05/08/2025: The person at the reception was not polite to us and other customers. They charge 15% service fees but quality of service is not up to the mark. They forgot to serve coke we ordered when we reminded them it appeared twice in the bill so we had to convince them that the first one though ordered was never served with other drinks. The person transacting the payment was very irritated with us at no fault of ours. He then spoke to his colleagues who were having late dinner to resolve it as he could only speak Italian. It was not a customer friendly experience. There was nothing special about the pizzas served here. The street ambience was quite good.

31/07/2025: This pizzeria and diner is always crowded. Service is quick and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pizza and arancini are both good. The fried calzones are excellent. The only drawback: you need to reserve a table for calzones and arancini, otherwise there's a high probability (if not certainty) that you won't be able to order them at your table. Recommended.

09/08/2025: We go back every year. The pizza is amazing and the carbonara pasta is exceptional!!!

17/05/2025: Hi, I'm used to never writing a review after visiting a place only once, in the last month I've been there 3 times for dinner and eaten different things, I would say the pizza was excellent with top quality ingredients, well cooked and leavened very well, the fish I don't know if it's Sicilian sea fish or an exceptional chef but it was definitely delicious, the appetizers were very inviting in appearance and pleasant for the palate, in short 5* there is no doubt. Oh I forgot you don't pay a lot, in fact I would say that for the quality offered the prices are reasonable.

12/07/2025: Bar Tabaré is located right at the entrance to Siculiana, making it ideal for a quick stop or a leisurely breakfast. I had breakfast there and was very pleased with the selection. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a great start to the day!

Giuseppe very professional and courteous; excellent coffee and delicious sweets, prepared with care and attention to detail. Every tasting is a confirmation of the quality of the products. A place that I definitely recommend to anyone looking for something good and well made. Compliments! 👍

15/06/2025: L'endroit est élégant, idyllique et apaisant. L'accueil sympathique. Les plats gastronomiques sont bons. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Propositions d'accord mets et vins. L'huile d'olive est dingue! Nous sommes repartis avec de l'huile d'olive et des bouteilles de vins de la région.

05/06/2025: If you are in the area, I cannot recommend the wine tasting enough! Barbara was so lovely and knowledgable and shared so much information about the vineyard and each of the wines. After the tour we tasted 4 of the wines and had some Sicilian Street food which was amazing! We loved the wine so much that we bought some to take home with us and also enjoyed a bottle or two in the terrace area. Gorgeous setting, lovely staff and brilliant wine!

20/07/2025: Sandwiches, sweets—everything delicious, the coffee excellent, and the service friendly, especially the young waitress, who was very communicative and friendly. The entire staff is wonderful. I highly recommend them.

19/07/2025: Great granita!!! Great service!!! Very nice owner, we loved their ice creams (torrone, nocciola, fragile and cioccolatz fondente 👍😊 and their granita caffè e limone), don't miss it!!!

16/06/2025: I had one of the best granitas with brioche of my life. The brioche was very soft and the pistachio granita had an intense flavor. Highly recommended! The manager was also very kind and made us try some real delicacies. I feel like I have to go back every time I pass by Canicatti!

03/05/2025: They gave us a dessert of their creations as a gift for Easter and we were pleasantly satisfied with the quality of the product and the raw materials. In particular we received the egg roll with the three creams to spread on top.

26/07/2025: Very disappointed with the pizzas. One of our pizzas had no base (no tomato or cream) and was therefore dry. It was supposed to contain lemon, but I didn't find any at all. Also, too much arugula, which hides the flavor of the other ingredients. The dough, on the other hand, is excellent.

19/07/2025: Superbe et énorme carte de pizzas pour tous les goûts. Petite carte de plats à la viande ou au poisson. Les pizzas sont super originales et vraiment très très bonnes. Malheureusement le service n’est pas à la hauteur. Je n’ai jamais reçu la carte des vins après plusieurs demandes. On a fait le repas à l’eau, c’est dommage car c’est un manque à gagner pour le restaurateur.

26/07/2025: The bar of dreams!!! Having breakfast here is a true ritual. In the morning, the counter is full of specialties to try, and the highly trained staff strives to satisfy the countless requests of customers, always with a smile. Five days here and we felt at home. The brioches and croissants are a must, as are the pistachio granita and cannoli. It was a pleasure to wake up in the morning and have breakfast here!!!
