19/03/2025: Come da tradizione, per il giorno di San Giuseppe, Nicola ha preparato la pasta con le sarde, la cui bontà è stata molto apprezzata dal sottoscritto e dai miei, oggi numerosi, colleghi 😋. Ritengo, che questa preparazione non abbia nulla da invidiare alla più blasonata ricetta Palermitana. Per cui, possiamo, senza alcuna esitazione, iscrivere il nostro Chef alle Olimpiadi della Pasta con le Sarde 🤣

15/01/2025: Top-notch cuisine and chef, I recommend it

14/10/2025: The room was dirty. Upon arrival, there were 10 woodlice, half of them dead, and three spiders. Stains on the ceiling, a disgusting toilet seat, and mold in the bathroom. At reception, I was offered insect spray in the evening, so I could either sleep with live insects or in the cloud of poisonous woodlice. Only one towel, and the one they brought was completely tattered. Very thinly soundproofed. I woke up at 6:00 a.m. thanks to the neighbors. At breakfast at 8:00 a.m., they could have cleaned up the juice and coffee and refilled the cereal. An incomparable location, however, doesn't justify the 4 stars and the value for money in the off-season.

08/10/2025: The wood-fired oven is in plain sight, but behind the scenes at the back of the kitchen, they're making their way out of the electric oven. Not to mention the truly disappointing cold fried food.

17/09/2025: Beautiful restaurant. Despite a lot of reservations they made a table for us outside on the patio. Food was delicious and the service fantastic. Definitely added to our list of places to return to! I did notice a lot of large groups (up to 28 people) with reservations, so if you want outdoor seating I would call ahead.

03/09/2025: Really good food! But the price isn't there! One consideration, and the second time in 6 years that I've been crushed by the price!!! We're not there, I'm sorry because I ate really good! A beer, a glass of water, mussels in sauce, a first course of garlic scampi, 300 grams of spaghetti, 10 very small scampi, 🤦 €65 OVERDUE!!!!!

05/07/2025: I was in Agrigento for work and a local colleague recommended this bakery to me to place an order for the trip. What can I say, the arancini are delicious, I also tried the lasagna with eggplant and I have to say it is the best I have ever eaten. Not to mention the kindness of the staff...highly recommended!

02/09/2025: It was top-notch. We received the best service in Sicily here. It was a pleasure to be served with such enthusiasm, energy, and friendliness. The food was heaven on earth; every dish was a revelation, with combinations that were a true feast for the palate, and the quality sensational. Other restaurateurs, in particular, should take inspiration from this. TOP TOP TOP 6 out of 5 stars. Thank you.

30/09/2025: The restaurant is beautiful. We had swordfish and a grilled beef filet. The swordfish had that old fish taste and smell, very unpleasant. We complained to our waiter who was adamant that the fish was fresh. We live in a coastal fishing village in Mexico so we know what fresh fish smells and tastes like. The beef filet was tender but lacking in flavor.

28/09/2025: We tried typical Sicilian pasta and really liked it, especially the pasta with sardines. It's a restaurant where you can order a starter and pasta, or pasta and a main course. Parking is easy.

06/10/2025: We arrived early (1:00 PM) compared to the scheduled start time (1:15 PM). At 2:00 PM, with the dining room full, not a single dish had left the kitchen. When the first courses came out, around 2:05 PM, all the customers who had sat down after us were served one at a time. At 2:30 PM, we were the only table left—without wishing to exaggerate—not to be served. We asked the waiters for an explanation, and they assured us that everything was on its way. The first tables around us were finishing their appetizers without a single portion having been brought to our table. We asked for an explanation again, threatening to get up and leave; the waiter went to the kitchen and, after returning to the dining room, carefully avoided us, remaining distant without offering any explanation. We got up and told the cashier that we were leaving. They explained that it didn't matter who arrived first, but rather the time the order was taken, which was 2:00 PM. According to this logic, the moment the entire dining room begins to receive their food, we begin to order, despite having arrived an hour early. This makes no sense whatsoever, because our table is in the exact center of the dining room, so it's impossible for us to have been the last to order, regardless of the restaurant's sense or criteria for taking orders. And in any case, why did the waiters decide to take our order last, despite us having arrived an hour early? Besides, we had communicated our chosen menu when we booked, so there was no need to take any orders. As we walked out the door, a waiter brought a plate of mussels to our table, unlike the other tables, where the trays of other appetizers had arrived first. It's clear there was a problem in the kitchen, or that they preferred to serve regulars first rather than newcomers. In any case, we would have appreciated an apology or at least a sensible explanation of our concerns. The restaurant later contacted us by phone to apologize, saying they'd make amends. We'll see, and if necessary, I'll update the review. The inconvenience of a Sunday without food remains.

04/10/2025: The food is amazing, made with local produce. The ragu is delicious. The service is excellent! The interior patio is very pretty. I recommend it for dinner; it's even more charming.

03/10/2025: The place looks nice, but the experience was very disappointing. Our mixed fried dish arrived with some pieces still frozen inside; it had to be sent back and re-cooked. We ordered a well-done steak for our 1.5-year-old toddler (asked three times), but it arrived medium with some rare pieces. When we complained, the waitress rudely said “that’s how they like their meat,” which was completely unacceptable. Other dishes were just okay, but the poor cooking and rude service ruined the visit.
