08/01/2026: We found everything excellent: the warm welcome, the excellent food (the pici with "Medici" ragù were superb), the beautiful dining room. We definitely recommend it to anyone passing through Greve.

08/01/2026: The atmosphere was refined and the staff were very helpful and professional, ready to answer any of our questions. We ordered a terrine of liver with vin santo (a dish prepared exclusively for this Christmas season), which was superb. Afterwards, we continued with pasta with pecorino and truffle, and pappardelle with wild boar, both mouth-watering. All washed down with an excellent bottle of Chianti Classico. The price was reasonable for the quality and the location. Highly recommended.

02/11/2025: From the moment the staff opened the door and greeted me, I felt this was a warm and inviting restaurant. The sign on the wall proclaiming that they had over 300 bottles of wine confirmed this was the place for me, a wine lover. The food was excellent, and the male staff member, despite his young age, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, even helping me choose the wine! The owner of the farmhouse recommended this restaurant, and it was definitely a delightful dinner. I look forward to another visit. 👍👍👍

14/01/2026: A very interesting winery tour. The woman who led the tour (I don't remember her name, but she had red hair) was always very kind and available to answer any questions we had. The wines were very good, and we were also pleasantly surprised by the oil and vinegar. The scenery was splendid. :)

13/01/2026: If you're visiting the area, this is a can't miss. Dan was a great tour through the castle. Wine tasting was excellent. Learned a lot about Chianti and balsamic. And you can order wine that they will ship to your house. Strongly recommend.

We sometimes felt like lords of the manor! Ideally located between Florence and Siena in a peaceful and stunning setting, we were fortunate enough to share a New Year's Eve dinner and discover exceptional cuisine and wines of rare finesse. In short, go without hesitation. We hope to one day return to the heart of this wonderful Tuscany.

14/01/2026: While waiting for the tasting scheduled for the afternoon, we had the pleasure of stopping at this little gem hidden in Panzano. Their menu is limited but typical (e.g., the Cinta Senese pancetta is a must-try). We recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and, for dessert, the cantucci with Vinsanto. Despite the slightly higher cover charge, the quality/price ratio is fair. The only drawback is the limited parking nearby. Still, recommended.

11/01/2026: The experience at the old Cecchini butcher's shop was truly a treat. It began with an aperitif with house wine and lard crostini served in the alley outside. Dario's cheerful welcome was both entertaining and charming, a man who does this job for passion, not for money, especially considering his international fame. This sentiment was confirmed by a waitress who told us that, despite not being so young, she personally carves the meat every day. The place is practically a multi-story building with tons of tables. The idea of ​​organizing convivial tables is truly delightful, especially if you're lucky enough to find the right people. Another smart choice is to work with set menus, so as to better manage the service and eliminate food waste from compulsive ordering at the counter. Furthermore, you have a clear understanding of your bill, which, in my opinion, for a highly renowned place, is extremely affordable and proportionate to the quantity (you leave full but not rolling) and quality of the food. Returning to the topic of food waste, the policy is to avoid leftovers, so the waiters, extremely kind and professional, encourage you to take your food home, providing disposable trays and branded shopping bags! As for the meat, it was excellent, cooked according to traditional recipes. I personally found their francesinha and the bone broth, which they serve in a cup, to be delicious! Ultimately, their reputation is absolutely deserved. I recommend stopping by Panzano and trying this experience. Those who want can also buy a souvenir from the butcher's shop.

19/12/2025: The food is excellent, but they don't always have ceciaca pasta. It would be enough if they kept it in reserve so they always had it. The dishes are very good, but the portions are small. I went with some friends and we had an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and coffee. We spent €45, but we left still hungry. The portions aren't at all generous, and there are limited options for celiacs/gluten-free options.

17/12/2025: There were two of us. The place is very homey and welcoming. We both had the pasta del gallo, vegetable side dishes, two bruschettas, and a large slice of Chianina beef. Everything was really good!! The staff is very friendly, and there's a family atmosphere. Perhaps I expected the price to be a little lower, but overall the experience was positive.

20/10/2025: We stayed there for two nights. We appreciated the beautiful and well-kept environment. In particular, the impeccable cleanliness and the size of the bathroom, which was above the average standards of other hotels. The location is ideal for traveling the Chianti road to San Gimignano, which is considered one of the most beautiful roads in Italy.
