18/10/2025: I ate at this Roman-style pizzeria in Lampedusa and it was a truly excellent experience. We even ate there on two different excursions, on different boats! The pizza was delicious, fragrant and light, with quality ingredients that you could taste from the first bite. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, as well as kind, smiling, and always available. It's wonderful to find a place that combines the tradition of Roman pizza with the warm atmosphere of the island of Lampedusa. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

20/09/2025: When I go to Ribera, there's a must-stop: Bar Turano. Here I find the best arancini; more than arancini, they're true bombs that explode in your mouth with all their flavor, from the meat ones to the prosciutto ones. Not to mention the Genovese with cream. With the first bite, you immediately find cream and chocolate in your mouth. A true delight for the palate.

04/11/2025: We've been frequenting this restaurant for several years, and it's always a confirmation. The food is excellent, prepared by passionate chefs to bring out the full flavor of every dish, whether meat or fish. Kudos also to the pizza chef, who makes every pizza a work of art. The restaurant, headed by Beppe, has an exceptional staff; all the waiters are extremely kind and always ready to satisfy any customer request. Every meal or dinner is rounded off with an excellent coffee made with love by Raffaella, the super-friendly barista, who makes a macchiato that is a masterpiece to behold and truly to be savored, accompanied by complimentary cookies baked by the pastry chef. My compliments go to all the super-friendly staff, who make an evening feel like you're at a friend's house. Last but not least, thanks to all the owners for creating an extraordinary restaurant where everyone can find a dish they like and can finish the dinner with a long list of truly EXTRAORDINARY desserts to try. Thank you so much for providing us with relaxing and enjoyable dinners. We recommend everyone to try this experience.

24/09/2025: We discovered the place by chance, passing by, we bought some biscuits and marzipan sweets, everything very good!

16/06/2025: The gentleman who served us (I think the owner) was very kind and super professional. He answered all the questions we asked and explained all the differences between one dessert and another. The shop is small but big enough to contain all the goodness they sell. I tried the almond paste and marzipan desserts but their specialty is the Easter lamb (as per local tradition) and I would be curious to try the panettoni because from what he described to us they must be a fairy tale. Unfortunately I don't have any photos to attach but I can assure you that the desserts are beautiful (as well as delicious of course). If you pass through Favara it must be a must.

11/10/2025: We ordered the chicken in advance and they served it with potatoes and other delicacies. Excellent, highly recommended as a pizzeria too.

16/09/2025: Dinner for 4 people last night and a big disappointment. The setting is nice, the waiters do their job with a smile, but the food is unworthy of the price and expectations: a tuna tartare without any seasoning (you might as well eat plain fish at home), bland and flavorless main courses. We had the impression that everything lacked love, technique and especially taste. Too bad, because the place deserves better, but here it is clearly the food that is letting everything down.

13/10/2025: I had the curry meatballs. The curry served is similar to Dutch -Kerriesaus uit een pakje-. Most dishes on the menu are frozen products, heated up. (As the symbol on the menu indicates). Music and atmosphere are nice, but the food is not recommended.

07/10/2025: Cool location and great decor. Always busy, but that's understandable given the good food and the great atmosphere...and while you wait for your food, there's a game to pass the time --> put your phone away!

15/11/2025: I learned about Piero La Sogliola restaurant through some colleagues. They'd raved about chef Piero's dishes, and I have to say they were right. The food is good, tasty, and fresh. They served a variety of appetizers and a few first courses; I couldn't finish them due to the quantity. The local wine was also excellent. The staff was kind and attentive, very knowledgeable. I left satisfied. I recommend trying it.
