29/12/2024: Trattoria caratteristica, personale professionale e molto cortese, tutto ottimo, dal tagliere, alle tagliatelle al tartufo, Pici con maialino e finocchietto e all'aglione, capretto, trippa e tagliata di manzo al lardo e pistacchio, quest'ultima veramente buona . Vino rosso della casa molto corposo. Ottimo rapporto prezzo e qualità. 👏👏👏

30/10/2024: I was on Sunday 27 October, 4 people. Excellent food, we had an appetizer of excellent game cured meats, the first courses were also excellent, but the most important thing was fantastic quality/price!!!!

26/10/2024: We went to this wonderful restaurant today, my partner and I and my puppy (THEY ACCEPT ANIMALS AND LOVE THEM!). High level food, we had a platter of mixed cold cuts and one of game cold cuts, 1 first course of ricotta and spinach gnocchi with truffle and a polenta with wild boar ragù, as dessert the fig and almond tart (SUBLIME) and 2 bitter. Super honest price for the quality of the products, the environment, the friendliness of the owner and the girl who waits at the tables. I highly recommend it to you

08/12/2024: Family-run restaurant, therefore simple and welcoming, with an external veranda that can be used in summer. Traditional cuisine, more than generous portions. Excellent price/quality ratio. Even though I ate a very substantial meal, I didn't have any digestion problems. I will definitely come back.

10/12/2024: My first time in Capalbio, and I relied on Google and its reviews. I have to say I have rarely been better in a restaurant. First of all, it must be said that at dinner they are organized in two shifts. However, I suggest booking the first shift and arriving 5 minutes early (with all due respect to latecomers). Arriving first, we were welcomed and served promptly and promptly. Among the starters I would like to point out the smoked beef carpaccio, light and stimulating. Then we tried the Zuppa Tullio, a house specialty suitable for the autumn climate, which enchanted us. The second most intriguing is the grilled suckling pig, which we tried with battered and fried porcini mushrooms. Excellent combination. For dessert I tried the Tullio ice cream, which combines the aromas of Sage and Morellino. Everything was spectacular and I confess that throughout the dinner I tried things I had never tasted before (and I'm a man of the world). In conclusion, the bill was fair and partly facilitated by the agreement with our hotel, which gave us a 10% discount. Not only do I recommend it but I plan to return to try the rest of the menu: 5 stars absolutely deserved.

20/10/2024: So we found this Italian restaurant by chance and we were not disappointed. Sometimes the best places have the least exposure, this is one of them. The name might not do it justice but the food definitely does. This has to be one 0f the best pizzas I have ever had in Italy that, and the wine, was amazing. It has the typical feel of an Italian restaurant but it is a hidden gem that is worth visiting if you are in the area. They speak English and the ambience is very relaxed and laid back. The staff are friendly and very helpful. From my experience, a great evening, great pizza and definitely value for money.

30/11/2024: It is one of those places that you stop but with little expectation of finding something good. And I was wrong. I had the best cappuccino and croisant I have had so far. They treated me very well and were very friendly. I recommend it 100%

23/11/2024: Apri la porta e sempre c'è qualcuno ad accoglierti con un buongiorno, buona sera... c'è per tutti i gusti!! Anche per quelli più particolari come me che cerchiamo una cucina vegetariana curata dove il prodotto locale lascia la sua impronta. La cucina è sempre disposta a offrirti qualcosa di speciale. E non solo a novembre, tutto l'anno!! Partendo dal aperitivo a un buon primo!!! Grazie a tutta la famiglia delle Burle!! Che ci coccolate e ci fatte sentire a casa! A presto! Paula

04/11/2024: Structure located in the countryside, very nice entrance, I didn't quite understand the style of the structure and the furnishings, very heterogeneous. Service in general needs to be improved, cuisine needs to be improved, good quality breakfast but the offer needs to be expanded a bit, in my opinion it is wrong to include paid off-the-card options. Staff clothing to be reviewed, breakfast room with somewhat limited table spacing, among other things very small tables.. In my opinion, to achieve excellence you need more attention to detail.

04/11/2024: Everything perfect apart from an unpleasant episode upon our arrival at the property. We booked a double room, previously specifying via email that there would be three of us (with a small child who always sleeps between us when traveling) and the person who welcomed us and checked us in didn't miss the point. 'opportunity to underline: how small the room was for three people, commenting that for a stay of only two nights, however, they could accommodate us, finishing, at a later time, after having described the structure, underlining the fact that our choice of room had been for an entry level and therefore we could not expect more or more space. It was very unpleasant and immediately left us with a feeling of inadequacy, as if we had already been told at the beginning of the holiday that our choice was wrong and that we would therefore not have a good time. I underline the fact that we are expert travelers with children and obviously, before booking a room, we look at its square meters and therefore we know very well the space we need available for sleeping and the time we will spend inside the room. A real shame that the start of our wonderful stay in such an impeccable place was unpleasant. Also and above all because the room proved to be adequate for our needs and expectations, indeed much more spacious (especially the bathroom) than we expected.

