The welcome is courteous and friendly, the service prompt and never intrusive. The food is good and of adequate quantity. The flavors are pleasant, neither too subtle nor too bold. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the dessert: the baked gelato (the restaurant's signature dish) didn't leave me with any particular impressions. It's good, but not exceptional. The ambiance is charming, but based on the expectations I had anticipated from the outside, I was expecting something a little more sophisticated. Overall, a largely positive review.

15/04/2025: Piccolo ristorante VERA CHICCA , assolutamente gestito alla perfezione con attenzione, gentilezza, competenza . Semplice , senza fronzoli, ma assolutamente VERO. Il tutto che corona un menu e una qualità davvero sorprendente con pietanze tipiche buonissime e soprattutto guarnite con dettagli che fanno la differenza .. che dire, bravissimi continuate così!

24/08/2025: I went to get a crepe, asking for it with only sugar because, due to health reasons, I couldn't add any other toppings. Although I've ordered crepes with only sugar several times before, I found this one too lacking in sweetness and therefore unappetizing. I then went inside to politely ask for a packet of sugar to add, but the response I received from the girl at the counter was very rude. I was told several times in a rude and annoyed tone that if I wanted a packet of sugar, I should go to the bar next door. I was disappointed because my request was more than legitimate, and it was made in a kind and polite manner. I recommend more appropriate behavior towards customers.

14/08/2025: We arrived at the restaurant unexpectedly, without a reservation. We requested a table for three. We were assigned a table quickly and efficiently. The woman who served us was efficient and friendly. We sat down, and after a few minutes, a young waiter came to take our order. We completed our entire order except for dessert, which is important for what follows. We ordered two starters and three pizzas as second courses. A half-pint of red wine, a glass of prosecco, and still and sparkling water. We asked the waiter to serve our starters with our daughter's pizza so she wouldn't eat alone. After that, we waited a few minutes, about 15 minutes, and then we received our first courses. All very good and on time. We finished our starters, and our daughter finished her pizza. Unfortunately, from that moment on, we did nothing but wait. We ordered another half pint of red wine to make the wait more pleasant and reminded our server twice about our pizzas. On the second reminder, he told us that this was the normal wait and that there were a lot of orders. After an hour of waiting for the two pizzas, we decided to get up to pay the bill. We explained all this to the person at the cashier, and they told us that this was normal and that if we didn't want to wait that long, we should ask to be served both at the same time. Strange for a starter and a main course... the result, after much discussion, was that the owner considered it normal for a table to wait an hour for two pizzas, which I personally don't understand in my experience in restaurants. As an aside, we pointed out that a neighboring table who arrived after us had not only eaten and had their coffee, then paid, but that we hadn't received anything yet. So we decided to pay our dues and leave without being able to enjoy our pizzas. It's a shame, because I was looking forward to the experience, which had started off so well and ended up in the restaurant's obscurity. I don't know if it was a misunderstanding in the service or the communication between the service and the kitchen, but when a customer reminds the server once, it seems to me that asking the cook to prioritize the order would be normal. I hope you don't wait as long as we did. By the way, another detail related to the neighboring table: a young couple who apparently had the patience to wait for a pizza with burnt edges. I'll end with the disgruntled owner who slammed the cash register when I told him I disagreed with the wait. I think his head waiter's diplomacy would be beneficial to her. I'm not worried about the restaurant; it's full every day, but this kind of situation can be very negative in the long run. Jeu hopes they improve on these points.

31/05/2025: **5 Star Review for La Terrazza degli Etruschi, Vetulonia** I just celebrated my 49th birthday with my daughter Sofia in an unforgettable way at La Terrazza degli Etruschi, and I can't help but share my extraordinary experience! Even though we were late and everything was improvised, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Cascia, who immediately knew how to make us feel at home. The first courses with Cinta Senese ragù were simply delicious, a true explosion of flavors, perfectly paired with a glass of Chianti superiore red wine that enhanced every bite. And finally, the homemade desserts were the icing on the cake of an already perfect lunch. The panoramic terrace offers a breathtaking view that makes this place even more magical, and the availability of the terrace for us, despite our delay, was truly appreciated. I highly recommend La Terrazza degli Etruschi for its kindness, hospitality and, above all, for the excellent food. An experience not to be missed! Thank you so much for making my birthday so special!

07/08/2025: We've been going there for about 26 years. The reason? A charming place in the Roccamare pine forest, where you feel right at home. Exceptional cuisine (try the seafood rice, it's a delight, and the paccheri with mussels and pecorino cheese, and the gnocchi with sea bream sauce are equally delicious!), good pizza, as are the meat dishes—there's nothing we haven't tried over the years, and it's always delicious! Superb service, the waiters are polite, attentive, kind, and thoughtful, and the owners have an old-fashioned kindness. Low prices for being by the sea!!! Go there, you won't regret it!

21/08/2025: It's been years since I've found a restaurant that cooked fish this well. Perfect flavors, perfectly cooked. I ordered takeout yesterday, and it was packaged so well that it was still hot after an hour. You can see the attention they give to their customers from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely return. My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff for their friendliness and professionalism.

21/08/2025: Our personal experience: the place is nice and clean, the staff is very kind and helpful. The food isn't bad, just average. We tried a bit of everything, from appetizers to pizzas to pasta dishes. Among these, the best dish was the spaghetti with tomato sauce—simple, perfectly cooked, and plentiful. We were disappointed, however, with the Caprese salad: three slices of tomato and three slices of mozzarella (regular mozzarella, not buffalo mozzarella) for €14 each. A macchiato is €3, a regular coffee is €2.50. €3 per person for a cover charge (knife, fork, and paper napkin). In our opinion, these prices are high for the quality-price ratio. To be fair, the receipt showing the prices paid is attached. We won't be returning.

We had a delicious baked eggplant with stracciatella for an appetizer, followed by delicious spaghetti with mussels and bottarga, and a tender and flavorful fish main course. To finish, we dined on two wonderful seadas! We highly recommend this place; the atmosphere is simple but elegant, airy, and located in a square with a beautiful fountain. We'll be back!
