02/07/2025: I stopped by this trattoria right at the historic entrance to Capalbio for a quick dinner that turned into an experience: what can I say, a discovery with a capital S. Authentic trattoria, real flavors, an excellent mix of tradition and modernity. Pici with white pork ragù of indescribable softness. Highly recommended

23/07/2025: Everything was very good, the service was friendly and fast, the prices were fair, the meat was excellent, as were the pasta dishes, and the local, zero-mile vegetables... It's a shame, but it's justified because we're in the heart of the Maremma countryside, that there were a lot of insects, which fortunately disappeared by 9:00 PM, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars! Finally, I suggest replacing the outdoor tables and chairs, some of which were very worn.

19/07/2025: It's a true Tuscan trattoria, offering traditional dishes from days gone by. Excellent quality food and superb meats. Unforgettable fried sage. The simple and authentic atmosphere makes you feel at home. The owners are truly talented and knowledgeable.

23/03/2025: Bella scoperta! Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo ristorante per caso, di ritorno da Siena. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, soprattutto Andrea disponibile e accogliente. Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi giusti. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

08/12/2024: Family-run restaurant, so simple and welcoming, with an outdoor veranda that can be used in the summer. Traditional cuisine, more than generous portions. Excellent price/quality ratio. Even though I ate a very substantial meal, I had no digestion problems. I will definitely return.

25/07/2025: I found it by chance on The Fork and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was truly excellent and the staff were very helpful. The appetizers were exquisite, and the wild boar pappardella was truly well-made...just writing this review makes me hungry again...I'd say highly recommended.

21/07/2025: Sinceramente non lo conoscevo e devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta, dove prevale molta attenzione per Il cliente e quel pizzico di semplicità che ti sembra dì stare a casa.Complimenti vivissimi alla signora Gigliola donna sorridente e di buon humor che prepara dèi dolci eccezionali.

24/07/2025: Bello! Grande! Locanda Rossa is a magnificent place, very well maintained with a very attentive team, understanding of my partial command of Italian and English. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to junior following our arrival. We had taken the Garden Tarots package to visit the nearby museum. The concierge booked the tickets and shuttle rides for us. On site, the swimming pool and sports facilities are top. The decor is sublime. Everything was perfect, we will be back 🤗

20/07/2025: Spent three nights while visiting southern Tuscany. It’s a beautiful hotel, nicely located if you plan to visit other small towns around and the coast. We found the concierge super friendly and helpful sorting out our beach reservations, the rest of staff perhaps not as friendly, we found them a bit cold and dry. Nice gym and good swimming pools for both adults only and children.

05/07/2025: we learned that the real Florentine steak is with fillet, at the trattoria da Carla, mother of the current owner, you eat divinely ... the Florentine steak melted in your mouth, the tagliatelle made strictly by hand with wild boar ragù amazing ... the place is well-kept, the kitchen (always shown to us by the owner ... and it's not for everyone ...) very clean ... compliments to everyone we will definitely return ... obviously recommended for info: it is not open 24 hours a day as erroneously reported on the web 🤣🤣🤣

25/04/2025: Very nice, welcoming place. The very nice owner and the super friendly waitresses, we went as a family with two children and a couple of friends with a girl. Excellent food and super affordable prices. I highly recommend.

17/07/2025: Tutto perfetto, dall'accoglienza, alla camera arredata con stile, ai pasti! La gentilezza, la disponibilità e la simpatia di tutto lo Staff sono i punti di forza di questo Agriturismo. La colazione ottima e abbondante con prodotti fatti in casa e locali. Crostate, torte e ciambelle una più buona dell'altra. Marmellate degne di nota. Bella la piscina e bellissimo tutto l'ambiente circostante, curato in ogni angolo con piante e fiori, tutto ben tenuto. Stra consigliato per un soggiorno nei dintorni di Capalbio!!

17/06/2025: Classic fake ugly place with the village bar at the entrance then in reality the dinner starts and the food is excellent, the fresh and pulpy fish mussels, sea bream, turbot... homemade pies very good and attentive and friendly staff... even the nice homemade quality dishes. They made my mother super happy who is a saltworker of Margherita so you don't joke about the fish.. and the sour cherry dessert is the icing on the cake. To date they deserve the best.

01/07/2025: Today I ate at the restaurant, although it was a bit crowded, nothing too crowded for two people. I wanted dessert and coffee, but after a long wait and flagging down the waiter three times, it was impossible. They exhausted my patience. All three times, the waiter signaled that he'd heard I needed something, smiled, and ignored me. It's a shame, since it's very close to work and is a daily dining option. I don't recommend this place at all because of the poor service I received.

30/06/2025: Great parking. Perfect dinner. Pappardelle with wild boar... mmmm. Great service, very friendly staff. Too bad we have to leave the next morning. Highly recommend.
