17/01/2024: I remembered this restaurant as one of the best in Trapani, but I must say that this time I was very disappointed. I was there for a reception... I didn't like the food, the meat of the couscous was tough, the service equal to a second-rate restaurant, the place was quite neglected... the chandelier was a little shabby with lamps broken, missing and some not working, dirty lampshades, same thing for the outdoor sofas, creaking parquet. Everything needs to be revisited a bit to return to its ancient splendors.

22/12/2023: We came for dinner on the Friday before Christmas. Taverna Paradis was highly recommended to us by neighbors of the tavern. The service was excellent. Unfortunately we were very dissatisfied with the food. Starter fish balls with tomato sauce, was ok. The couscous with fish was a disgrace! A bone-dry pile of couscous with 2 mini pieces of fish. Each piece of fish is approx. 2 x 3cm small! impudence. Spaghetti with fish: Spaghetti too hard, fish added in small pieces, everything very salty. A pity.

28/06/2024: Servizio rapido, personale giovane e gentile. Fritto misto discreto, ma in S. Vito lo Capo si trova molto meglio al medesimo costo

08/06/2024: We were on holiday from 30 May to 6 June. Hotel literally a stone's throw from the sea and the centre. Strategic location. Basic room with good spaces, excellent cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner 2 evenings in the hotel restaurant. The cuisine was truly remarkable!!! We will be back.

07/08/2024: Pessima esperienza…. Abbiamo preso un antipasto con cozze e moscardini inesistenti e sostituiti con del polpo duro… la frittura che dovevo essere di calamari era invece con totani duri… ed infine il conto..150 euro… da non tornarci più

18/08/2024: While traveling around Trapani I tried the following place, nothing to say about the environment and the service except good, unfortunately I'm a little disappointed about the food (I had 2 arancini and two cocktails): unfortunately I didn't find the two arancini tasty ( I tried another place a little further on that made arancini to evaluate the difference) I don't know if it was because they had been there since the morning or not warmed up, drink almost normal

11/08/2024: In a very nice corner of the center of Trapani. Food without infamy and without praise, poorly filled piadinas. Commercial beers and some craft beers without sprint. Classic place that waits for the tourist without trying to give anything extra

02/10/2023: ATTENTION PRICES! A few evenings ago, my wife and I passed by the place during the cus cus festival, attracted by the sign offering a good price for meat and fish cus cus, a few euros more than the one on the stands. The sign in the photo shows 12 euros for both. Since we are not naive, having checked on the menu that the prices were higher than on the sign (but given the festival period we thought that there could be an adjustment to the price) we expressly indicated that we entered for what was advertised and that we wanted those two dishes in poster. They took the order without adding anything! All very good but when the bill arrived the surprise, expertly organised, of making us pay €18 (meat) and €14 (fish) respectively. We asked the waiter for explanations and he embarrassedly told us that he didn't know anything and that the sign outside was recent, that he would go and talk to the owner. He came back, almost trying to bargain, showing us that a 2 euro discount had been included on the receipt. I laughed when I said that the "discount" had to be 8 euros :) At that point he went back to talk to the owner and we followed him to the checkout. The owner nodded and mumbled something saying that the price on the receipt was correct. We paid and left without saying anything else basically because for 6 euros they didn't deserve our time and discussions. The dishes are good (I would have given 4 stars) but... it's a shame for this attitude aimed at scamming the tourist. It's already bad that they try (the doubt remains whether it was done on purpose or not) but that they even insist on this strategy even when it is pointed out to them, it means that there is profound bad faith!

31/07/2024: Arrivati a San Vito lo Capo, girando per la via principale io e mia moglie avevamo voglia di qualcosa di dolce, cosi scorgiamo il Panificio Playa 2 appena entrati oltre all'ottimo profumo i nostri occhi non sapevano cosa scegliere, alla fine la nostra scelta e caduta su 2 semplici ed ottimi cornetti, naturalmente prima di andare via da San Vito lo Capo ci siamo ritornati una seconda volta, questa volta la nostra scelta e caduta su 2 pezzi di pizza bianca farcita con prosciutto, mozzarella e acciughe, un grazie va alla super Antonella ragazza super simpatica.

08/07/2024: È un panificio che offre una grande varietà di pizze, arancine e tante altre sfiziosità a prezzi onesti. La posizione è strategica vicino alla spiaggia. Lo Consiglio.

02/07/2024: Ordino due cannoli, ad una cliente servita prima di me, vengono confezionati con granella di pistacchi, a me nulla... chiedo sorridente " e un po di granella di pistacchio?" risposta: " il cannolo lo facciamo cosi, è gia abbastanza sostanzioso!" poi scocciata esegue. La madre alla cassa, che pare non avvezza a usare il registratore di cassa, per finire in bellezza, mi fa pagare una granita media al prezzo della grande. Che dire? Vivamente sconsigliato, non si trattano così i turisti .

21/08/2024: The worst pizza I have ever eaten in a restaurant looked like frozen pizza and even the ingredients of the pizza itself had an unpleasant taste. The bill was excessive, even more so due to the low quality of the pizza. The only positive note was the kindness of the waiter who served us. Once at the checkout the owner insisted because, according to her, she didn't want us to split the bill because for her it was "INCONVENIENT TO MAKE TWO PAYMENTS" All in all I would never go back there again!!

04/09/2024: Unacceptable service, we came as a group of five people, the dishes did not arrive on time, one ate a cold pasta by himself, we asked for parmesan for the pasta and he brought it to us by force In addition, a plate never came!

I highly recommend Pasticceria Colicchia to all granita lovers! It is an unmissable place for anyone in Trapani. I could eat it every day!
