28/07/2025: Excellent location, recommended by the property where we were staying. We had delicious and tender split mussels, exceptional catch of the day, Sicilian sushi, tuna tartare, tuna croquettes, grilled octopus, and bruschetta with red shrimp tartare, accompanied by excellent local wine (see photo). Highly recommended.

10/07/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, where we'd been before years ago. We returned for the spaghetti with sea urchins; the portions were decent and the dishes were tasty. The prices are moderately high, but more or less reflect the quality. The atmosphere could perhaps be more refined and refined considering the price. The wine list was excellent. We also appreciated the complimentary dessert at the end of the meal.

13/07/2025: We happened upon a restaurant by chance, looking for a place to have lunch, and we chose this one. The food was delicious and the ingredients were top-quality. The place was meticulously maintained and recently renovated, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were served by Vito, a very kind man who, with great professionalism, showed us his passion for the industry, making us feel at home. Highly recommended.

12/07/2025: Waiters are nice but almost no one speaks English, which makes communication super hard. Had the marinated shrimps for starter and then couscous for main. All the fish even in the couscous came raw. I was absolutely disgusted, and felt a bit aggravated by not being able to communicate to anyone and understand if that was normal... Sad to say but this was by far the worst meal I've had in all of my travels in Italy. Giving 3 stars for the nice outdoor table and kind waiters.

23/07/2025: If I could, I would give it 10 wonderful stars. Al Gabbiano is a must for us on every trip to Italy. We eat here as often as we can. I have to say, calling it just food is a shame... it's heavenly!!! We've tried several dishes and are always very satisfied. The price-performance ratio is excellent! And the chef, his staff, and his family are passionate about their service! Very pleasant and friendly !!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

22/07/2025: I was there this evening with my family... the seafood appetizer was truly exceptional, the fish was very fresh... my father was a fisherman and fish of this quality is difficult to find even in more "expensive" places... a family atmosphere where you feel at home but with excellent quality products... top prices

C’est excellent ! On choisit un peu commie dans une boucherie, ce que l’on a envie de manger ! Pour nous ce fut, fromage grillé, filet de bœuf et une saucisse juste pour goûter ! Le tout accompagné d’un vin rouge très bon et d’une salade composée maison ! Wouah ! Tout était super bon, super frais !! Juste un grand merci à toute votre sympathique famille pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et votre excellente cuisine. Comme je vous l’ai dit de vive voix , je vous confirme que ce soir nous avons fait le meilleur repas depuis que nous sommes en Sicile ... et pourtant nous sommes très très fine gueule ! Gratie mile !

11/06/2025: AMAZING food!!! The salad was so simple yet the best thing I’ve ever had. The lasagna was extremely delicious as well and we loved how kind the woman serving everything was. She didn’t speak English, but it didn’t matter. When words fail you can always bond over smiles and food. Will be back one day!
