16/11/2024: Per festeggiare sia il compleanno di mio marito che il ns anniversario di matrimonio, abbiamo deciso di cenare qui per la seconda volta. Complimenti per la varietà delle proposte culinarie e per il servizio, abbiamo mangiato e bevuto splendidamente, ritoreremo sicuramente per festeggiare altri eventi importanti. COMPLIMENTI SINCERI.

03/05/2025: I rarely write reviews but in this case it seems necessary for those who, like me, love to eat well and choose a place based - also - on reviews. And some of the ones I've read don't seem positive enough. The restaurant was recommended to us by friends, the menu is well thought out and the fish is very fresh. Some reviews say that the portions are small, I wouldn't say so, on the contrary! Special mention to the seafood tomato soup which was incredible. Very interesting wine list. But above all, the wait staff was really kind! Well done, we'll be back today too 👏🏼

15/04/2025: Piccolo ristorante VERA CHICCA , assolutamente gestito alla perfezione con attenzione, gentilezza, competenza . Semplice , senza fronzoli, ma assolutamente VERO. Il tutto che corona un menu e una qualità davvero sorprendente con pietanze tipiche buonissime e soprattutto guarnite con dettagli che fanno la differenza .. che dire, bravissimi continuate così!
28/03/2025: Portate buone con prodotti locali, personale alla mano e preparato, prezzi nella media, forse piccole le portate, specialmente il tagliere che non è assolutamente da consigliare per due persone. un pó furbetti nel conto 💴

04/05/2025: Excellent food, good pizza. Terrible service. At the request for a glass of Brunello (7 euros) the lady arrives and brings the glass to the table. I ask for a new glass, asking to see the bottle, the answer was "why don't you trust me"???. After a while the lady arrives, slams the bottle on the table, serves and leaves... shocked

06/04/2025: I honestly wouldn't recommend it, the place looks good but they are slow and sloppy. I asked the waitress if there was pepper or chilli in the Sardinian fregola and she replied no, instead it was a bit spicy and I had to make my husband eat it.
Between the first and second we waited 45 minutes. Maybe we hit the wrong day.

11/05/2025: The wait staff was very kind.
In fact, I was very sorry because the food was really bad. We ordered two spaghetti with seafood, they arrived after 4 minutes of the clock, the pasta was pre-cooked and the fish was frozen or certainly not fresh. The pasta portion was really small and the plate was full of empty shells. We had also ordered a fry and a side dish but we asked to cancel the order and left, we had lost the desire. Cost €40. Absolutely not recommended.
06/05/2025: The food was wonderful, very attentive staff, unfortunately the tables are outside and it was a little cool.

15/03/2025: Ci siamo fermati a pranzo e ne è valsa la pena. Menu a base di cinghiale con affettati di qualità e tortelli fatti in casa buonissimi, cameriera molto gentile e posto accogliente !! Torneremo.

03/05/2025: After having been to Castiglione many times, finally, last night, we had a romantic dinner in this fantastic location. We took the mixed platter and the pappardelle with wild boar, particularly good and quality cold cuts, tasty but light pappardelle, which is not easy to find.
All accompanied by an excellent glass of Tuscan red wine and the friendliness and professionalism of the waitress. Thanks to the owner for creating such a comfortable environment. Highly recommended to everyone and we hope to return soon...

I ordered takeaway: Maremma tortelli with ragù and octopus with tomato sauce. Extraordinary dishes, prepared with the care of times gone by!
Every time I come to the seaside I can't help but stop by this delicatessen that lets you savor the best of Maremma cuisine!

24/05/2025: Piadine già pronte e scattate messe sotto una cupola quindi secche e fatte scaldare sono diventate immangiabili !!!! Poi siamo arrivati prima noi il ragazzo un po’ troppo estroso a servito una ragazza perché era sola !!!
