21/04/2025: Probably the best/tastiest burger the pair of us have ever had! Wonderfully soft bread bun, a huge juicy pattie dripping juices not fat. Great selection of toppings. Excellent light fries, not greasy nor oily. Owner was really friendly & helpful when we quizzed him about the beers. The place is a basic cafe type, but for the quality of burgers, you'd be paying 3 or 4 times more in some posher joint.

15/05/2025: Stayed out of season. The restaurant was still closed, but the breakfast was very good and well-kept.

07/05/2025: We stayed in 3, the spacious room, jacuzzi on the terrace. All facing the sea. 2 steps from the pedestrian center with shops and restaurants and just cross the street to be on the beach. In front there is a comfortable outdoor sports center with a football, volleyball, basketball and skating pitch.

12/06/2025: We went for dinner. The food didn't excite us in particular the meat was very very cooked almost inedible. The service was courteous and fast. We were at an inside table and our clothes got completely stinky because of the fumes coming into the room from the kitchen. 4 stars is a vote of encouragement to improve.

03/06/2025: Exquisite food, from the welcome to the dessert. The dishes are extremely well-finished both aesthetically and in the combination of flavors, perfectly balanced between them. Kind and attentive service and a very pleasant environment to the eye. What a great discovery, we will return with pleasure!

14/05/2025: DISÌO, AN UNMISSABLE STOP! Arriving in front of the restaurant, we are welcomed by the staff and taken to our table. We are given the menu, from which we can see a good variety of appetizers and first courses. The second courses and side dishes are more limited. After careful reading and evaluation we decide to opt for: - BUSIATE SHRIMP AND PISTACHIO, a typical pasta from Trapani, accompanied by a cream of pistachios, shrimp and burrata; - RISOTTO SCUSO', a classic seafood risotto; - CATCH OF THE DAY as a second course. The very kind and helpful waitress takes our order and then brings us a welcome drink to start the evening. The breadsticks were homemade and the bread was still warm when they brought it. After a fair amount of waiting, the first courses arrive, the busiate, more aesthetically elaborate, with a delicate flavor with the shrimp "hidden" at the bottom of the plate and the burrata that combined perfectly with the pistachio cream. The risotto scusò (seafood) abundant in every aspect from the rice to the fish with a great variety of the latter, strong flavors, to try at least once. The catch of the day, to say the least amazing, fish that once chosen, is brought and cared for in front of the table, a service that is not insignificant and that makes its mark. (watch the video) The bill for two people, is around €50 per person, a little more a little less, then it always depends on what you choose to eat. For what we ate I consider it in line and correct. Cover charge €3 per person Water €3 per bottle I had a great time at Disìo, a sophisticated environment but at the same time not too formal. Service and staff bordering on excellence, you feel accompanied by the staff in the lunch/dinner you are about to experience. I highly recommend it.

17/05/2025: The ice cream is not that great, the coffee cream was inedible (it was not cold in fact it was very melted) And the bathrooms, oh my the bathrooms! An unsightly and unusable thing (both men and women) and I was there during the week and there was no confusion at all!

04/06/2025: The place has a terrace with a wonderful view, especially at sunset it becomes very suggestive. Unfortunately, however, the dishes are not very abundant, I don't eat much and I get full quickly even with just a plate of pasta but here the portions are really miserable and therefore you are forced to take at least a second course so as not to leave with a half-empty stomach. We took 3 different first courses and all were very poor in quantity, also the couscous was nothing exceptional, I have eaten much better elsewhere. The service needs to be improved because it is lacking in various aspects and is very imprecise. In general, I would not return and I recommend it only if you pass by Macari and have no alternatives. Prices are too high for what it offers, you are practically paying for the location...

21/05/2025: A postcard you never want to leave. Makari is a corner of the world that takes your breath away, and “L’Antico Borgo” is the perfect setting. From its terrace you are privileged spectators of a sunset that transforms the sky, the sea and the clouds into a golden and orange palette, like a painting that comes to life every evening. As the light fades, the soft lights of the restaurant add a touch of intimacy and romance that accompanies each course. The cuisine? Sicilian, revisited with mastery. Very fresh raw materials, Trapani dishes that cannot be missed, and a wine list that celebrates local excellence. To conclude, carefully selected liqueurs and grappas. All made even more special by the pleasant chat with the owner, who shares his passion for Tuscany through anecdotes and laughter. A place that is not forgotten. An experience that is not told, but lived. And from which, truly, you would never want to leave.

28/04/2025: Forse è stata solo una serata storta, ma a noi non è piaciuto. A parte il fatto che il tavolo ci è stato dato mezz'ora dopo l'orario della prenotazione, abbiamo ordinato cozze scoppiate, cuoppo di gamberi e cous cous. Il cuoppo era abbastanza buono, ma le cozze sono arrivate fredde e il cous cous è stato servito dopo quasi 30 minuti dalla fine degli antipasti. A mio gusto poi è risultato poco guarito di pesce e senza sapore. Visto il costo del piatto, mi sarei aspettato di più.

05/10/2024: In spiaggia a San vito abbiamo deciso di prendere il pranzo take away da U paninu...scelta azzeccata! Arancina davvero buonissima sia ragù sia cotto e mozzarella....pane cunzato e panini buoni. Il ragazzo molto simpatico e gentile Abbiamo anche bissato il giorno dopo. Ottimo

29/09/2024: È tutto squisito, dalle arancine ai panini ed il personale è estremamente rapido, gentile e sorridente...bravi! Una tappa fissa vicino alla spiaggia di San Vito Lo Capo!

29/05/2025: Convenient parking a few blocks away. Clean place, friendly and helpful staff. Waiting times, it's a weekday, short. Mussel soup very fragrant with herbs, with fantastic tomato sauce and presented with two crunchy croutons. World-class. French fries, I would venture to say fresh, impeccable. Swordfish rolls with raisins and pine nuts breaded and presented on a skewer very good. Fresh and pleasant red radicchio salad. Two glasses of insolia definitely more than honorable, a bottle of water and two coffees, also perfect, for a total of €55 with receipt and debit card. We left satisfied: we couldn't find a flaw so the quality/price ratio seemed undoubtedly high. The mussels alone deserve another round.

29/05/2025: We were on vacation, we had dinner two nights in this trattoria. The place is welcoming, the dishes special, particular, excellent raw materials excellent tastes. The waiter who served us, a nice mix of courtesy and sympathy .... truly perfect!

22/05/2025: If you want to escape from the chaos of the city this is the right place! Beautiful restaurant immersed in the middle of the salt flats with a relaxing atmosphere. Inside, well-kept rustic style, outside the tables overlooking the salt pools. Excellent service!!! Despite the 2 buses full of tourists, guests of the restaurant too, the service was very fast! The dishes are abundant and excellent quality! Absolutely promoted. Highly recommended
