19/08/2024: Friendly and helpful. The food is exceptional. The lasagna is recommended in all sauces, but the rest is also of a very high standard. The price, absolutely right. Let's say that if you wanted to make the same preparations at home, you would spend more.

30/06/2024: Abbiamo cenato al ristorante al ristorante Hiera. Pur non avendo vista mare si è rivelato il migliore ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato. La Signora Maria presenta i piatti con grandissima passione e minuziosa descrizione. Buoni antipasti, strepitosi i primi. Abbiamo provato 4 primi diversi uno più buono dell’altro. Tutto quello che Maria aveva descritto ha avuto un riscontro nel nostro palato. Tutte le materie prime freschissime, cucinate sapientemente e presentate in modo artistico. Prezzo onesto per quello che abbiamo mangiato.Torneremo sicuramente a Marettimo a trovare Maria e il suo locale. Famiglia Blunda -Marsala- Lo Cascio

26/06/2024: A true and original taste of Sicilian food, delicate and proportionate. The host described the menu as if narrating the story of each plate and how it came to be. We found the portion to be of the right size allowing you to try multiple plates. We each had a starter, a first/second and dessert. The overall atmosphere was authentic with a good typical Sicilian flavour, making us feel like locals and not tourists. In our experience by far the best restaurant on the island.

27/08/2024: Sono anni che andiamo a Marsala e non ci siamo mai fermati da Vito, complice il fatto che è in una posizione molto trafficata. Quest’anno avendo l’appartamento in zona Canottieri che è vicino lo abbiamo provato. Ci sono andata ad ora di pranzo ed era super affollato, avendo visto cosa propone direi che è più che giustificato. Non ho mai visto tante bontà in una volta sola, fantastico! Personale molto dinamico, mi è piaciuto molto, da tornarci! Complimenti.

24/08/2024: Ciao siamo turisti Fiorentini venuti a Marsala per le vacanze,spesso abbiamo mangiato da Vito.. Che dire tutto perfetto,pesce fresco di alta qualità,locale pulito e molto bello e per finire il proprietario Vito è eccezionale,un grande maestro della pasticceria. Vorrei nominare tutta la famiglia dalla moglie Irina alla figlia Sabrina al genero Piero e nipoti Marica e Luca che seguiranno sicuramente con successo gli insegnamenti del nonno !!! Grande famiglia. 12/08/2024: It's the right place. I was socked by the awful services, bad location, and lack of respect for your clients. I have never been in a bar, restaurant or trattoria and felt the smell of poo at the table! If the ministry of health comes there, I'm sure you'll pay some fines. Well, you've run for business for a while and definitely you have no willing of changing it. I needed to say about my experience. The steak wasn't good at all. The potatoes were brought after. The orders were mixed. One dish wasn't brought at all. We stay inside, so it was a strong smell of poo from the bathroom. Someone was pooing, so for 10-15 minutes was impossible to breath well. It looks quite dirty. The prices are quite hight for the place. The staff is horrible. The female waitress was so rude with me. Well, the location is not so good, so it might work well for local people. Who brought us there might be a cheap person, so after all it was his fault. The wine ordered and drunk by him was awful. I usually like driving cocktails, but I didn't dare to order a cocktail there, so I had a it of wine. I can say that I have never had such an awful dinner. The waiting time was extremely long! The "garden" is a joke! It was the first and last time when I put my feet in these kind of places.

08/08/2024: August 8th. I have to split the review, as it is not possible for me to reconcile opinions. Let's talk about the room, unfortunately I can't say it is up to the task. Temperature and humidity too high, adiabatic fans were placed but unfortunately in these cases there is only a semblance of cooling as the humidity tends to increase making the situation worse. Those who were near the fans complained of excessive ventilation and in fact it felt like eating inside a two-seater convertible car launched on the motorway at 200 per hour... Those who were not in the wake sweated profusely as they resisted, waiting to bite into the much-needed pizza. It is very difficult to appreciate the dishes when the temperature in the room exceeds 28 degrees and the humidity reaches 80%. In this explosive mix, add a wait of over 80 minutes and that's it, People become nervous, intolerant and sometimes rude... In this circumstance my respect is for the dining room staff, for us it was a brief moment during the evening, for those who work as hard as I have seen the situation certainly becomes more demanding. We started with an appetizer of panelle, French fries and potato croquettes. Nice sensation, fresh fried food, no aftertaste of oil used for many cooking, this is a nice thing, I was already thinking of the actual dinner as a happy surprise. After the appetizer, we waited, waited and waited again.... We arrived at the dining room at 8.30pm, the orders were collected at 9.00pm and at 10.30pm the dishes began to arrive, a situation like this is already difficult to reconcile with a reservation, I would add that some pizzas had very extensive burn marks, in cases Normally the situation would require replacement, but faced with such a wait and the heat close to the doors of Lucifer's house, the guests unanimously decided to give up any complaints in order to end the evening. I must point out that the pizzas demonstrate a high potential, the well-cooked ones were soft, with well-measured seasoning and a soft edge, this indicates that in my opinion the kitchen works, the problem that afflicts many restaurateurs in certain periods of the year is the crowds, too many customers mess up the kitchen and you risk making a bad impression even if the intentions are good. I highly recommend an alternative strategy, as they say, to the wise connoisseur in a few words.... I wish you good work.

17/07/2024: Very nice structure, we ate for a private event and in general everything was very nice. The real flaw that made me only give 3 stars is the lack of a lift in the restaurant area. Older people had to take load lifts in the kitchens. Really cramped and unpleasant experience. Is it possible not to be able to install an external stair lift?

06/08/2024: Excellent pizza and fish. Clean and comfortable room. I recommend the pici cacio e pepe.... delicious!!
