07/12/2025: I was doing the Sicilian transversal and found myself sleeping in the forecourt after having set up my tent. The owner, who happened to be there, didn't hesitate for a moment to give me a roof over my head and my sleeping bag inside the restaurant, especially given the very cold and humid night that was slowly advancing.

26/01/2026: Very nice place. It reminds me so much of French patisseries. Cleanliness, courtesy, and helpfulness. I had the opportunity to speak with the chef, a gentleman who loves his profession. I found this love in his desserts. The products are excellent quality, and the results are evident. Thanks, Chef!

26/12/2025: A pleasant bar/patisserie/cafe. We bought a few savory snacks and a pistachio cornetto. The savory snacks were excellent, tasty, and stuffed to the brim with meat. Haven't tried the cornetto yet ;)

11/05/2026: Thank you... Thank you all... Wonderful evening. A charming location, with attention to detail, spacious rooms, and a spectacular garden. Professional, welcoming, and kind staff. Amazing aperitif, impeccable fried food. Elegant and detailed dishes. We all enjoyed the dinner, it was excellent!! We were satisfied with the quality and price. I recommend this venue for any event. I sincerely thank the owner for his kindness and professionalism. Thank you.

24/09/2025: The left side sleeps four, with a double bed and a bunk bed (more suitable for children). The "kitchen" is practically empty: no coffee maker or coffee pot, no kettle, no basics like paper towels or a jug, a pathetic two-burner gas stove, just a few chairs and a table, no mosquito net (on the bed) or fan, as advertised on rental websites. It's like camping (without a camper). Kitchen utensils are sparse. It's been nicely restored, but there could have been more furniture. You can only sit on a chair, like in a cafe. For €75/night, I expected something different. The welcome could also have been better: the chairs were still upside down on the table when we entered the building.

29/06/2025: Passer dans le secteur et ne pas s’arrêter dans ce restaurant serait une grossière erreur !!! Nous avons réservé là par hasard , souhaitant un restaurant qui proposait des grillades ! C’est excellent ! On choisit un peu commie dans une boucherie, ce que l’on a envie de manger ! Pour nous ce fut, fromage grillé, filet de bœuf et une saucisse juste pour goûter ! Le tout accompagné d’un vin rouge très bon et d’une salade composée maison ! Wouah ! Tout était super bon, super frais !! Juste un grand merci à toute votre sympathique famille pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et votre excellente cuisine. Comme je vous l’ai dit de vive voix , je vous confirme que ce soir nous avons fait le meilleur repas depuis que nous sommes en Sicile ... et pourtant nous sommes très très fine gueule ! Gratie mile !

31/08/2025: A friend and I stayed at this hotel the first week of August 2025. We had a great time; the rooms were always clean and tidy, with towels changed daily. The breakfast was varied and complete, including homemade desserts. The staff was friendly and helpful. A heartfelt thank you ❤️ to Luana for her kindness and helpful advice. Hugs!

07/08/2025: We stayed at Gabbiano Azzurro and had a truly wonderful time. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. We started with the house appetizer, rich and tasty, followed by the busiate pasta with grouper, which was spectacular. For our main course, we had sea bream, incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. To top it off, we had the "bacio pantesco": one of the best desserts we've had on the island, made just right. Fast service, excellent food, and more than fair prices for such a seafood dinner. If we return to Pantelleria, a stop here will be a must.
