30/09/2025: A stone's throw from the sea, friendly and helpful staff. Freshly baked bread and fresh produce. I highly recommend it.

07/02/2026: We went for lunch today; there were a few other tables, but it wasn't crowded. The service was excellent, very courteous and helpful. The menu allows you to order up to 3 dishes with 4 courses each. It's really a lot of food, and we didn't even get to order our last dish. Everything comes gradually so you can savor each course. I can't choose which one I liked best; it was all delicious and fresh. It's definitely our favorite Chinese and Japanese restaurant in the city. I RECOMMEND IT!

22/01/2026: Large, quiet hotel next to a green park. Ample parking, a bar serving snacks, a restaurant, an elevator, a well-stocked breakfast room with a TV, and a well-sized double room with a TV and air conditioning, a large bathroom, and a competitive price.

27/11/2025: An hour and a half wait for two pizzas. Only the fried food and the Coke arrived. We got up to smoke, tired of waiting. We went back and they cleared our table. When we mentioned it to the cashier, they didn't even apologize and were already ready with the bill: €20 for two fried foods and a Coke. To err is human, and to acknowledge it is human. What a shame...

20/09/2025: I wish we'd read the reviews beforehand. This was by far the worst restaurant experience of our lives. We had the penne with mushrooms and the spaghetti carbonara. Both dishes arrived so incredibly quickly that we were skeptical. What can I say?! The carbonara was bland pasta with oil and scrambled eggs. And my penne with mushrooms, which wasn't even described further on the menu, came in an oil-based tomato sauce. All in all, my meal reminded me a lot of kindergarten food. The mushrooms were wobbly and unappealing, and the entire dish was unseasoned. We wish we'd taken pictures, because no one would believe us. At least the water, the Coke, and the house red wine were very cold. 🥶🥹😉

11/09/2025: Really excellent gluten-free pizza! The selection is significantly smaller compared to the gluten-containing pizzas, as the ingredients are strictly separated to avoid contamination, which is perfectly understandable. And it doesn't affect the taste or the experience in any way! Both the gluten-free and gluten-containing pizzas are highly recommended! Especially for takeout with a sunset on the beach 🌅

05/02/2026: We booked on Saturday for Sunday lunch. As soon as I walked in, I immediately understood the meaning of the restaurant's name. Large, crowded tables filled with people and groups celebrating family reunions, birthdays, team lunches, and so on. A table on the lovely terrace outside (given the nice weather) would certainly have been quieter and more peaceful. The service was quick, but I can't say enough good things because we had to ask three different waiters three times for a risotto to be added to the order. Plus, we had four glasses of wine, each different from the next, and they didn't take them away from the girls until the end of the meal. The food wasn't bad. However, the cacciucchino came with just one crostini, which was super garlicky. The overall quality-price-quantity ratio isn't bad.

21/09/2025: A beautiful location with tables overlooking the sea. The catch of the day is truly fantastic... the first courses are a little less so, but still good. Prices are quite high.

11/03/2026: I had the pleasure of eating at Da Balestra in Piombino, and the experience was truly positive. The restaurant is welcoming, well-maintained, and has a warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The real stars are the pasta dishes, prepared with fresh homemade pasta: authentic flavors, generous portions, and quality ingredients that are evident in every bite. The care and passion behind the kitchen are clearly evident. The service is friendly and attentive, helping make lunch or dinner even more enjoyable. A place I recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent cuisine in a simple yet truly welcoming environment. I'll definitely be back! 🍝😊

05/01/2026: This is the story of my city: you're not Piombino if you've never been to "Tonino"! Minimalist and a little humble, but that's one of its strengths for me: down-to-earth, unpretentious, and familiar👍🏻. The service is the same, what can I say... we grew up together... it's a bit like being in a family, but this applies to us. To strangers, however, it's friendly, nice, but down-to-earth: those who are fussy will turn up their noses🤷🏻‍♂️. Taste: "unique" pizzas!! Baked in a pan but with little oil, it will leave you amazed... Delicious! And the service is great.

05/10/2025: In short... some things to review... the rolled pizza wouldn't be bad but it was rather raw, the waiter tries to be nice/rude... it's more the second aspect... very noisy inside (there are sound wave breaking systems), good prices, I would like to go back anyway because if it runs well the pizzas wouldn't be bad.

12/07/2025: Así es como quieres una pizza de verdad, no te pierdas esta pizzería si estás en la zona de Cecina y tienes hambre de una buena pizza.

27/06/2025: A cena com mio marito premetto che la pizza è molto buona e gli ingredienti sono ottimi e di qualità.Ci sono 2 impasti uno più croccante e uno verace...chiedo se gentilmente si può avere la vegetariana con l'impasto verace mentre nel menu'la vegetariana era contemplata solo con l'impasto più croccante. Richiesta semplicissima....la cameriera immediatamente mi da un no secco...dicendomi che non si può il locale è troppo pieno(non capisco cosa c'entra) per giunta non era vero nulla il locale aveva un sacco di tavoli vuoti . Quindi niente vegetariana verace.Mi chiedo e mi piacerebbe avere una risposta: che differenza fa mettere le verdure su un impasto invece che su un altro? Mi hanno sempre insegnato che il cliente se non fa richieste assurde è un piacere accontentarlo.
