06/02/2024: Locale semplice e molto bello a gestione familiare nel borgo antico di Castiglione della Pescaia, attratti da un menù un po' diverso ma semplice abbiamo scelto di pranzare qui. Abbiamo preso cozze (ripiene) alla Castiglionese, due spaghetti alla chitarra all'isolaccia, un fritto misto di mare, due dolci, due caffè e arancello della casa. Questi ultimi due e le castagnole fatte da loro il giorno stesso ci sono stati offerti. Ci è piaciuto tutto tantissimo, il conto è alto ma considerando la qualità e la mangiata soddisfacente (il cibo, l'atmosfera e, tutto sommato, anche le quantità) è abbastanza ragionevole. Consigliamo vivamente!

19/03/2024: We ate well without spending much in this restaurant where the main dish is the barbecue done in a fireplace near the entrance. We also ate delicious tomato soup and very good gratin cardoons. We will definitely be back.

06/01/2024: At Paguro it's always good, the grilled meat is simple but of excellent quality, vegetables from the garden and delicious desserts! The wine is homemade, all local and homemade! Prices below average

02/04/2024: Upon entering the restaurant I politely ask if they have a place for me. They ask me: "for one person?" As if they didn't particularly like it...(I think I have the right to go to dinner with or without whoever I want!!!); they make me sit at a table chosen by them, after a few minutes a couple comes in and makes me move to another room without asking for my consent or at least apologizing. Behind me are crammed boxes that probably contain wines... not very elegant. I order tagliatelle with seafood after being reassured by the owner that they are served with a VARIETY of fish. Disappointment!!! 11 tasteless clams, 2 shrimps and strips of octopus to make a dish of certainly not gargantuan dimensions more full-bodied. No shrimp, no mussels or other fish. Result: I left hungry! Bill: 19 € of which 3 for a 75 ml bottle of Panna water, without cap so certainly filled at the moment (from who knows what source...), but it was certainly not Panna water, the flavor of which I know very well. I also asked for my fork to be changed because it wasn't clean... no apology from them for the inconvenience. No wipes to wash your hands, despite having ordered fish. The only positive note was the courtesy and smile of the (foreign) waitress. Oh I forgot! The owner, turning to the lady (his wife?) who welcomed me, asks: "is she alone?" "that" would be me... but the owner doesn't know that I can hear even through walls. Noblesse oblige! Chapeau!

12/12/2023: Very nice place with welcoming and friendly staff. The pizza is delicious and the one with burrata simply divine. We will definitely be back!

08/11/2023: In a warm and characteristic environment, we felt welcomed. Giuliano and Karima were friendly and helpful even when a downpour caught us by surprise as we were leaving the restaurant, providing us with shelter, an umbrella and offering us a glass of bitters. We ate and drank really well: the wayfarer's appetizer (typical cured meats and cheeses with bruschetta), the pici with Cinta Senese ragù (excellent!) and a tasty slice of beef. Giuliano accompanied us in the tasting of an excellent Sangiovese wine from a local producer that satisfied our taste. In the dining room, a small but well-stocked cellar kept the bottles ready to be served to customers in the right environment. Certainly even the off-season period allowed us to experience a totally peaceful evening with excellent service and we feel we want to recommend this place to which we will certainly return, returning to the wonderful places that surround it.

09/03/2024: Meraviglioso. Da non perdere, cibo super, servizio incantevole, cibo di altri tempi... vale il viaggio. Fidatevi frequento 200 ristoranti ogni anno e questo, nel complesso, è uno dei migliori. Da non perdere...

25/02/2024: È la seconda volta che torniamo in questo ristorante e siamo molto soddisfatti. Si mangia benissimo e il personale è gentile e attento ai suoi ospiti. Buono il rapporto qualità e prezzo. Buonissimi i tortelli al ragù, ripieni di ricotta, da provare il dolce con le mele e la crema calda.

22/01/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo la domenica per la prima volta dopo aver prenotato. Il personale Gentile.location e vista stupenda. Il mangiare buono anche se i tortelloni maremmani erano 3 di numero. Piatto povero nella simmetria ma non nel prezzo. L unico rammarico in un ristorante come questo il tovagliolo deve essere di stoffa,e non di carta.

03/09/2023: Sono perplessa dalle recensioni che dicono che di messicano ha poco… c’è un menù intero di pietanze messicane (certo se uno ordina la cotoletta)!! Il cibo era tutto buono è molto saporito, ma le cinque stelle sono soprattutto per chi ci ha servito (credo il titolare), non solo gentilissimo, ma con una passione unica per il suo lavoro e per i piatti che con grande pazienza ci ha spiegato. Torneremo sicuramente!

17/09/2023: Siamo stati all’hotel Vatluna in agosto 2023 e sono stati 4 giorni meravigliosi, un hotel incantevole con piscina con vista sulla Maremma. La nostra camera era comoda, con spazi ampi e molto pulita. Il servizio e la colazione (con vista sulle colline) impeccabili, cortesia e sorriso sempre presenti. Ampiamente consigliato.

11/09/2023: Bellissima esperienza! Abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni! Camere pulite, parcheggio privato, vista mozzafiato! Il personale è di una gentilezza e professionalità immensa! Bravissimi! Il paese è un’oasi di tranquillità unica! Consigliato !

27/03/2024: The pizza, first courses, second courses and desserts are very good. Family run, friendly environment: you feel at home. Possibility of takeaway. Every now and then it's nice to go back.
