15/04/2026: Worst Zoo I have seen. Many animals are visibly unwell, pack animals are kept solo, everything is dirty, trashed and full of rats. We came for the porcupines, their area is clearly permanently uninhabited but with signs still up (same for other areas). When asking about the porcupines, the old couple at the entrance who seem to be running the place avoided giving an answer.

08/06/2026: Salegrosso is a place that sometimes delivers great satisfaction, but other times it slips on banana skins. A very charming location in the small square on the Marciana waterfront.
The cuisine is sometimes inconsistent, the ingredients are high-quality, and the wine list is always interesting and innovative. Worth a visit.
21/05/2026: This restaurant deserves a Michelin star for its quality and service. The chef offers the authentic flavors of Elba Island with successful and delicate combinations, although some dishes, like the creamed cod, radish variation, and wild garlic sauce, are less captivating. Highlights include the pasta with red tuna ragù and Furikake, the spaghetti with seafood and asparagus, and the dessert, the granola, banana and lime sorbet, and yogurt foam. Kudos to the young maître d', a friendly and knowledgeable director of the culinary experience offered by Salegrosso.

03/01/2026: Great for children's birthdays. I don't know the prices because we've always been invited. The buffet they offer during birthday parties is really excellent.
19/12/2025: My sister had a great time. The pizza was good, even the schiacciata with chickpea cake... reasonable prices. Good service.
The bathrooms were really neat and clean, congratulations.

01/05/2026: The portions are really big, the saleswoman is extremely friendly, the prices are relatively affordable, and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. They also offer coffee and a small selection of alcohol.
13/04/2026: The best gelato I've had in all of Italy. We were very well received, even though we were a large tour group.

05/04/2026: A truly delightful experience! Despite the late hour, the restaurant was extremely accommodating, finding us a table without any problem. This was a gesture that was far from expected, especially at the end of the service.
The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. An excellent demonstration of professionalism and kindness that definitely deserves to be highlighted. Highly recommended!

Update: The manager insults his customers at the slightest disagreement and has the nerve to offer a disgusting potato and sausage pizza. Buena serata