11/01/2025: I have known this wonderful place for many years, the food is good and the food is always fresh, the staff are friendly and welcoming, I recommend booking, even though every time I happened to go without booking, they always found room for two.

29/09/2024: As always; splendid food, nice service with a smile even if it's full and very busy. Prebook table to be sure to get one. Or wait and smile, and they will find one for you in a while!!

28/12/2024: Stop for a quick lunch, we only ordered 2 first courses. Good and quality. Service a little slow....we waited quite a long time considering that the place was practically empty. Maybe outside they were busy with aperitifs but in the internal room there were 2 tables.

14/12/2024: Il Frantoio is a historic venue in Capalbio, a meeting point for an aperitif, cultural activities, also a bookshop and ecological boutique. The environment is pleasant and the atmosphere friendly. Then there is the restaurant: elegant, original and with a beautiful fireplace in winter and a beautiful terrace in summer. The food is very good and there is a good wine list. Prices a little high but worth it.

06/01/2025: The real family-run farmhouse. Well-kept rooms and delicious, genuine food. The very friendly managers knew how to make us feel at home.

09/09/2024: Il voto è un misto di agriturismo e ristorante. Siamo stati due notti in un appartamento che andrebbe un po’ rimodernato sia negli interni (anni settanta) che nel mobilio (piuttosto antiquato): comunque va bene per un soggiorno breve in quanto completo di tutto; probabilmente l’abitazione fa parte della vecchia struttura che sicuramente verrà ammodernata in futuro. Colazione ripetitiva ed un po’ povera di salati mentre le torte (buone) pur variando sono abbastanza semplici ed identiche (stile ciambellone con varianti di gusto… impercettibili)…insomma considerati i prezzi medio alti ti aspetteresti di più. Esterni (giardini e piscina) carini e ben tenuti anche se in piscina siamo stati un pomeriggio letteralmente infastiditi dalle mosche. Infine la ristorazione serale: un buffet mare monti a 30€ (più costi di bevande e dolci ) per una serie di piatti poco tipici (ci saremmo aspetti un po’ di carne di cinghiale o qualche primo tipico della maremma…nulla di tutto ciò) per nulla convincenti: alla fine si è pagato meno in centro a Capalbio mangiando al ristorante piatti tipici. Altra nota riguarda la sala ristorante: andrebbe un po’ ammodernata con gusto, e’ davvero anonima. Infine un servizio bar nelle ore serali o di giorno ad uso piscina e’ consigliato. Gestori simpatici.

29/08/2024: Per avere la fama di ristorante ormai di vecchia data di Capalbio, peccato che ancora non abbiano imparato a fare ristorazione, i camerieri nonostante tutto sono dei ragazzi che li capisco sono lì per lavoro e se la cavano, ma la prima commensale, che tra l'altro credo che sia anche la padrona, aiuto di una antipatia, vederle un sorriso in stampato in faccia..... Il mangiare purtroppo è veramente di scarsa qualità per quei prezzi, scusate ma ho mangiato fritti misti molto meglio cucinati e di abbondanza superiore anche a 18 euro, mentre qui lo paghi 20, ma non sono i 2 euro....che influiscono. Il sale è un'altra pecca, cibo salatissimo specialmente nei piatti di pesce, sconsigliatissimi, spaghetti alle vongole e sempre spaghetti al nero di seppia, che frà sale e pesce sfatto e insapore, booh...... indescrivibile. E poi i tempi di attesa belli lunghi, sia per il primo, che per il secondo. Insomma un'esperienza che sia per i prezzi che per il gusto di farsi una vera mangiata di pesce, non vale veramente la pena di fare.

02/01/2025: Sono andato con la famiglia gli ultimi giorni del 2024 mi sono trovato molto bene molto colpito per la gentilezza e professionalità del Titolare e del suo Team, ho mangiato diverse pietanze presentate nella legenda menù del Ristorante. Mi sono permesso delle critiche per testare la preparazione dei piatti sono state accettate sono rimasto colpito dalla professionalità e gentilezza. Consiglio questo Ristorante

31/08/2024: Meh… Honestly, I wasn't satisfied. Small portions, high prices and average quality, nothing exceptional. Let's clarify: you don't eat badly, but personally (starter, first course, 3 second courses and 3 Sweets) I don't think there is anything that goes beyond the average. Good but not exceptional products, normal vegetables and good but not exceptional desserts, Not even valorization of local products. All with very small portions (for example the Potatoes, as a side dish, were 4 - four - slices of about 2 mm for 4 euros) It's not bad, but personally I don't think it's worth these 5 stars, high price for the quality and quantity offered
