and passion for his work. Excellent culinary experience... I'd give it more stars if I could. Kudos to everyone, keep up the good work.

20/10/2025: During my recent stay, I had a great time at Pensione Alba. Mr. Giovanni was very kind and helpful, as was his wife. The fish-based dinners were excellent. Mrs. Agnese was also very kind and efficient. The room was very quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. I recommend staying here to everyone.

09/08/2025: Locale a inizio centro di Capoliveri (lasciate auto nel parcheggio a pagamento sotto di Capoliveri e salite la grande scalinata). Personale gentile e attento. Qualità prezzo medio buona. Presi 3 antipasti in 6 e un piatto ciascuno più una bottiglia di vino locale e speso 33 euro a testa. Risotto di mare e tartare di tonno ottime. Grigliata di pesce un po scarsa per quantità.
