28/12/2025: Review for takeout. Bad experience, disappointing. The uramaki were all different in size, poorly cut, with very little fish and a lot of rice. There was a lot of cream cheese everywhere, especially on the gunkam, which were very disappointing—basically rice and philadelphia. Bad. I don't recommend it.

22/10/2025: It's a fishing cooperative, serving fresh local fish. The highly recommended pasta appetizers also contain a decent amount of fish and are filling. The fish come straight from the boat and, like everywhere else in the Mediterranean, are rather small. If you like thawed pollock fillet—preferably breaded—this isn't the place for you. They serve very good and inexpensive wine.

16/10/2025: A simple restaurant, with just a few tables in a single room that can feel quite cramped when crowded. The menu isn't available online; it's written on a chalkboard inside. Simple, unpretentious options. The dishes are decent and uninspiring. Service is poor. The pierced waitress never cracked a smile and was in a hurry to clear the table. The owner, also unsmiling and not very hospitable, paid more attention to his loyal customers than to others. (We were "passed" twice before ordering even though we arrived first.) It may have been a coincidence, but if I were to return to Trapani, I wouldn't return here.

25/02/2026: Order a whole pizza and prepare for a perfect Sicilian pizza experience. If you wear a Brioni suit, you can't complain that you look like Marcello Mastriani in 1955. That's what you bought, and you look better than you used to! Same goes here. You come here for Sicilian pizza from this particular hood. That means you will eat a crust that balances gentle crispness with the doughiest sensation since you annoyed your new born nephew by pinching his cheeks. The toppings will either be that sublime mix of tomato piquant sweetness, or the unmissable creaminess of buffalo mozzarella. Either way, this is a treat that will leave you more satisfied than maggot in a morgue. However, if you don't like Brioni suits, or Sicilian pizza, head home and make a B line for Polyester Bob's suits, dominoes pick up, and save yourself time, and Italy: the bother.

It offers a good value for money, though there's room for improvement. I suggest updating the furnishings, lighting, and image to bring the place into line with its surroundings.

20/10/2025: One of the few places open on Sundays these days. The place is a bit stuffy, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The sandwiches are very good, as are the desserts.

22/02/2026: I had the pleasure of lunch at the Cotto & Mangiato restaurant, nestled in the countryside, with a truly splendid view of manicured fields and vineyards. A truly charming place, perfect for a relaxing Sunday. The food was truly excellent. The Sunday menu is varied and interesting, although, if I may offer a small suggestion, I would add a few more first courses to further expand the selection. The first courses we tried were excellent, plentiful, well-balanced, and flavorful. For the second course, we had the mixed grill, with well-cooked, tender, and high-quality meat. A very positive note, though not always obvious, is the perfect amount of salt, which balances the dishes without overpowering the flavors. The service was attentive and friendly; the lady who served us was truly kind and hospitable, making us feel at ease. The ambiance is another strong point: an elegant yet rustic setting, meticulously maintained and in harmony with the natural surroundings. Overall, a very positive experience. It's a place I recommend for anyone looking for good food in a truly beautiful location.

08/02/2026: I'm not giving 0 stars because it's not allowed. We had two cones and a waffle. What can I say about the ice cream? It was tasteless, but it was too high quality! The waffle needed a hacksaw to cut. I recommend it to everyone if you're tired of life.

21/03/2026: Unreliable... I called at 6:00 PM to have the pizzas delivered to my house at 8:00 PM. It's 8:30 PM and still no one has shown up... I called... they answered telling me that they still have to make the pizzas... In the end we went to pick up the pizzas and to top it off, 1 of the 4 pizzas is inedible because it tastes of smoke, burnt... beyond the ash... Never again!!!!

15/02/2026: I recommended this place to my nephew for his birthday, since he's not from Marsala. At the end of the evening, we had the cake we'd brought returned to us. The next day at lunch, we opened our cake and, as if by magic, more than a quarter of it was missing. I was extremely disappointed with their behavior, but also disappointed at the embarrassment I made by recommending this pizzeria.

13/09/2025: Very comfortable atmosphere both summer and winter, excellent service, and excellent pizza, especially the Villa Paola. It's a shame they don't have draft beer. Ample parking.

26/08/2025: The place is really cute; in the summer, tables are set up outside in a quaint courtyard, surrounded by greenery and lit by pretty strings of fairy lights. It's a real shame about the waitress's "welcome"; as soon as we were seated, she asked us all to choose the same dish "because we only have four burners." When I replied, citing our different needs (one person is vegetarian and the other doesn't eat fish), she replied with an annoyed expression, "Do as you wish, I warned you. Don't complain if you eat separately afterwards."... is this a restaurant or not? 🤣 We ordered two grilled fish and two identical first courses anyway, to make things easier for the kitchen; the other diners chose two other first courses (including vegetarian busiate pasta with basil cream) and a grilled meat. The other waiters were kind and professional, and the wait for our dishes wasn't long. The first courses are good and tasty, the grilled fish is lightly seared (the squid and shrimp are almost raw, so if you don't like it, let us know in advance). The prices are a bit high compared to the local average.
