As we ambled along Via Grande in Livorno, Italy—browsing a blocks-long pop up market lining both sides of the street—we stopped in Pasticceria Caffe Miro. What a treat! Very “famiglia” feel. We had their homemade pastries with a couple decaf cappuccinos (“due cappuccini decaffeinati”). We are coming back to Livorno in about a week. This place is on our list for a revisit! See the photo.

What can I say? I discovered it by chance and it's become my favorite bar! Delicious breakfast, the pastries are the best in Livorno (and I've eaten some), the friendliness and passion for their work are the masters! Highly recommended 🧡

For me, the best breakfast pastries in Livorno. The pastries are always fresh and offer a wide selection. The artisanal holiday desserts are unbeatable.

13/04/2026: We visited the park on Friday, April 10th. The route is set, so you don't miss any animals. You can always go back or exit and re-enter as many times as you like. A leisurely visit takes 3-4 hours. There is a well-maintained outdoor and covered picnic area with playground equipment, tables, and chairs. There's also a reasonably priced restaurant (many workers stop here) and a bar. We paid €54.60 for three full-price tickets and one reduced-price ticket. It's a well-shaded park, we loved it, and the staff is very friendly. As a suggestion, it would be interesting to include a reptile house.

05/05/2026: A great Italian restaurant. Very friendly owner, family atmosphere. The food was excellent, but the Bolognese had a bit too much tomato sauce. Other than that, everything was really tasty 😁
