25/10/2025: When I go to Scicli with my family and friends, I always return to this restaurant. The quality and price are impeccable. The outdoor location is spectacular, in the most beautiful little square in the heart of Sicilian Baroque, near the Montalbano police station. It's very well-kept and beautiful inside, even on the coldest days. The owner, Franco, and his wife, Maria, are wonderful people. I highly recommend it. See you next time!!!

09/11/2025: A friend's son's first birthday. We arrived and were seated at 1:30 PM and started with appetizers at 2:40 PM. At 4 PM I had to leave for work, so I didn't get to the second birthday cake... The cheese platters brought after we finished the pasta, the waiters constantly asking me to move my chair forward so they could pass (and they obviously arranged the tables that way). Maybe it was an exceptional event today. But in any case, I don't think I'll go back.

02/11/2025: The atmosphere seemed very nice... until a waitress started explaining things. Although the food was disappointing for me, it was even more so when the fried food arrived cold and hard to chew. Let alone the appetizers, which were overly prepared and lacked the true authenticity of the products that the province of Ragusa boasts. In short, a forced gourmet experience without art or part, removed from my list forever...

08/10/2025: Gluten-free pizzas🤩 (separate pizza oven/kitchen) Great pizzas, both gluten-free and regular, really tasty and reasonably priced with excellent service.

16/10/2025: I would not recommend this place. The service was slow, prices very high and unfortunately, worst of all, the food is well below standard you’d expect in Sicily. Bread served was stale, plates were dirty and to add insult to injury, we were informed that the place was closing (as if to ask us to leave) despite waiting an inordinate amount of time to begin with to be served. The standard of food in Sicily is so high and value so good, this place falls far below it. Massive room for improvement.

02/10/2025: We found this place by chance while wandering around Modica. Inside there are just a few tables, with more seating in an outdoor passage. On the shelves you can find publications about the owners and their philosophy. They promise to serve traditional dishes with their own signature twist. The menu is accessed via a QR code. It’s short but interesting. We tried the caponata and the octopus on a potato bed. Both were delicious, although the potatoes were served a little too cold. For mains, we ordered carbonara and carbonara di tonno. The carbonara was slightly too dry, as if the proportion of pasta to sauce wasn’t quite right. My husband enjoyed the crispy tuna in his carbonara. Overall, it was a pleasant meal, though the price-to-quality ratio and portion sizes felt a bit on the expensive side.

04/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. I went today. The place was excellent. The location was good. The service was excellent. The food was truly excellent. It felt like I was eating food cooked by my grandmother. I regret not taking photos of the dishes. I will definitely take them next time. I highly recommend it.

04/11/2025: We went to this place for lunch today, November 4th, and to say the food was excellent is an understatement 😊. We had a Sicilian appetizer to share: pasta alla Norma, ricotta ravioli with pork sauce, paccheri with pistachio pesto, meat in tomato sauce, fries, and coffee. If you ask me what I recommend... I'd definitely recommend the meat in tomato sauce because it was truly fabulous. The location was spectacular, and the service was absolutely friendly and super helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

25/09/2025: The ambiance was truly special! A fantastic view over Modica under the local trees. That was truly special! The Negronis were superbly balanced and well worth the money. The aperitif platter was truly excellent in quality, with obvious local products and the feeling you want when ordering an Italian aperitif platter! Best regards!

29/07/2025: Lovely lovely terrace and setting. Food was below average for Italy, I would say. Nothing overly special. The front of house staff was kind and nice, however, our food took a whooping 45min to arrive to the table. The dishes we ordered were salad based and the restaurant was not busy at all which did not justify the tardiness at all.

07/10/2025: A wonderful restaurant with an oriental ambiance, a spacious outdoor area, beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. The food is very good, although you should ask directly if you don't want your meat cooked English-style. The service is attentive and English-speaking. The prices are very fair, despite the luxurious impression.

31/10/2025: Well-maintained. Typical Tunisian food. Reservations are made at the counter. The staff is friendly and ready to help you choose the best dishes. All beers are strictly non-alcoholic. Plenty of seating.

14/09/2025: Disappointment. We ordered mixed fried food, which arrived without salt. Two piadinas, one of which was Snow White with almond flakes instead of coconut. The other was Nutellosa and arrived without Kinder cereal and white chocolate topping. The kebab was good.

03/11/2025: Alas, I've yet to eat a nice bowl of fried fish here in Modicano, and I must say I was very enthusiastic! I immediately found the owners very helpful and courteous; they even offered us a bowl of fries, which was a very welcome thought! The sandwich was delicious, and after all that fried food, we didn't have any stomach aches or anything else, a testament to the lightness and authenticity of the product we ate! Congratulations again, and we'll be back soon... especially after the excellent experience.

29/10/2025: The fried calamari rings were good. I think it's excessive to charge for a disposable paper tablecloth, and you also have to go get the food you ordered, bring it to the table, and clear it away.

05/11/2025: I had the opportunity to go to this pizzeria on a Saturday night, a very cozy little place...near the square. Excellent pizza, plenty of ingredients, good quality raw materials. Very friendly staff.

16/10/2025: Top staff, excellent welcome and service, I managed to eat a good gluten-free pizza, I will go back there tonight and every time I am in Comiso for work.
